Our property is surrounded by forests, beaches and serene walking trails so you can experience everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer. We ve created the perfect getaway for Vancouverites who want to unplug.

This suite is in the garden level of one of BC s most accomplished award-winning luxury home builders - Rae Gaylie. Rae has transformed this property into the perfect getaway sanctuary for those looking to get out of the city and recharge their batteries.

Inside you ll find a very spacious yet intimate abode (850 sq ft). Works well for small work retreats, couples who want a cozy romantic getaway or besties who want a place to relax, decompress and have a good time. Please no wild parties but feel free to be yourself and enjoy the abundance of energy you ll have after you cleanse your soul in our immaculate two-seat luxury steam spa & shower. The steam room is a preventive health space, aiding to detoxifying the respiratory passages, blood flow and warm you to your core.

Feeling stress or anxiety? The cave-like bedroom allows for perfect silence at night so you can rest without disturbance. Plenty of space for clothing and outerwear should you be on a longer stay. There’s also a comfy sofa bed that sleeps an extra 2.

If you are looking for something very chill during the evenings then enjoy Netflix on our 40” wall-mounted TV. Or perhaps a bevy and game of billards on our beautiful full-sized pool table. We ve also got plenty of space to knock out a few emails or work on your manuscript should you be so inclined. And of course we have excellent wi-fi so you can update your Instagram stories too.

When you stay at Dakota Ridge you get so much more than just lodging. We invite you to explore the grounds and smell the lavender in the garden. You can often see deer on "Gratitude Walk" a pathway located on our property which leads you to the waterside for tranquil walks by the sea. Don t forget to make time for a cozy fire under the moon and stars (weather permitting). This is all available to you on our property which truly lets you experience what nature has to offer.

We have taken guests out for boat tours before. It may be possible to arrange before hand but is always weather dependant.
