We had a blast there incredible scenery we could see the city lights would be nice if there was a fire pit down close by the river we would stay there again

Fun day by the river close to all the attractions

I had no idea what was going on in pigeon forge. So so many attractions. We had a fantastic time going out of the cabin and floating down the river. Check in was a little odd but maybe that’s just me. They will request a picture of you holding your drivers license and the back of your credit card showing the last 4 numbers. Other than that everything was awesome.

Everything was alright.

The property was awesome. Spacious rooms and the loft was cool. The river was so close and the fish were biting lol. Our favorite part was the Arcade barrel, that system had so many childhood gems and we were just like kids most nights. Everything was great and close to the strip to go into town, too.

Very nice property

Checking process was very easy. Had some minor issues that we noticed upon arrival and a maintenance man was sent out within an hour to take care of issues. Beautiful cabin and location. Very relaxing. Would stay here again!

Review

Very disappoint in this property. The pictures do an excellent job in highlighting the good things about this stay. If you’re looking for seclusion this cabin is not it. There are cabins not even 10feet from it. Both cabins were dirty, and in one bathroom shower the water valve was broken so you couldn’t turn the knob past halfway. It would not get hot. On top of that, the walk in shower had a crack in the floor so every time you showered the whole bathroom floor would fill with water. The back deck was the only redeeming element considering we spent most of our time out by the fire pit over looking the river, but thank god there were two hot tubs because one of them was broken. We told the property managers about it and they did not resolve the issues or offer and solution or compensation. Do not recommend.

Great location and property! As dirty as they come

Cleanliness needs to be addressed. Moldy shower curtains is something that shouldn't be overlooked or ignored and it reflects on entire property

Just Okay

Upon arrival there was no key in the lock box. Management sent someone to get us in....the cabins were not clean at all. We used the pull out sofa and it was disgusting under the sofa bed. Carpeted areas did not look like they had been touched with a vacuum. The outside deck area and location on the river could not have been more relaxing. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay out there the whole week. Steps leading to river could have used some work as they were not safe for our older parents to use.

Faulty appliances

In one cabin the over the stove microwave and washer/dryer didn’t work from day one. Maintenance was notified and they made several attempts to “fix” the problem. On day Two, the over the stove microwave in the second cabin quit working. Again, maintenance was notified and they attempted to fix it. On day three maintenance decided that the appliances would need replaced. The appliances WERE NOT replaced during our stay. They did bring us a temporary replacement microwave. Overall, the cabins are great for a multi family vacation. The location is great! If you read through the comments(which I failed to read ALL of them) on Aunt Bug’s(company that own’s the cabin)website, you will notice that there was an issue with the microwave a couple of months prior to my vacation. This is unacceptable! When you pay for something, you expect all things to be in working order. I understand that things can and will happen, but Aunt Bug’s knew that there was/is an ongoing problem with the appliances and neglected to fix them. Yes they did send out a maintenance person to “try” and fix the problem, but the bottom line is they played me for a fool, they were already aware of the problem! That is why I gave this cabin such a low rating, and it is very unfortunate, this could be a great place to rent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have a wonderful trip to the mountains! The cabin, A River Adventure, was exactly as described and perfect for a large family get together! PROS: GREAT location, VERY clean, very friendly staff, we tubed the river right in front of the cabin!Fire pit and hot tubs were amazing! Great for 2 families on combined trip; LOVED that there was no stairs or river access from the back deck so little ones could run back/ forth between cabins without us having to worry about them falling in the river... sounds minor but it was a big deal to us. To get to the river you just walk out the back door of the cabin to walk down to the river. CONS: (All were minor and did not ruin our stay... just a headache and worth mentioning) - check in was a pain having to go to the actual office (we were there 45 min) and bring $400 CASH for deposit when they already had a credit card on file - the security alarm kept going off after correct code was entered and the police came; but they got it fixed quickly even with late arrival - several light bulbs did not work and no spares to replace them -the kitchen could have been better stocked (ex. no steak knives in one cabin; ice maker didn't work)but we did manage to find what we needed swapping out between the 2 cabins Overall great trip and would not hesitate to rent with them again!

Beautiful place with a few needed improvements

Gorgeous property, inside and out, but there were a few things that could have been better. 1)The beautiful beds were 4 feet high with nothing to help our short family get on them. There were no steps and the height of the beds was not mentioned in the listing. Everyone had to jump or climb into bed and one lady who was handicapped ended up on the pull out couch. 2) Next, the master bathroom breaker kept tripping and when the handyman came out to check out the problem, instead of replacing the breaker, he said for us to only use one thing at a time. Either the lights or the hair dryer, not both. 3) On our final night, the living room ceiling began slowly leaking and the water was being flung off of the ceiling fan. But, if these things were fixed, I'd love to go back.

Double cabins with connecting deck awesome!

Great place! Love the double cabins, everyone can have their own space but enjoy family time on the large deck that connects both cabins.
