*Note - 4th Bedroom with bunk beds is in open loft area.

All the roads leading to the cabin & driveway are paved, but please be mindful that you are renting a cabin in the mountains. The roads can be curvy, narrow and steep, there are no street lights on the back roads. The driveway is paved, but is steep. There is flat parking at the cabin, but it can be tight & larger vehicles may not be able to turn around. We recommend a 4WD vehicle in the winter months in case of ice or snow. No refunds will be given due to weather conditions.

Sleeps 10 adults comfortably. A bathroom is on every level of the home but please be sure to tuck those shower curtain liners inside the tub/shower to prevent water damage!

The Red Door Resort is tucked up in the mountside so be aware that natures bugs/creatures will sometimes find their way inside the cabin! Occasionally the local bears will roam the area and from time to time, have made their way onto the deck to check for snacks! Be sure to lock your doors!

Please note that while the home is on a full water filtration system, the hot tub is direct from the well, this can cause an off color look but rest assured, the hot tub is drained and treated after every guest.

Great cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was the perfect size for our group. Great for kids, awesome location (close to all the attractions), super cozy and had great amenities. Highly recommended staying here!

Red Door Resort Cabin

Fantastic Cabin and Location

We stayed here for a few nights while we took a vacation to Dollywood. The hosts are incredible! The space was clean and exactly what we needed! The location is great- very close to everything by car, but it feels like you out in the wilderness when you are at the cabin. We would definitely like to stay again next time we visit the area.

Secluded cabin yet close to everything

Great secluded cabin in the mountains yet so close to all the attractions! Cabin was fully furnished, just bring your bags and food (if you wish to cook). We had 3 teenagers and 4 adults with plenty of room and so much fun! Game room, movie room, fire pit and hot tub were a hit! Close to so many attractions and restaurants. We would highly recommend to anyone!

Amazing trip!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location of this cabin is perfect! You’re less than a 10 minute drive to most of the Pigeon Forge attractions (Dollywood, The Island, Titanic museum etc), but you also feel like you’re away from it all when you’re at the cabin. The place was very clean and my teens really enjoyed the air hockey and basketball game. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Secluded Hideaway for Baseball Tourney

Great place to hang out and relax between games at the Ripken Experience just minutes from the ballpark. No one else is around so we had peace and quiet between all of the games and taking up all the activities in town.

Beautiful

What an awesome few days..seen a bear on our porch the first night. Very close to everything..but still gives you the peaceful nature experience. Only concern..I have a bad knee..so beds were low to ground and lots of stairs in house.

Great spot

We enjoyed the serenity and quiet that came with this home. The house is fully stocked. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. The kids enjoyed the game room and movie theater. The location is very central. We loved the decor and vibe in the house. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cabin that’s more secluded and peaceful versus a cabin in a little cabin village.

The property and hosts were awesome

The cabin was exactly as pictured! We were there the week before Christmas and they had a tree with lights in the family room! We used the hot tub every day and when we needed service the response was quick! The theatre room and game room was used everyday too which kept the kids busy during downtime between adventures. The cabin is close to everything! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Great stay at Red Door Resort

We took a family of 9, had plenty of room, and loved the stay! The cabin has a very "homey" feel with a fantastic layout and all the beds slept great. My boys and I absolutely loved the media room for gaming and watching sports on all the Roku/Netflix ready TV's. Personally, I loved the location just outside of Pigeon Forge only minutes from the parkway and definitely secluded with no traffic. The kitchen and grill were cook friendly, as were the spaces to eat inside and outside on the picnic table. My son and I enjoyed lifelong memories in our 3 days there and we look forward to going back in the future.

Cabin review

House is nice and clean, however, the driveway is not good. If you have more than one car, you have to back down the hill. The furniture is cheap, the mattress was comfortable but the beds sit really low to the floor. Overall, we had a great experience here and a fun time in Pigeon Forge.

Baseball Vacation

The cabin is located very close to Dollywood and about 2.5 miles from The Cal Ripken Experience. We could see the fireworks from Dollywood every evening standing outside on the porch. The driveway is very steep and we found it easier to back up the hill each time. Two large trucks fit in the driveway easily. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Remember to bring extra trash bags.

They should all be this good.

We had never rented a cabin before, and I have to admit I was a little wary. This cabin was perfect on so many levels. The value of its location can not be overstated. It is secluded and private but minutes away from the parkway and attractions. Game room was great for the kids, and the adults. Three bathrooms, three showers made it easy for everyone to get ready in the mornings, and at night you can see the fireworks from Dollywood from the deck. Roads can be a little dicey near the driveway, take it slow, and 4 WD is probably a good call during the winter. This is a great place to stay, I will definitely try to bring my family back here.

Cabin getaway

We had an amazing time. The cabin is wonderful. Perfect size with plenty of amenities. The kids loved the game room and movie theater room. Decor was perfect. Amazing communication with the property owners. Seconds from Dollywood and minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge. The beds are low to the ground on the low profile platform frames. Not the best and not the worst, but could potentially be challenging for some. If you like to drink hard liquor, bring some with you. Closest “actual” liquor store is 15-20 minutes away. Beer, wine, and “moon shine” is everywhere. We would definitely rent again!

Disappointed

Very disappointed. No view, downed trees and trash on hillside. No place for luggage, no decent dressers, no hangers. Every area seemed cramped. Deck, sitting area. Kitchen- no sheet pans, one cheap, small pizza pan, one small casserole bowl. Lucky my daughter bought a large cast iron skillet or we would not been able to roast the leg of lamb. My granddaughter did like the bunk beds.

Christmas family weekend

Overall it was a great place for a long weekend. Had a couple of issues with the fire pit not working. They addressed it. I will warn though that the TVs are Roku and you will need to have your login to watch any live TV in local markets.

Cozy, clean and fun!

We loved our stay at the Red door resort. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and it was plenty of space for us. The kids loved the game room and movie room. The hot tub is a great end to a busy day. The home is located very close to all the action of Pigeon forge and less than 10 minutes from Cal Ripken (if you are a baseball family). We would stay here again and again. My husband has said multiple times since we left "that cabin was awesome." It really is beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. We did not have any issues while we were there but the owners still messaged to check in. The only suggestion I would make is maybe some beach towels for the hot tub. We were using our shower towels and there were plenty of those to go around so it wasn't a big deal.

Awesome amenities and great location!

We Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was great! Super cute decor. The kids loved the games and movie room in the basement. Kitchen well-stocked. Beds were super comfortable. The back deck was the perfect way to spend the evening. Will definitely return for another’s day.

Absolutely perfect setting

The Red Door Resort is a must stay if your going to be in TN for a few days! It’s centered perfectly from everything so you never have to drive to far but is also perfectly secluded for privacy. If you have kids they will love playing in the game room or watching movies in the theater room like our five did. The pack n play was a great add as I didn’t have to worry about remembering to pack ours and for someone who may not already have one it’s the perfect touch for those little ones. The home was very clean (even the vents which always seem to have build up in other places we have stayed) and the beds provided plenty of layers and even additional blankets if needed. They offered so many extra touches from coffee, bath soaps, a great start of paper products and an abundance of bath towels which was amazing being we have five kids! Sara and Clint checked in several times along our stay to make sure we were settled and were quick to answer all questions/concerns! This place has everything you need and more, the only thing I would suggest is some oven mitts but that’s something so small. We honestly had an amazing stay and look forwards to staying here again in the near future! Thank you again Sara and Clint for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!!

Hello, we have been enjoying hosting families from across the United States in the Smoky Mountains. It's such a joy to see so many people loving our cabins and the area! We have 3 beautiful children, live on a ranch in ND where we enjoy riding our horses and enjoying the outdoors.

We were drawn to this location when building our new cabin. We loved that you were up against the mountain side with so much privacy but yet only minutes from the fun of the parkway. We love the style of our cabin, it is different than so many out there. The decks have so much to offer for families or even a couple wanting to get away from it all!

The media room offers a movie theater experience! The game room is ready for competition along with being able to have your favorite sport on tv to also cheer on!
