Immaculate Custom built Log Home with a large loft that sleep 4 plus 2 bedrooms with king beds that sleep 4, 1 bath & laundry room. Free Wi-fi included. Great room with stone fireplace, large deck (with new posts and rails in 2022) a great view of the lake. Lots of shade trees and a huge fire pit for campfires. Fish cleaning house with a chest freezer. 112 ft of shoreland and a private boat dock to fish from and tie up a boat. Garfield Lake is over 900 acres and a excellent fishing lake with a public swimming beach. This is a very quiet and peaceful place to relax and make wonderful memories with family and friends. Access to the Paul Bunyan trail is at the end of our driveway. Located 1/2 mile from Laporte, 10 miles from Walker, 25 miles from Bemidji, and 22 miles from Itasca State Park.

This is a special place! Itā€™s a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! The check in was very easy and the cabin had everything that we needed, including in the kitchen. I enjoyed taking the kayak out for an evening paddle on the smooth as glass lake and enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the loons. The little store in Laporte was close for picking up milk and sweet corn. We look forward to staying here again!

Our stay was amazing. It was everything we hoped for and more. Jan did a wonderful job of equiping the cabin. So much so that, being first timers, we brought more items than we needed to. The fishing was good. The surroundings were great. We kept busy with activities in the surrounding area. The only negative I have is that we didnā€™t book it for 2 weeks instead of one. Maybe Jan will allow us next year. We loved it.

Ideal waterfront cabin property

Three of us fished off the dock every day and two has great luck catching bass from it. The kayaks were Al great to use to get out a bit further for fishing. The house was gorgeous and well cleaned. It was great to have three separate sleeping areas and the loft included a tv so our older kids could hangout there and relax too. The deck was really neat and always had the best view. We loved this cabin so much and highly recommend it!

Very clean and well organized cabin! Very well stocked kitchen with the essentials you might forget. The yard is perfect for outdoor play and a fire at night. Fishing off the dock was a success! Just a quick drive into Laporte for a few groceries or dinner and drinks. The cabin is in nice proximity to all the touristy stuff to do in Walker, Park Rapids, & Bimidji. Art & Jan were great hosts! Would definitely book this property again.

Wonderful get away!

Stayed with sisters and 81 year old mom. Beautiful cabin. Kitchen was very well stocked. Beds and bedding were super comfortable. Eating on the deck was relaxing. Will definitely recommend and hope to come back!

Nice Minnesota lake getaway

The cabin and property are very pretty. The lake is a natural lake so there's some grasses and natural vegetation around the banks and dock. It was very peaceful and nice place. Cabin is very spacious.

We purchased this property in May 2018. All the furnishings are new and the cabin has been cleaned from top to bottom. This is a vacation home for us and we love it. We would like to give someone else the opportunity to stay and enjoy this beautiful peaceful place while we are gone. We have found a wonderful manager here in the Walker area who will be available to you for a any questions or problems that might arise during your stay.

We have vacationed in the Walker Area for over 30 years camping and boating on Leech Lake and the surrounding area every summer. When we retired we decided to buy a cabin instead of bringing our camper and boat with us from Nebraska.

We found this wonderful property and instantly fell in love with it. We look forward to coming back every year.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

Beautiful custom built Log cabin on approximately 1 acre with many mature trees on a very quiet secluded road. There is also a fish cleaning house with running water and a freezer. The Paul Bunyan Trail is across the road from the end of our driveway. Excellent trail for bikes or walking. Laporte is just a 1 mile down the road with a excellent grocery store, gas station and city park with playground equipment. There is a public dock for launching boats into Garfield Lake.
