Condo has many issues and needs some updating!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to find the washer broken and were informed that we couldn't use the washer and dryer for the entire week. The dishwasher door is loose and needs fixing, and the mattresses on the twin and full beds need replacing. While we expected the carpet to be filthy, it could use a thorough cleaning. Some of the furniture is old, and the sliding doors in the family room and master bedroom don't lock and need replacing. There was no dining room table, which turned us off. Condo was filthy, and we had to clean several rooms. Despite these issues, we had a great time but would NOT return to this 4a condo.

Relaxing Getaway

This unit was ready early for us to check in which was perfect after driving 15 hours straight from NY. Pool and beach were seconds away to relax and unwind. My only negative comment was the very uncomfortable stools at the bar/island.

Unit 4A should be removed from rental system !

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has been coming to Arcadian One ( and once Arcadian II) for over 40 years. We love the place. I booked 4A but upon arrival found the unit lacking in many areas. The furniture in the Living room is worn out and most uncomfortable to sit on. There was only one good seat, the new reliner so only 1 out of 5 could be comfortable while trying to watch a movie on a small TV. The DVD player was so old it would not accept a Blue Ray DVD so the movies we brought were useless.The Dining table is rickety and people banged their knees on the legs. All of the chairs had busted seats and when you sat on those you were sitting one the wood edges...I would put the throw pillows on the chairs for a little more comfort but just had to hope no one would go through the chair. The bar stools had plastic covers over the seats which stuck to your legs and the stools were not easy for my sister (who is 79) to get in and out of. We like to play games and so we did not have a good set up for dining or playing games. WE cook in most all meals and the pots and pans are worn out with the not stick finish peeling off. I refused to use them. Thank goodness we brought one good fry pan with us. The freezer was not cold enough and our ice cream was ruined.Limeade liquified.I called mgt and they sent someone to look into the problem...he put it back to 3 ( I had adjusted it up as high as 9 because the label said the higher you set it the colder it would be. The freezer just did not function properly. The Fridge was fine. Loved havinf filtered H2O at the sink and LOVED the large washer & dryer. We used them a lot. Matress pads were missing on the King bed and both twin beds.Comforter on King bed worn out and had holes. Twin coverlets were thin anf in Middle room should be changed out for a flat screen TV. The TV in Master Bedroom is very small. The seating on balcony was ok but not very comfortable either.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The furniture is very dated and should be replaced. Looks old and not very comfortable to sit on. The bed in the hall bedroom is listed as a queen - it is a full size bed. We have stayed in the Arcadian for years. It's convenient and quiet and has a great beach. The unit was clean. Brittany in the office was very helpful with any questions.

This property has a lot of potential but needs a lot of TLC

Check in was easy. Location was great. Beach was gorgeous. Balcony view was great. It was clean. The furniture, fixtures and window treatments are probably original to the property and were probably 30 years old. The sectional was broken up to provide additional seating in the living area, none of which was terribly comfortable due to the age of the sofa. The fridge was badly stained and was very old. The stove was nice but stood out because the other things were not new. We had to plug in all the lamps and TVs in the whole condo for some reason. The TVs were not great at all. The two flat screens were small and the bedroom with a full bed had a box TV in it. The beds were very old as were the bed spreads. The king bedspread had spots where it was dry rotted. This property has the opportunity to be lovely, but in its current state I was extremely disappointed. If you are just looking for somewhere to stay and are not looking for luxury, this might be it. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a relaxing vacation.

Great Location

The property was fine. Its certainly showing signs of age. Some of the little things I would point out to the owners: Sliders to the balconys are very difficult to open and close. The master shower doesn't drain well at all. Carpets look pretty tired (stains,burn etc) Nit Picking aside.. the price of the unit was good and it certainly didn't affect my golf game!

terrible condo

the room really smelled bad the furniture was worn out recliner turned over with me backwards hit my head, drapes were awfull and sliding doors barely would open, shower would fill up with water had to call maint. still would stopped up bed spread torn places

More than expected. Just over all amazing experience

Our first time staying at Acadian 1. The condo was so clean and so pretty. And the veiw was so beautiful. The pool was amazing. The condo is in a great location to get to everything needed and shopping was a breeze. But yet away from all the hustle and bustle of other tourists. Which made relaxing so peaceful. Every one was so nice and polite. Our trip was for 5 days and it was over all excellent will definitely return to Acadian 1 in the future. Just can't say enough how perfect it all was!

March in Myrtle Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in a new unit this year and liked it even more than previous units. The view is spectacular on the lower levels of this building. Unit was nicely decorated. This year was unusual in that construction was being done on the outside of the building which was very noisey but we were informed of this prior to our booking. Had to leave mid month due to the Coronavirus so not able to totally unwind as was planned.
