This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Horizons 4 condo is a great home base for your next Sun Valley vacation. Whether you're planning a business trip, solo adventure or mountain getaway with family or friends, this Sun Valley condo boasts a prime location, resort-style amenities, and big views from the back deck.

The Horizons 4 condo complex is situated blocks from the top attractions and activities in Sun Valley. Explore the Wood River bike path, fish the Big Wood River, ski the Sun Valley slopes, and shop, dine or dance the night away in downtown Ketchum. If you're looking for leisure, the complex features a seasonal heated pool, a year-round sauna and hot tub, and a rec room with books, games, ping pong and space to socialize.

On entry, there's a convenient boot and coat storage space for your gear leading into the open living area. In the winter months you'll be heading straight to the river rock fireplace to set the tone, in the summer the sliding doors to the back deck demand to be opened. The living area features contemporary leather furniture, a flat screen TV for entertainment and a dining area to seat 4 guests.

The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare snacks and picnics for the day, or your favorite home cooked meals. The granite counters and copper sinks are gorgeous and there's extra seating at the breakfast bar for four. In the summer months, the back deck beckons for BBQs and alfresco dining with tranquil alpine views.

This Horizons 4 vacation condo accommodates up to 4 guests in a queen bedroom, a 2-bed bunk room tucked behind a mirrored door in the hallway. A great set up for a group looking for a home base to explore the Sun Valley area. The guest bathroom has a tiled tub/shower combo and there's an adjoining washer/dryer for guest convenience.

Great location, spacious for the size, able to sleep 6 which is nice for families. There was a small issue with the dishwasher but they showed up ASAP to handle and were great hosts. Would recommend!

Next to Sun Valley main parking lot. Excellent access. Best feature is Salt Water Hot Tub.

Perfect for a small group

Three of us here for a ski trip. One set of double beds was in a closet, but it was a good use of space and private! Could walk to the slopes but we chose the 2 minute drive.

Well-managed. No hassles check-in. Pretty much as marketed. The business end of the transaction was smooth, although after taxes I think it's a bit overpriced. The unit could use a good scrubbing. Tell the homeowner's association to take out the two dead aspens just off the balcony. The neighborhood is fantastic. Would probably stay again.

Great stay

The property location was perfect! Close to town and right next to sun valley resort. The hot tub was only a short walk from our condo as well, and it was nice and hot! The condo itself was ok. It is kind of out dated. The baseboard heater in the bedroom was making crackling noises all night, which made it hard to sleep. There are 4 in my family and there was only 3 reclining chairs and no couch. After a long day on the mountain it would have been nice to all be able to kick our feet up and relax together. The towels felt like sandpaper and there wasn't a blow dryer. We will definitely be back , but probably pick a different condo on the property.

Week of skiing

The place was clean and good location. Parking was easy and access was easy as well. Nice towels. Comfortable bed. The book provided at the unit was full of instructions that were not accurate - wrong wifi code, wrong instructions for the fireplace. Upon leaving a message with the phone number in the book and receiving no response got a hold of emergency maintenance (which it was not) that said just refer to to link provided. The place was dated and needs to be updated. Minimal kitchen supplies - barely any knives and VERY dull, no teapot, no wine opener. No end tables of any kind to set anything next to the chairs or bed (on one side)- no couch (as expected). No clocks except on stove. VERY minimal - my husband said it feels like a bachelor pad. I agree

An okay condo with a few quirks

This condo has a great location and communication with the property manager was great. But there are a few quirks to the unit. The bed in the bedroom is a Murphy bed (another Murphy bed is also in the living room); it takes extra space in an already small bedroom, and there's no space for bedside lights or a nearby bedside table. Closet space is also very limited. Seating in the living room is a little odd: just 3 chairs with ottomans (no couch) and no coffee table or side table to put a drink, book, tablet etc. The kitchen is equipped, but most of the pots, pans, utensils, etc. date from another decade. Addressing these issues with a few upgrades would improve the experience here. That said, the location is great, the unit was clean and all our basic needs were met.

A very nice addition would be laundry soap for the washing machine.

A very nice addition would be laundry soap for the washing machine. This is very nice while travelling. Another big improvement would be scent free soap for the sheets and bedding. Many people, including my wife are allergic to the perfumes in laundry soap. We had to wash the sheets so she could sleep without breaking out.

Good stay

We had a great stay. The only thing I'll mention is that there was a strong mildew smell in the living room area. We slept on the Murphy bed in that area and the strong smell was from the shared wall with the other unit next door. My guess is there was or is a water problem on or in that wall. I would recommend having some one look at that.

small but well put together and very convenient to River Run

The condo is relatively small, with a bedroom, kitchen/living area with a murphy bed, and what appears to be a large closet converted to contain a bunk bed with two singles stacked above each other. My 17 year old loved the bunk set up and was very happy sleeping there, so the tight space isn't necessarily a problem. The only real negative in my opinion is that the sound proofing between this unit and the one directly above wasn't that great. You could hear the occasional footstep, door closing, etc. If you're a light sleeper you may want to think about that, but it didn't bother us. The location is terrific, it's a reasonable walk to the River Run ski base or a VERY short drive, and similarly it's a 5-10 minute walk to downtown Ketchum restaurants and bars or a quick drive. Michael was a pleasure to deal with, and arrival/departure went very smoothly.

Small, relaxing, comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. I was especially impressed because there was shampoo and lotion included... Which is rare normally. The one thing that I would have liked was some coffee included. We had to run to the store to grab some urgently in the morning.
