Fantastic!

Fantastic place! Closer than indicated to the beach and the town-centre. The flat was clean, comfortable and well furnished with an interesting and fun mix of brand-new and antique furniture. We got all the help and information we asked for from the owners and the manageress. The town is not too big and not too small, rather the perfect size. Easy to find all shops you need. 10-15 restaurants and cafees, from fairly simple to top class. It is a really good feeling to put on your dressinggown in the morning, walk one block to the beach, take a swim and then a cup of coffee at one of the beach-cafés and just relax.. Can life be better? Regarding possible activities: there are a sailing school and a diving-school in the village. Very good trecking and biking. You can rent horses in the vicinity. Golf 15 min. away. Tennis courts in the village. One of the best places we have visited and therefore we would like to extend our warmest recommendations.

Nice little apartment in a nice little town.

This gracious little aparment is very conveniently located close to everything and is furnished with taste. However, to get access to the apartment is not immediate. The landlord is not living in the town and to get the apartment keys you have to drive to a local hotel fisrt and get them from the hotel owner. This is a rather simple process, however, in this town it proved to be kind of challenging as there are not so many parking possibilities neither close to the hotel nor close to the Aprtment and the streets are very narrow. But finally we managed to collect the keys, leave the luggage close to the apartment and park the car at the parking of the trainstation. I must say that after some hours of driving this was kind of stressful. Probably it is an easier process in the low season. Once in the apartment we were very pleased with the furnitures and the rooms. There was not toilet paper, which for me is not ok, as at least one roll should be available. So I had to get out again an look for a supermarket whilst my 5yo son was waiting in the bathroom. One last negative aspect is that the apartment is not much sound proof, so on our last day were woken up by some other guests in the house that were leaving their apartment at 5:00 in the morning. To conclude: I would have appreciated a little more care to guarantee a smooth arrival (somebody at the apartment waiting with the keys and, why not, some toilet paper to address us to the closest parking) and some rules for the other guests advising them that the apartments are not soundproof. Beside this the apartment can be reccomended. The landolord offered an excellent and prompt remote support with all the necessary information to spend a good time in this lovely town. The position of the apartment is excellent and close to everything. The apartment itself is also very nice and comfy and worth its price.

Dear guests, We welcome all our guests to leave their impressions of their stay at Rue Voltaire and thank them for that. We just want to add some further explanations: Delivery of keys: The hotel, where keys can be collected, ”Hotel du Manoir”, is situated 150 meters from the apartments. If need be, other key-delivery-arrangements can of course be organised, preferably by phone in advance of arrival. Parking: There are mainly three parking areas, we can recommend during the high season: The dry riverbed, 200 meters from the apartments and the marketplace (not Thursdays and Sundays), 200 meters from the apartments and at the railwaystation, 300 meters from the apartments. Parking in the direct vicinity of the apartments, can be difficult to find during high season. In the futute we will be more specific as to information where to find parking. Toilet paper: Our mistake. Of course there should be toilet paper in the apartments. Noise: We do not find our apartments less sound-proof than other apartments. However, in the future we will inform our guests that we expect everyone to respect their fellow-guests preferrence of civilised sound-levels.

Marche, baignade et chaleur à Banyuls

Nous avons loué cet appartement à Banyuls pour pouvoir marcher sur le chemin côtier qui est une pure merveille. Or, il a fait très chaud, plus de 30° dès la fin de la matinée, ce qui a rendu la marche plus difficile. Mais, en compensation, nous avons pu nous baigner dans la mer deux fois par jour. Et ce matin, avant de quitter l'appartement, nous sommes allés nous baigner à 8h00. Délicieux. L'appartement très bien situé, agréable et, surtout dans le contexte, climatisé, ce qui nous a permis de respirer ! Merci à Régina.

Hoping to stay there or in another of this person's properties in the future. This is a pleasantly decorated, very sunny place with really comfortable beds and a little heater for the cooler temperatures that we were surprised by.

Absolument génial !!

Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement du dernier étage. L'appartement est parfaitement équipé et décoré avec gout. La terrasse donne un vrai plus à cette location. Il est situé au pied des commerçants et notamment d'une boulangerie. Je recommande vivement cette location dans une région qui est de plus très belle.

Magique!!

Nous sommes allés à Banyuls cet été entre amis. L'appartement est complètement rénové, moderne et confortable, il est équipé d'une climatisation, ce qui a été très appréciable en plein été. Les lits sont très confortables et la cuisine spacieuse. Nous avions 2 grandes chambres et un salon (équipé d'un grand canapé convertible!). Il est situé à seulement 100 m de la plage, il n'y a que la rue à traverser! La rue était calme et la ville pittoresque. Nous étions à quelques pas de la rue Saint Pierre avec les petits producteurs de produits locaux. Je recommande vivement cet appartement où nous avons passé un super séjour.

You have a large variety of outdoor activities available for all ages : fine beaches, boat trips, boat rentals (with ou without a license), jet-ski, deep sea diving, snorkelling, canoeing, canyoning, horseback riding, vineyard tours, cultural and historical sightseeing. For hiking enthusiasts the Grande Randonnée 10 starts just outside Banyuls and you can walk for hours in the hills or along the sea.
