Newer construction 3 bedroom house with Gourmet Kitchen and a large master. There are 3 bedrooms featuring one King, one set of bunk beds and a Queen. The house is 15 minutes away from the Silver wood/boulder beach theme park with a new modern grocery store 10 minutes from the house. Comfortable furniture and a deck that overlooks the pond and the adjacent meadow create a very serene environment. Just six minutes from highway 95 and twenty minutes to city beach in Sandpoint Idaho make this an ideal location to get away from it all and be close to everything at the same time. WIFI, Satellite with premiere package, Traeger Grill, and RV parking are just some of the available amenities. You are also close to miles of hiking and biking trails located just 10 minutes away at Farragut state park and bayview Idaho. Ample room for boat parking and turn arounds.

Perfect family vacation

We loved staying at this beautiful house! It was a perfect place for our family of five. We had plenty of room and all the cute details throughout the house were so fun. The view from the deck was amazing and the hosts were both so great. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful place to stay and relax

This is a really beautiful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. I didn't realize when I booked it that it was about a 30 min drive from most of the things we wanted to do in Sandpoint, (which is where the rest of our family was staying) but that's on me. The owners were helpful. Overall a very positive experience.

Perfect in every way!

This is our second time staying here and definitely won’t be our last. We spent 2 days at Silverwood and then spent a day in Sandpoint at the city beach. It is such a beautiful area. The home is beautiful and has everything you would need. Mark and Melissa are wonderful! Thank you again for the stay!

Great trip!

Great house and great location! It was close to Silverwood which is where we spent most of our time and the property was beautiful. The kids loved “exploring”. The only thing that was a bit of a surprise is it’s actually a 2 bedroom and a loft. We would have preferred 3 bedrooms (with doors) but it worked out!

Thank you for the feedback Shalyn, I guess we refer to it as a bedroom based on the 600sq feet of living space and the on suite bathroom, walk-in in closet and laundry area. Sorry the pictures on our listing didn't do a better job of illustrating that. We will update those for next season. Mark

Very clean and quiet.

We enjoyed the house very much. It was clean when we arrived. Convenient to go the places we wanted to go. Liked that it was located away from other homes. We will probably be booking again for our next trip to silverwood. Just wish there was a sleeper sofa or daybed in the loft. It could accommodate our family a little better.

Nice, quiet location

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is new, clean and in a very quiet location. Mark was also very attentive to our questions which we appreciated. I only took off a star because there were a few minor hiccups due to the rental being so new. I have no doubt they will work them out like not having window coverings yet. If you're looking for a place on the south side of the Sandpoint area I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful!

We had a group of friends who decided to travel to Silverwood Theme Park on a long weekend. We wanted a place that was quiet and away from the area but close enough that we didn’t have a significant drive. This location was perfect. The cabin was down several private roads that made it very quiet and serene when we were ready to come home and relax but we were within 15 minutes of the park. Even being out of town there was rv and internet at the cabin. We were able to use the Traeger for an at home dinner and found a fully stocked kitchen which was wildly convenient! The AC kept us cool and the washer/dryer was great for convenience. This place was full of little conveniences that made the stay so enjoyable! We seriously are already considering coming back for a “stay in the cabin” vacation because we love the area so much and it was so enjoyable.

Great Escape from the City

So much better than a costly hotel! This home was well appointed and in a beautiful private location which gave us that escape from the city we were looking for. We saw dear and grouse daily on the drive into the house. The home accommodated our family of five very well, and gave each person their own bed. The best part of the house for me was drinking my morning coffee out on the deck and just soaking in all of the sounds of nature. We spent two days at Silverwood (15ish minute drive) and spent time down at Lake Coeur D'Alene (30ish minute drive) as well drove up to Wallace (80 minute drive) for the Blues Festival and a mine tour. There was plenty to do in this area. Our only regret is that we didn't have a few more days to spend to explore some more! No need to bring spices, paper towels and the basics, as this house has it all covered. Mark, the owner was very responsive before, during and after booking. Thank you for providing us a great rental experience!

Secluded and quiet, but close to everything

My family (2 adults & 3 kids) stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Silverwood, and it was lovely! Just a few minutes off the highway, but quiet and secluded. We saw deer and wild turkeys daily! Internet access was entirely serviceable, allowing us to stream a movie without issue. The hosts were incredibly conscientious. After arriving and unloading the car, we left again to hit the grocery store. Mark sent me a message because he was concerned we had left because of the not at all unreasonable noise of them finishing up some tractor work in the pole barn elsewhere on the property. I assured him that hadn't been the reason we left, but that he even thought of that was quite remarkable. One item worth noting is that the washer and dryer in the home is stacked, making the controls for the dryer (on top) too high for my 6-foot tall self to see fully. A little step stool in the laundry room would be a nice addition. My kids specifically asked us if we could stay in the same house on our next trip to Silverwood, and I loved coming "home" to such a peaceful setting, so we definitely plan to return!

Great property if you're looking for peace and quiet

We stayed for 4 days for our annual trip to Silverwood. We decided we wanted a change of pace and wanted out of Coeur d'Alene, so picked this property for its peace and quiet. The property itself was great. Enough room for us to spread out, nice quiet area. Relatively close to Silverwood also, which was nice, and since its on the north side of Silverwood theres not as much traffic to deal with. The space itself was very comfortable, with two full bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), a treadmill if you want to work out, and a stacked washer/dryer, with laundry detergent supplied. There was also a kitchen with everything you would need, other than food. We had some technology issues with both the internet as well as the TVs. Internet problem was telatively easily fixed, although the TV ptoblems persisted throughout our stay. The Direct TV worked ok though. Only other issue was with the great room and the afternoon sun. The lack of window coverings on the windows made the tv in the main room almost unusable in the afternoon, since the very bright sun shines directly on the TV. Lastly, the staircase is rather steep, and the bottom two steps seem to be unusually tall, so anyone with balance issues, be careful going upstairs. All in all, we absolutely loved the property, and look forward to visiting again! The host was gracious and helpful, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway!

Mark and Melissa's property was a perfect place for our family trip to Silverwood! Just a short drive from the house to the park. The house is FULLY stocked with everything you can think of from beach/park towels to the park souvenir cups that we brought with us for $.99 refills! It was nice to unwind with a beverage of choice while sitting on the back porch watching the deer and moose out at the pond. Mark was quick to respond with any questions. We have decided this will now be our annual Silverwood house! All the touches you guys have done with the house did not go unnoticed! Thanks for and awesome stay!

Fellas get together

We all had an awesome time!!! The property owners are on point. Very accommodating, helpful and super great folks. They stopped by to say hi and chit chat for a while. This place is very clean and organized. It was nice that the house has A/C also. Especially since it was in the 90’s when we were there. A ton of room for outside activities. Nothing bad to say at all. Would absolutely stay here again.

A great stay!

Mark, one half the owner of the VRBO where we stayed, was available for questions and was so helpful and friendly! He and his wife Melissa, have done a great job with this attractive property that’s located in a central location to activities; absolutely clean, nicely decorated (not so spartan it’s like a cell and not cluttered like the creepy doll room on the Geico commercial), easy to use modern appliances, easy to find extra linens, towels for Boulder Beach @ Silverwood/Lake Pend Oreille and a Traeger to bbq on. When we’re back in the area in a couple of years, we WILL be staying here and I’m passing on this VRBO info to friends and family! Great lodging, great people!

Awesome getaway out in the woods!

We had a great time at Mark and Melissa’s property. The decor was fabulous and it felt like a cozy little retreat out in God’s country, away from the shootings in Chicago! Everything you could possibly need was supplued. We HIGHLY recommend this property. Melissa was so friendly and helpful with tips on places to go etc.

Perfect secluded escape

Mark & Melissa have created the perfect, private escape for families visiting Silverwood or one of the many nearby lakes. The cabin is secluded with beautiful, rustic furnishings and has the perfect touch of comfort and elegance. A wall of windows provides a view of a meadow and pond/wetlands with mountains behind. We saw wild turkey and deer. We even did some stargazing on the deck while sharing a bottle of wine after a day at Silverwood. Perfect relaxing end to a busy fun-packed day. Marc stopped by to check in with us the morning we were leaving. We enjoyed visiting with a cup of coffee and sharing stories. We would love to come back some day and do it again.

Great Family Trip

The house was beautiful. Mark made sure we were well set up for our extra two guests. Waking up to the beautiful landscape and the wildlife every morning was a good experience for our young nephews. Close to everything but not in the city. The horse shoe pit was a pleasant surprise. We loved being able to grill our food, it’s our favorite thing to do in the summer. We would stay against. We didn’t even notice that the owners were on property during our stay.

Much more than expected!

Everything was amazing from beginning to end. Only thing we didn't like was we had to leave such a beautiful place. We were more than impressed with our stay. The home is amazing the second you walk through the door to watching the stars at night. The little touches were great also (signs in bathroom) haha. We didn't feel we needed to ask for anything while we were there. Location was great for our daily trips around the area. Everything we needed to makes any meal was at the ready. I enjoyed the kitchen so much I went right to the store when we arrived so I could make a home made dinner for everyone. Then we watched the stars. Seen some deer in the am and afternoon a few days. We loved the peace and beauty. And the sunsets were amazing. We highly recommend.
