Welcome to paradise!!! Dover Bay is a lake focused community just 3 miles west of Sandpoint Idaho. USA today named Sandpoint one of the top 10 picture perfect mountain towns and a Norman Rockwell meets Ansel Adams Classic. A four seasons town with so much to offer.
This gorgeous 2 bed 2 bath 1700 sq ft cabin is perfect for the family that wants all the conveniences of home. We have designed this cabin as our second home not as a rental. Stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances with gas range and all the small appliances you would expect. The dining room has enough room to seat 8 comfortably.
The master bedroom and bath are both tastefully decorated. King size bed and frame recently added. The en-suite has granite counters with double sinks. Two separate shower heads in the huge walk-in shower are spa like. Full access to the large patio from master as well.
The second bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds that's sleep 3. Double on bottom and single on top. Great room for the kids or a large group.
The second bath contains a shower/tub and full washer and dryer.
The living room has an HD TV with full cable/Netflix and wireless internet. Great open concept floor plan for the perfect family vacation.
The outside wrap around 3 sided deck is where we spend most of our time with more than 800 sq ft of covered deck space. Outside seating for 6 and some comfy loungers to enjoy the fire. The deck can be accessed from 4 entry points throughout the home. The outdoor fireplace is heaven on those cool nights and the gas BBQ complete a great and spacious outdoor space.
Dover Bay also has a full marina, restaurant/bar, store, (with beer sales) canoe, kayak, paddle board rentals, tennis courts etc. They also just started renting motor boats a few seasons ago with many options. Pontoon/ski boats etc. This is all within a 5 min walk from the home. There are more than 9 miles of hiking and biking trails throughout the community and even a fully paved biking/running path all the way to Standpoint if you are feeling adventurous. (3 miles to downtown) We purchased two cruiser bikes for your use as well. You can park the car on arrival and not touch it again until you leave if you so desire.

If its winter that you prefer Schweitzer (14 miles door to door) was just named in the Top 10 best ski towns in the west by Sunset Magazine. With more than 2900 acres of ski-able terrain and close to 2500 ft of vertical drop Schweitzer has something for everyone. If you are into cross country skiing there is more than 40 km of trails to choose from. A true 4 seasons resort with mountain biking and zip lining in the summer as well.
