A gas fireplace and wood paneling, as well as quality furnishings, provide exceptional comfort. The best part, though, is such great access to outdoor activities!

This condo is a short drive from Donner Lake, where you can enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, and many other water activities on a sunny day. There is also a picnic area with outdoor games within walking distance, as well as tennis courts. Golfers have a choice of two courses nearby, and hikers will find plenty of trails in the surrounding wilderness.

Nice place, but issues

Hi,My original Vrbo wasn’t available as of the night prior. I was relocated, not too far and nice.It was surface cleaned, but it needs a deep clean.We tried to use the oven & it smoked us out of the house during preheat.We dropped something down the sofa and it was hard to find, after moving it, we fed. But under the sofa was disgusting, it has been months since it was cleaned.The fire stick for tv never worked, needs replacing. We figured that out because my friend’s fire stick did work.Communication was great in the beginning. But as issues came up, it was radio silent. I had to reach out to Vacasa to get any results.The house itself was nice, roomy and comfortable.It need better management.

This one story condo was the perfect size for 4. The condo stays pretty cool if closed up on a hot day...the fans helped too. The HOA Pool was the perfect temperature and an enjoyable refreshing experience.

Great house and great location

The house is as described, with big rooms, a lot of storage and very clean location is perfect, super close to shopping plaza and easy access to highway 80 the master bed mattress needs to be replaced as it collapsed in the center Highly recommended house

Snowbound

Unit not clean when we arrived. No garage door opener that we could use and 10 digit code to get inside .TV with very limited access . Other units we have stayed at Boulders had better equipped kitchens and pantries

Great Ski Condo

We loved staying here for our family winter ski trip. The place was cozy, had everything we needed and was close to Alpine, Squaw and downtown Truckee. We couldn’t figure out the Netflix streaming but had fun watching the dvds after a fun day on the mountain. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice… but needs some fixes and tlc

First, please know I just want to put the info out there. Not mad, not needing anything (refund, reply, etc.) I just know if I owned this cute place, or was about to book… I would want the info. Roomy and close to everything!!. Nice quiet area and great for 3 of us who were out all day. I was disappointed in a few things… cabinet under kitchen sink had a panel missing… so looked shabby. Figure that’s a quick fix and may already be scheduled to be repaired. The the carpets are thread bare and stained in areas (one area was so thin with a rip in it I almost tripped when my foot slid under that material - it’s right outside the master bedroom… so please be careful!) I am sure that this will be addressed asap. Seriously this could be bad. Everything else is nice enough and loved the height of the mb vanity. Nice granite counters and was so surprised and happy there were bath soaps/shampoo/conditioner samples. Nice touch. The towels were nice, the sheets comfy and thick. No air conditioning so the place was quiet warm (July) until the sun was down and could open the windows. There were fans available. There were beach towels and 2 beach chairs if heading to the lake. We brought our own… but was so nice there had them. There was no patio furniture. It would have been nice to be able to eat /have coffee outside where it was cool and quiet. I was pretty sure there was a table and chairs in the pictures when I looked to book the place? The pool was nice. Very blue and clean… workout /cardio room was clean and not busy… but we had to call and wait to get an access card delivered for the pool that was not left in the unit. Not a big deal for us with an older kiddo … but might have been tough with young kiddos waiting to go to the pool. (To be fair it was less than 90 mins after we called… but again we had to figure out what to do). This also may have been due to restrictions just opening up and the pass may have been overlooked since not available for a long time. The kitchen has appliances needed if you want to cook… but not a lot of spoons… one cutting board but lots of coffee mugs, plates, glasses. The dining room table was super wobbly… but realized the leg screws were all loose. We hand tightened them and was all fine… maybe last renters were being “funny”? There is a pop corn maker and popcorn so a nice touch if you like movies. There are a ton of vhs and dvds… but no vhs player? The tv is very small in the living room. There are no other tvs. That was a plus for us… since not watching a lot while there… but if was there in the winter… after skiing… would want to unwind with a cocktail and tv. We might just be old:) but very hard to see on the screen so small and far away. And no place to let kiddo watch his programs if we watched in the living room. Again not a big deal for us… but might be for others. The game box needs to be cleaned out and redone. Games, puzzles everywhere, an old sock and hair band… ick! but not a single deck of cards. Another odd & uncomfortable thing… in the master bath, there is only a cloth curtain separating the toilet and shower from the master bedroom. So if you actually don’t mind doing your business within ear shot of your partner and only emit rose scented items (like me-ha) this is not a good set up. (A pocket door maybe wouldn’t be a tough remedy? ) On a good note… super tall shower head in a very nice shower… and the water heats up nicely. The deal breaker for us was the master bed. It has a topper on it but sags as if your 900 lb uncle has slept in it for weeks. I love my hubby… but rolling into each other every night to the middle of the bed and not getting enough sleep was not okay on our vacation. I had read a review about the bed… a...

Ok, TV is small (computer monitor) given room size and carpets have stains. I do understand it's a rental. The maid service or previous occupants left heat on at 86 in 90 degree weather for some crazy reason. Make sure you check air and turn up the hot water heater. Lastly, I accidentally left a sports coat and shirt hanging in closest. A lost and found ticket was established on the day of check out for a fee. I went back to property the following day and the items were removed by maid service. I have placed 3 status call requests to Vacasa after waiting patiently for the past 3 days. Hopefully an update will be provided soon. The customer service experience for lost and found is rather disappointing.

Great location, wonderful pool and townhouse community

We loved staying here. The condo has a nice layout with all of the necessary ammenities. It was very clean and the vacasa checkin and check out process was very easy. Unfortunately the beds, especially the master was pretty worn out. There was a pad on top that made us roll into each other. Took that off and it was better. The other bed was on the soft side as well. If the mattresses were better and a few more fans available (it was in the low 90's in Truckee), it would be perfect. Great pizza place, grocery, drug store, brew pub, bike shop and more all within walking distance. Walking and biking to downtown Truckee not really feasible as it's along the highway, busy road with no path, but just a five minute drive. The pool area is awesome!!!

Nice condo could use some attention

The location and decor of the condo is great. However, the master bedroom mattress sinks in the middle and my husband had to sleep on the couch (it's OK for one person). Also, we had no hot water, and the toaster didn't work properly. This would be a great place with a little TLC. It's been over two weeks and we have not had a response from the local property manager about these inconveniences.

Short Getaway

The property was as described, however there are a few issues that should be addressed. The TV was difficult to use (no cable), the slider door does not slide, and lastly the garage door remote does not work.

Good with caveats

Was not told that workmen would be starting work right outside our bedroom window every morning at 7 am. Impossible to sleep in at all. Pool and hot tub were still closed despite COVID restrictions being lifted some time ago. Was not told going in that the water heater thermostat needed to be turned up to get a hot shower; after two cold showers, investigated for myself and found instructions on the water heater cabinet door for what to do. Should have been told beforehand that that would need to be done. Both bedroom mattresses need replacing, especially the master. It sags in the middle and woke me up in the middle of the night every night so I could climb out of the middle of the bed. The condo itself was in excellent shape, very clean and with good amenities, and in a good location relative to town, lake, grocery store, etc.

Nice and clean, great location

Place as advertised. Great location and easy check-in/check-out. Similar to other comments, we thought the beds were uncomfortable and the couch was showing age. Not deal breakers though. Would have been nice to have detergent for washing machine.

Great location!

Great home and location for a weekend ski trip. Conveniently close to shops and restaurants in Truckee and close to highway 89 to get to resorts like Squaw and Alpine where we go. Clean, spacious. Nice to have access to the community hot tub too.
