This beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is your perfect base for experiencing all the best that North Lake Tahoe has to offer, from year round outdoor recreation to dining and shopping in historic downtown Truckee.

The condo comfortably sleeps six, with 2 full bedrooms and a converted study with 2 bunk beds serving as a 3rd bedroom. It's a great space for families and kids. It also features wireless internet, gas fireplace, full kitchen, hardwood floors, washer-drier, outdoor grill, and a spacious living area. The unit is available for weekend, short-term, long-term, and vacation rentals.

The complex also has a community pool (summer only), spa and workout room, horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court, bocce, and outdoor grills and benches.

Within a 3-minute walk are a pizza restaurant, Chinese food restaurant, grocery store, drug store, laundromat and several other restaurants. Downtown Truckee, with its shops and restaurants, is just a 3-minute drive away. The north shore of Lake Tahoe is a quick 15-20 minute drive to the south, and Reno is only 35-40 minutes east.

Ski resorts within a 25-minute drive include: Sugar Bowl, Squaw Valley, Northstar, Homewood, Alpine Meadows, Donner Ski Ranch, Mt. Rose, Tahoe Donner, and Royal Gorge (cross-country only).

Perfect ski getaway

Well-maintained property in an excellent location. Spacious and bright. Very well stocked kitchen and the kids loved the games cabinet. Owner was easy to communicate with and all instructions were clear. We were very happy with our stay!

Good location

The location is very convenient, it avoids some traffic if you want to go to Palisades and there is a gated garage so you car will not be buried in snow the next morning.

Wonderful stay

The home is very cozy and comfortable. Great location, easy to find. Seamless check/check out. We had a minor issue with the heater, everything worked out and Tom was extremely responsive and available to help. Would 100% stay there again!

Truckee Family Gathering

This unit was perfect for our family! It had ample room for our family of 5. Perfect location for ski weekend and it was very clean and comfortable. It was well appointed with everything we needed. Wonderful!

Comfortable Spacious Clean

The property was an excellent and comfortable stay for two families of three, with elementary school kids. Very homey touches and loved the record player and albums and board games. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Quiet location and near to grocery and Truckee conveniences.

Love Truckee for ski getaway

This rental is a great home away from home. It has all the necessities and way more. Two disappointments with the stay: one could not park in the garage and the hot tube did not work. The kitchen was very well stocked and had small necessities provided like salt, pepper and spices. Very open and alot of natural light with all the windows. Great location within walking distance of stores, restaurants and brewery. Downtown Truckee is less than 10 minutes away and is a GREAT little town. We will definitely be back.

Well-appointed, cozy, nice layout

We stayed for three nights at this lovely upstairs condo in a quiet complex. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed (e.g. pans, spices, sugar, pepper grinder, toaster oven, French press). The jetted-tub in the Master bathroom was an added bonus after a full day on the slopes. The fireplace added ambiance and warmth to the common area. There was one car spot in front of the single garage, which was not available for our stay Feb 2024. Laundry (full sized washer and dryer) is inside the condo. Very easy to tidy up and checkout. We loved our stay! I am sure you will too!

Perfect Package

This condo was perfect for our family. We had an extremely last minute booking thanks to a change in plans, and were so lucky to find this listing. The 8 year old liked the bunk beds, and the baby had his own space, which was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and such so that we could cook. We couldn't hear any neighbors around us. The accommodations were comfortable, the temperature was easily controlled and maintained. The owner, Tom, was great at responding when I had questions. Overall, a great experience. We will be back next year with Grandma and Grandpa.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay

We just returned from a week at this condo. This was our second stay here. The place has everything you need: great kitchen tools for lots of cooking, all of the supplies you need (that you take for granted until you rent a place without them: ziploc bags, cooking oils and spices, food storage containers, coffee filters, back up supply of paper towels, shampoo and conditioner, etc.) The beds are comfortable, my teens loved playing the games in the game closet, we had access to all of the streaming channels we love, and access to a pool/hot tub/weight room to boot. My extended family rented a unit in the same complex so we could meet up and vacation together without being crowded. It was ideal. We are already planning on booking again for next year.

The unit was clean but a few things..the refrigerator didnt work. No ice or water the garbage disposable was not working.the patio was filthy..cobwebs every where,the bbq was full of cobwebs . We had to wipe down the outside handrails.coming up to the unit. Really gave a bad first impression .we checked in after dark & with no porch light it was very hard to see. was very hard to open the lockbox. The unit was stocked nicely. The hottub had a funky odor so we didn't use it.but once.

Excellent stay

Well appointed 3 bedroom with one bedroom a bunk room. Great puzzles, games, fireplace & TV. Good spices and knives and plenty of flatware and plates, etc. plus all the pots and pans needed to cook in. Also close to plenty of restaurants and skiing. Look forward to staying again.

Great condo, great location, great host

We absolutely loved the condo: specious, clean, 2 king size beds!, listed as a 2 bedroom, but is actually a 3 bedroom condo! Great to accommodate 2 families with kids, plus you won't have to fight over the bedroom with the larger bed, 3rd bedroom has 2 bunk beds. Shops, restaurants and ski resorts are minutes away. The owner is very responsive, easy to talk to, just overall a great host. We absolutely loved our stay and will try to book this place again in the near future.

Just like home

The quality of this condo was fantastic. It felt just like home, from the plush towels and linens to the best stocked kitchen and game cabinet I have ever seen. It was like staying at a friend's house, not just a rental. My young boys loved the puzzles and toys, and the high chair and child's toilet seat were a bonus. We loved walking along the path to downtown Truckee (just over a mile) and the surrounding area had plenty of hiking and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your space, we can tell it is well loved!

Just what I expected, perfect

Property was clean, spacious, and perfect for my family’s mini holiday. Though not located in the immediate vicinity of Lake Tahoe, this was known when booking and not an issue. Everything we wanted to do and where we wanted to visit was amazingly convenient and just minutes away. Downtown Truckee was an enjoyable and quick bike ride from the front door. Much better to save money on a location in beautiful Truckee with money to spare to do fun things in Tahoe or surrounding area. :) Home was more spacious than I expected. The kitchen and living area were suitable for 2-3 families to comfortably enjoy. Hot tub was a great amenity and perfect for relaxing. My teenage daughter fell in love with the record player and playing DJ with the eclectic mix of provided albums. There were a few very minor issues with the condition of unit at the time of check-in but the owner communicated them in advance and was amazingly receptive to any needs and concerns we communicated. Truly became a home to my family during our visit. Was genuinely hard to say goodbye and leave this sanctuary in Truckee behind.

Wonderful old-fashioned fun and easy stay!

We loved this place so much! We are not super skiing family, so being in Truckee, being able to play board games, hang in the hot tub, let kids collect pine cones, make a snowman, enjoy records, and enjoy the cute decor of the place. This place is totally set up for children, and we don't want to spoil and charm or surprises, but my kids are readers and they loved finding some children's books. The parking was easy, and we loved Planet kids, soda springs, and the snow park by Borreal. we didn't make it to the children's museum, but it leaves things to be explored. Was so fun to go in the spring as there is snow, but it was an easy drive and snow around still. It even snowed for one magical day! Plus indulged in chinese food at Wong's! Thank you, we can't way to stay again!!!!

Spacious condo with all the amenties and great location!

Me and some friends spent a long weekend at the condo and absolutely loved it. Easily accessible right off the 80 and just a 20 min drive to Squaw and Alpine where we had planned to ski. Loved having access to a spa right off the deck and a garage to park the second car. The layout was nice and spacious and the kitchen had all the amenities you needed for cooking up breakfast before hitting the slopes. Just a 5-7 min drive to downtown Truckee where we did some shopping and had dinner. Plus Safeway and Starbucks are just around the corner. Tom was super responsive to last minute questions. We hope that this place is available on our next trip as we would love to stay here again! Thanks Tom!

Perfect Truckee condo getaway

We had an amazing time in this condo - it is perfectly situated close to downtown Truckee and close to Northstar and Squaw. It's very quiet, has a great hot tub and the kitchen and bedrooms were super clean and well-appointed. The master bathroom is huge! It was perfect for two couples and we didn't even use the extra room that had bunk beds in it - would be great for kids. An excellent spot, and the host was so helpful and great. We will definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful, convenient condo

We loved the kitchen and the comfy beds in this well-located condo. Quite spacious and well-stocked with great basics cooking! It was also close to XC skiing and various North Lake ski resorts. We'd love to stay again and are definitely keeping this as a "favourite" on our list for Tahoe!

Perfect unit for our family!

We loved the layout of his unit! With the double set of bunk beds in the back room, this unit could easily accommodate 8 people. The comfortable living/kitchen quarters served as the center of activity, yet any one of us could easily retreat into one of 3 surrounding bedrooms for peace and quiet if needed. Tom was awesome... he consistently and patiently responded to all our questions regarding hikes and things to do. Since we were there on the 4th, crowds were plentiful on the Tahoe beaches which is why the pool and hot tub were especially appreciated. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Well Equipped and Convenient

We booked this condo for a last minute Thanksgiving stay. It was a great layout for our family, it was well stocked with everything we needed, and the location was great. We could walk to the grocery store for last minute items we needed, and it was a quick drive to all the places we visited (Downtown Truckee, Northstar, and Squaw Valley). I can definitely see us booking it again!

We are two families who live in the Sacramento and Bay Area and love to escape to the Sierra for hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and fishing, among other activities.

Truckee offers a perfect combination of everything the Tahoe area has to offer: small-town, old-west feel; immediate and easy access to lakes, hiking, skiing, fishing and so many other recreation options; both relaxed and fine dining options, and an easy drive from S.F., Sacramento, or Reno.

The location is just seconds from the freeway, yet it is extremely quiet. It's centrally located: all the North Shore ski areas are within 15 minutes, and charming downtown Truckee is a 3-minute drive (or quick summer bike ride) away.

The condo itself has a very private master bed and bath and a spacious common area for kids' activities, meals, and relaxation. The other side has two bedrooms, making it a perfect spot for two families, or for kids and parents to have their own areas.

Having a grocery store, drug store, and several restaurants a block away means we can spend a weekend without driving if we want.
Donner Lake is just a few minutes away, and is a perfect spot for family outings, summer or winter.
