Large Charming Home Surrounded by a Vineyard with Pool & Hottub

Stay in a vineyard in the heart of the Sonoma Valley wine country. Large custom home surrounded by 8 of the acres planted Pinot Noir vines. This all 1 level home flows seamlessly room to room offering oak & tile floors. Large master suite wing with private patio & fire table. Newly built are a large pool with a 25m swim lane and a hot tub surrounded by a large outdoor patio with a seating area and another fire table.
Views galore of vineyards, lawns, raised garden beds & surrounding vistas. The home has been furnished with charming antique furniture that has been in our family for generations giving it a flair of nostalgia. There is a large kitchen with various amenities, such as a dishwasher, double ovens, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. A sunroom provides a great hangout protected from the environment while also enjoying the outdoors. Two bedrooms contain queen beds, the master bedroom has a king size bed and the 4th bedroom has a double bed and daybed (twin size). A Pack and Play is available for those traveling with young children. You are welcome to snack from the raised garden beds and fruit trees in the fenced yard. Outdoor parking is available for at least 4 cars on the property.

The property is located within walking distance of Robledo Vineyards and a short drive to many other award winning wineries. It is a short 10 minute drive from the Sonoma Town Square and Downtown Sonoma, and a 15 minute drive to Sonoma Raceway. Both Petaluma and Napa are a convenient 25 minute drive and San Francisco is about a 50 minute drive depending on traffic.

Please note that the house is on a property surrounded by a working vineyard and that the vineyard is off limits.

Fantastic House, Awesome Hosts, Great Location

The house had everything we needed, so much room. The hosts are great communicators, answered our questions very quickly, and even included a complimentary bottle of wine! We were close to everything, Uber/Lyft dropped us right at the gate. We had a great time at this location.

Everything was perfect! Loved the location and setting. Very clean and very well stocked. Would definitely stay again. Only criticism is that it is advertised as a 3 bath when it really is 2 1/2 baths.

Get Away Vacation

This property was immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated. We celebrated my bff's 50 birthday here. The house was perfect. Just a few minutes drive to Sonoma Plaza where we had dinner, cheese and wine tastings. I I highly recommend this property is top notch! I would love to come back with my family!

Sail and Anchor Vineyard Getaway

Upon entering the home, we saw a message board welcoming us to the Sail and Anchor Vineyard along with a bottle of wine. The property description doesn't even come close to all the extras the house has to offer. We had seven adults staying in the house and had more than enough room. The dining room table fit all of us very comfortably and the table in the sunroom was an added bonus with a beautiful view of the vineyard to enjoy with our morning coffee.. The side yard had raised garden beds with patio chairs and a barbecue that we enjoyed especially at night with the hanging lights; a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. There were some minor setbacks but Nicky's response quickly responded to the issues. We were so pleased with the home and marveled at the beautiful furniture. Thank You James and Nicky for welcoming us to your home!

Wunderbar

Lovely, homely great setting in wine country, close to Sonoma civic center. Hosts Nicky and James are very responsive. We regret that we could not stay on for a few extra days. All five of us in the family loved it. Only negative - check on your cleaners, some areas in the house were NOT cleaned and it showed.

Excellent fit for out family

We had our out-of-town adult children home for a few days and needed a place to stay that was bigger than our house. This was absolutely bigger - nearly triple! So much room and every amenity we could ask for. Very responsive owners. Just a beautiful property!

Anniversary weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Could definitely see us extending to a week vacation. The gardens and lush landscaping make such a serene and relaxing atmosphere, sunrise and after dark. Location allowed for bike ride adventure through the vineyards into Sonoma. Hot tub was icing on the cake. Thank you!

What a great place

This was, without a doubt, the highlight of our week in Northern California. The home is very comfortable and perfectly situated for easy access to Sonoma and Napa. We enjoyed fresh tomatoes from the garden and views of the adjoining vineyard. Very peaceful. Look forward to staying here again.

The property was perfect for our group of six to visit wine country. James & Nicky were very easy to work with and very responsive. The house was beautiful, clean and very large and welcoming.

Mid-Winter Break Escape

After spending most of the last year at home, our family was ready for an adventure! There was a lot we wanted to safely see in Nor Cal and so we decide Sonoma would be the best spot. We loved our stay at this home! There was plenty of space for the 7 of us. The home was very clean upon our arrival and we appreciated the welcome sign and wine! My mom and I felt like we had ample space and we were very comfortable. My 3 kids and my 2 nieces had the best time exploring the expansive outdoor spaces and splashing around in the hot tub. We would definitely choose to stay at this property again! It is close to Sonoma Plaza and less than an hour to SF. The Overlook Trail was a great activity to do with my kids and we felt very COVID-safe as we passed many local residents wearing masks along the trail. In addition, this home is accessible (my oldest daughter has physical limitations due to her rare disease) and we had no problems navigating throughout. If you are looking for a place to stay close to vineyards and near the center of Sonoma, then this place is perfect!!

50th Birthday Celebration

A small group of 6 ladies (friends & family) spent the weekend at the beautiful vineyard home. The house was nice and clean and well equipped to accommodate the need for social distancing. The beds are comfortable and the decor is welcoming and warm. We hope to do it again during a more verdant season when the backyard gardens are in bloom and the grapevines are full. Spacious Home in Beautiful Setting

We were looking for a place in the wine country that could accommodate four adults in separate bedrooms. This vacation home was perfect for our group friend. It's open and spacious, and has all the amenities you could possibly want. We really couldn't even take advantage of everything, since we only stayed for 2 nights. The screened in porch is lovely and would be an awesome place to hang out on a warm summer evening. It's the perfect "base" to relax and for exploring Sonoma and Napa Valley. The property is a short drive away from the town of Sonoma and sits in the middle of a vineyard. It's quiet and picturesque. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with. The house itself was impeccably clean. The kitchen was stocked with the basic spices, tea, and coffee. All the appliances were pretty new and worked great. My suggestion to the hosts - I'd recommend upgrading the queen bed in the master to a king size bed, and also replace the two rather uncomfortable couches in the family room next to the kitchen with something more comfortable. It would be more fun for people to hang out while cooking. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place to friends. Thank you for your hospitality, Nicky & James!

Spacious Sonoma Home

We loved this house! It was perfect for our long weekend with our kids and two little grandkids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and we also appreciated the high chair and pack n play that was at the house. It was great to have a big lawn for the kids to run and explore. Thank you so much for making your home available on VRBO! We would definitely rent this home again! Thanks for the wine!

Perfect Getaway

We had such a great time at this property and enjoyed our weekend celebrating a bachelorette party. We really loved the enclosed patio, the garden and the quietness of the location. The owners were very responsive to any of the questions we had and were so kind to leave us a bottle of wine and gave us grapes from the vineyard around the house. It was a perfect weekend! Summer getaway

We loved how private the property was, in the sense that we were away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There were so many areas to relax, whether it was in the garden picking fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables; playing on the grass outside; relaxing on the patio or the sun room; or in the hot tub. We needed this getaway during Covid-19 and are very grateful to have stumbled upon this property. We would certainly return if the opportunity presented itself again.
