Wonderful Stay

Perfect family vacation!!

Our family of 10 had a great time staying here. Itā€™s about 60 minutes from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. We spent three days exploring Glacier, and another day riding the Whitefish Alpine slides and playing at the ski resort. A perfect home away from home!!

Great house to accommodate a large group.

We stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time. Easy to check in and check out. Very prompt response with a slight water heater issue. Had to walk about 30feet to click on skis and a closet ski up to condo. I would recommend and stay again.

Not your dream vacation

The location is great, with easy access to ski in/out. The property itself is pretty dated though. If you are expecting a dream vacation, this is not the place. This is more like visiting your grandparents cottage; things are fine, but you need to make it work for you. I would say the experience doesn't quite match the price tag.

I called and sent pictures of the grill that did not work only had fire in a couple places could not cook on it our steaks cost more than the grill and had to cook them on the stove I called The Host and they got back with me 3 days later the grill was not fixed when I left other than that I was very pleased with the place with everything about it I

Great Ski In and Out

The property is the perfect size for our group, with plenty of sleeping room and space to congregate in the morning for breakfast before hitting the slopes. Nice and easy to depart from the house and get back to at the end of the day. One of our favorite spots to stay on the Mountain. The kitchen could use some additional supplies, and we notified property management during our stay that some cooking items were missing, unfortunately it wasn't remedied prior to our departure. But they did acknowledge the issue promptly, and we would hope that it gets taken care of for the next guests.

Would rent again after some things would change

Location was ā€œokayā€ for a ski in ski out. Only if that run was open and if you have experienced skiers. Spacious, full bathroom in every room. Didnā€™t have hot water for our entire stay, didnā€™t have a book on where things were located, or how to contact for help. Would have preferred the check out process available at the house. I received one text at the beginning of the stay with a tiny bit of info and when we had already left the house when they text additional check out requests which we didnā€™t do because it wasnā€™t in the original text for check out.

Lovely mountain location

Overall we loved the place. Water was like warm at best when we could get it to be something other than cold. Texting with customer service was easy and fast, however no one responded to multiple days and requests for the water to be looked at until Troy came on duty. He called me first thing Friday morning and came over to check it out. Unfortunately he was unable to fix it and had to call for service and they cannot get here till Tuesday. So we spent 6 of our 7 days playing the game of jumping in and out of cold showers. We very much appreciated Troy and him responding to us

Affordable option for budget minded groups

Communication with Vacasa was fine. Property is well located on Big Mountain. Nice to have a garage. House interior needs updating. Carpet is dirty and house has a musty smell. Furnishings are old and uncomfortable. Kitchen accessories a hodgepodge of cheap, seemingly left over items. Cell phone coverage is weak, but the WiFi was strong and reliable. Plan to bring almost everything--salt, pepper, etc. They did provide soap and dish soap. The home is large with lots of beds for big groups. Brand new full-size washer and dryer was nice. Would recommend for families on a budget.

Good location, condo was fine

The condo was pretty spacious for our group of 6. We were able to walk down to the base easily to get our skis. The kitchen was not very well appointed- the glasses were just a little larger than a shot glass so we had to bring in larger cups. There was only one wine glass and one champagne flute. They left us no trash bags or dish soap- we had to borrow from the neighbor. Overall it was a perfectly fine place to stay, affordable, spacious and close to the home again run. Vacasa should encourage the owners to spend a few bucks on upgrading the kitchenware, maybe dump some non working remotes, buy a couple tvs from this decade and maybe ditch the dusty fake flowers all over the place. It would not take much effort or expense to make that place much better!

Layout is great

The house is amazing. It has a great layout with tons of beds in each room for big families to ski in ski out was really nice as well. If I had to criticize anything, I would say they donā€™t have very many pots or cans to cook with although they do have lots of other dishes and the beds are really uncomfortable. Even the master other than that the house was great. We had a great stay.

Great location with it being a true ski in ski out. Wish the hot tub was a bit bigger. For the price point and what the house offers, I'd rent again.

Lots of room - True Ski In/Ski Out.

For skiers it is hard to beat the location next to Home Again run. You can be on Chair 6 at the Base Lodge in 10 minutes. 4 Couples can stay there comfortably. Each bedroom has a private bathroom plus a 1/2 bath next to the kitchen. Beautiful views of the mountain.

Excellent stay with family

I have not stayed in this neighborhood previously and I really enjoyed the location. Close to everything but distant enough to feel quasi private/family oriented. Easy enough to walk to the base lodge. Some wear and tear in the property, but not enough to distract from the great stay. thank you.
