Thank you for being our guests at Highland Huckleberry Lodge and for taking time to review your stay. As is the case with many mountain homes, central air conditioning is not standard and many homes rely on the cool mountain air to keep the home cool. As you note, Highland Huckleberry has air conditioning in all the bedrooms and the main gathering area so the home stays very comfortable if the temperature rises. We appreciate your note about the smell in the bathroom and the basement - we have not had that issue previously so we would love to have had the opportunity to address it during your stay. We're so happy that you found the beds comfortable, the home well stocked, and the view beautiful and hope to have the opportunity to host you again.
