Luxury at it's finest! Penthouse unit overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!

Beautiful Okaloosa Island is a great place to vacation with your family and friends. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough to just hop in the car and head out for some good food, great shopping and fun nightlife!! Close to the Gulfarium, Wild Willie's Adventure Zone, Destin’s Harbor Walk Village, The Big Kahuna water park, The Track where you can play putt putt or drive go karts & other great attractions in Destin and Ft. Walton.

Our Penthouse Unit is located on the 6th floor. Ocean Front (directly on the beach) with amazing views of the Gulf. Completely redecorated with brand new furniture, full size (large capacity) washer and dryer off the kitchen, updated decor, curtains, comforters and fresh paint in all rooms. Sip your morning coffee or enjoy a cocktail on our large balcony (with Polywood furniture), which can be accessed from the Master Bedroom and Living Room. Our fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and everything you’ll need to prepare meals. Each bedroom has a King Size Bed with plenty of room to spare. We have a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with a 4" memory foam mattress. There is also a portable crib with a memory foam mattress (sheet and blanket provided). We wanted to ensure a good nights sleep for everyone!!

Water’s Edge has 2 swimming pools, one of which is heated and a workout room. The elevator is located right outside our unit which makes unpacking the car a lot easier.

There is a sidewalk adjacent to the property for you to get in that morning bike ride, jog or just take a walk and enjoy the beauty of Okaloosa Island!

Beach Service Included for each day of your stay (March 1 - October 31).

It was such a joy to be able to walk out to the beach where chairs and umbrellas sat waiting! The access to large pool was great as well. And being able to retreat back to the condo itself was great. It was comfortable and well put together to make for a wonderful visit!

Great condo

Beautiful condo right on the beach. This condo has spices and alot of other start up items. The only thing we disliked about the condo was the camera in the master bedroom. It is behind the slider curtain and facing the water but the presence of it made us feel a little uncomfortable otherwise everything else was beautiful.

Great Place

Very nice condo in a quiet part of the area. Lots of supplies and beach toys in the unit. Amazing view! A few things to be aware of - only one of the bathrooms is connected directly to a bedroom, the grills are charcoal only, and the elevator is close but was out of order several times during our stay. Overall, we would stay here again!

Amazing Condo

We just spent a week in this beautiful condo with my elderly parents, my small family, and my sister’s small family. The condo is beautiful and clearly recently updated, and room enough for our extended family to stay together. The owners were very communicative and helpful and we had zero issues. Although we’ve come to Destin our whole lives, this is our first time staying in Fort Walton and it was fantastic. Much less traffic, and the beaches didn’t feel as overcrowded as Destin has felt the last few years. I can’t praise this location enough. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Getaway

The property is better than how it is listed. My family and another family stayed here for a week over the 4th of July. The beach is always crowded during that time of year but this location was one of the best areas we've seen on holiday weeks. It is a very short walk down to the beach, definitely one of our favorite reasons why we loved this place. Everything we needed was available in the condo as well, including boogie boards, floats, beach chairs, and a beach wagon/cart. The owner was very responsive any time we had a question or concern and was always willing to help! We will be booking this condo the next time we come to FWB as well as recommending to our friends that visit the area!

Great Condo for a Family Vacation!

This was our second trip to Fort Walton Beach and first time staying at Waters Edge! This place and condo was perfect for 3 couples (us and our parents) and our 2 children to stay! Each couple had their own bathrooms and the kids had bunk beds to sleep. Wonderful view, huge pool, easy beach access, easy parking and plenty of it, and the hosts were wonderful and easy to contact! The kitchen had what we needed to cook in. Great restaurants nearby. The beach is super clean and the chair/umbrella rental that comes with your stay was a nice addition to our rental. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again if visiting the area.

Wedding Getaway

We used our stay to get married, not only was the beach itself an option, but there is a nice area next to the pool and a larger public access area where we could be covered. This unit was amazing, being on the sixth floor we had wonderful views, and the balcony area was quite large and perfect for just relaxing. We did have ten people so it was a little cramped, but with the balcony it was not uncomfortable. Building location was amazing, far enough away from the bridge that traffic was not bad and the beach was not as crowded. Host was extremely helpful, communicated with me the day we arrived and allowed us in a little early when the cleaners were done. Any time I had a question, I could just text and get a very quick response. Overall a great place to stay! We would definitely return (with a few less people!)

Beautiful View

Great property for an extended family stay! The kids loved the hallway bunk, the view on the balcony was beautiful. Having a pack and play with memory foam mattress and coolers and beach stuff there for the kids was so nice! Indred was great at communicating and was always available to answer any questions we had! We enjoyed our stay :)

Great place to stay

We had a fantastic time. The condo was very welcoming and had a beautiful ocean front view. Loved being able to drink my morning coffee with the ocean in clear view. The condo owner was great and answered any and all questions I had timely. Definitely will be booking again.

Loved the layout for our family of 10

The condo was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The large balcony was wonderful for having breakfast and watching dolphins and watching the sunset. The unit could use some upgrades and an ice maker but overall was a great place for our group & will definitely come back!

Great location, beautiful beach, large pool. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our family vacation. We were close to some amazing restaurants. The balcony view at sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. 10/10 would recommend.

Great location and wonderful owners

Location was perfect to Ft Walton and Destin. Owners communicated continuously and were easy to get ahold. Condo has plenty of beach apparel including chairs, umbrellas, inflatables, sand toys and view is amazing. The beach crew was amazing to work with setting up our chairs for the week. Great place to stay!

Good condo

I liked the location on 6th floor and on the end. A couple of negatives: stain on carpet in bedroom next to the bunk beds and the ice maker didn't work. The air conditioning sometimes had the condo at 78 degrees no matter what we set it at.

Our family lives in New Orleans and for many years we've spent our Spring Breaks and summer vacations in Florida. In 2018 an opportunity to purchase this amazing unit came about, so with no hesitation at all we jumped on it in hopes of retiring here. Our 4 adult children, who have grown up taking many vacations in the Okaloosa Island and we hope to one day bring our future grandchildren here too! If relaxing at the beach at the condo isn't what you need, then in 1.5 miles you can find yourself at the Gulfarium Marine Park, Wild Willy's Adventure Zone, or the Emerald Coast Convention Center. When you're done with these, try Angler's Beachfront Grill, the Crab Trap, Rockin' Tacos or Salvati's Pizza, all in the same area. Take a 6.6 mile car ride East down the Miracle Strip, cross the pass at Crab Island and you'll find all the dining and fun you could ask for at The Destin Harbor Boardwalk at Destin Harbor.
