First off listing is a false. Building 7 where this is located is 20 minute walk to the beach. There was no hot water, wifi, hose outside to rinse off with the construction going on there were roads blocked and water cutoffs. The upstairs beds for the bunkbeds were unsafe to sleep on. There was food from the previous occupants. The rental company provided ZERO help or concerns. They attempted to "fix" the internet 3 times on our stay for to not be fixed still. I would never recommend this company to rent from. The condo was ideal if you want to stay far from the beach and deal with crappy company.

Not worth it

We booked our vacation in March at a fair price and average to what we usually pay every year. The week of our check in we were informed there would be light construction. When we arrived it was anything but light construction. There was heavy machinery 2 bulldozer and a huge backhoe the streets to the complex were torn up from the front entrance all the way to our building. The dozens started at 630am every morning loud beeping and large banging and absolutely no access to front beach road other residents were displeased and loudly let it be known they were stuck in their condos. This lasted all week. Upon entrance to our condo it was very nicely furnished and appliances were nice and the place was very clean the back sliding door lock was shotty looking but did the job the top balcony door did not lock there was food from the previous tenants under the coffee table. The hot water was Luke warm almost room temperature so they had a technician fix that in short time frame. Then we tried to connect the kids phones to the wifi and found it did not work and neither did the television. We were told they would be out to fix it Wednesday and that was 3 days into our trip and they finally got around to fixing it on Friday the last day of our trip right around the time we were heading for dinner so we tole the internet tech not to work about it because it was pointless at that point in time because we were leaving in the morning. So we had 0 forms of entertainment during the nights so we had to go out and purchase multiple card and board games to occupy the kids at night. The condo was clean and nicely furnished was about the only good part. Over all after the internet problems, having maintenance men take up our time and the walk to the beach through a major construction site and being covered in red mud when we got back to the condo leave the experience a total negative and would have been nice to have had a total refund and booked another location from day one

Carpet was dirty. The kids room was not cleaned upon arrival I had to call for sheets. Used towels left in the bathrooms. Closet doors broken. Door knob to a room was broken. Hard to open patio doors they were both off track.

Flabbergasted

When we arrived the dirty front door was an immediate red flag. We knew this was a older home but the photos were deceiving. The house had a propane gas smell on the main level, the furniture was severely worn and looks like it would fall in at any moment, the table was water damaged severely, blinds on the sliding doors were torn off, grass was extremely high in the patio area, and the floor upstairs was definitely unsafe, many weak spots and should not be walked on, bathroom was very rusty. Luckily, the customer service rep was understanding and really helpful and we were able to get a refund and go somewhere else to enjoy our vacation.

Nasty Nasty Nasty

This house is unacceptable! Nasty everywhere! Kitchen was old fashioned like never had a deep cleaning- All baseboards dirty but that kind of dirty for years! All the windows and glass doors seals with mold ! The stairs that is the first thing that you see when you enter had a hole and dirty! The carpet all stained ! Walls all stained too! It looks like those old houses that are about to make a flip over! Nasty Unpleasant unacceptable !

Surprises

Once arrived was able to get inside of the condo very nice and clean. Went to the office and I wish this was mentioned in the email because we did not plan on spending $20 each for a armband for 5yrs old and older that was $220 for 11 people that we could have planned for if told in email. You will need to bring extra towels & tissue. They did provide about 6 towels and rags, pots, pans, plates, cups. The weeds in the patio area bring alot of lizards and bugs can't enjoy the time out the grill can be used but is dirty. The armbands are for activities on the property pool, hot tube, pool table, basketball, mini golf we did not have any of the tools in our unit to use all amenities no poolsticks, golf sticks or basketball so I asked residents and they advised it should be in the unit. I called customer service Keira spoke to her at 8:22p did not resolve just took msg to give to higher management. Spoke to April who was the supervisor at 8:41 who told me they updated the ticket and left a voicemail for the local manager who texted me this the next day "Hi Ronise, this is April with Vacasa. I know it is late but I just got an update on your request. The pool sticks amenity items should be at the club house according to the local property manager. I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with" I was going back and front and could not get a refund because a armband is needed to be on the property. Other than that the stay was great just wish we was not blind sided by a $220 armband fee and wish I was able to use all amenities that we paid for. The condo is spacious. And please send someone to cut the weeds and fix little problems like the bedroom doors gettting stuck and the doorknobs are very loose. Probably won't recommend or stay here again.

Convenient, Not So Clean

The location was good. Needs updating very badly! Condo could use a lot of TLC. It would be more welcoming if outside was neater and cleaner. The inside floors were very gritty when we arrived. The wall plug outlets in poor condition. I will not rent this one again.

Perfect location

Could use cookware/bakeware, mixing bowls etc… we were unable to enjoy a dinner in the condo. Otherwise great vacation.

Horrible

So dirty and unkept. No Wi-Fi. No AC. Was unable to get ahold of anyone while we were there to fix the AC. We made the best of it but I will never rent from them again. So run down. Super disappointing. Kids are covered in bites. Possibly beg bugs.

Don’t Bother

We booked this listing, hoping to experience a “home away from home” feeling. We were extremely disappointed. Checking in started with us not being able to get into the compound of where the rental was. The entire time we stayed there, we couldn’t get the thermostat to move from 78 degrees. This made for a very miserable and sticky stay. We were welcomed by a friendly cockroach in the bathtub upstairs. At no point were we able to connect to the Wi-Fi. We settled on one of 4 channels on the downstairs TV, and had to unplug the upstairs TV because we couldn’t get it to turn off. We couldn’t secure any privacy from any of the sliding doors or blinds in each set of doors. We had hoped to crack the doors during the night to get some air circulating, and couldn’t get those to open either. The blinds would not shut and when we attempted to shut them, the blinds started falling “off” from the rail they were attached to. Because of how hot and sticky it was inside, the carpet inside was damp and slippery. The closet doors couldn’t be shut either, as they were off of the rails before we even attempted to put anything in the closets. Save your time and money. The lighting in the pictures made this place look wayyyyy better than what reality was. Zero stars. Do not recommend.

Spring Break Fun

This place was a great place for our college spring break trip, and we got for the most part what we expected. It was a very convenient location close to the beach, and we enjoyed how much space we had especially with the two balconies. Our main qualm was the lack of instruction given to guests on certain workings of the complex. We did not know where to take the trash, where the pool or main office was, or that armband purchases were required of everyone to be in the complex. The kitchen has many useful and quality appliances, but there was no skillet which was disappointing to our group. Overall though, it was a great stay at VaCasa! I know my group will have great memories to look back on forever!

Unit needs updating

The unit was fine, but the carpet needed a good cleaning. Pocket doors were off in second bedroom (which got fixed) and to laundry area, plus the knobs wee off on some doors. Weeds and overgrowth in small patio needed trimming. A fresh coat of paint everywhere would work wonders. Provide coffee and filters, if nothing else.
