This apartment is on the first floor of a duplex. It is located in the heart of the White Mountains in Berlin, NH. From the front door, you can ride your snowmobile or ATV down the street and onto the trails.
The property offers something for everyone with world class skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and ATV riding all within arms reach.

October 2023 leaf tour

Was very clean and organized. The owner was very responsive to our needs. Parking was spacious. Enjoyed having in room laundry available for us to use. Supplies were well stocked. Convenient and easy access to several local attractions.

We‘re new to vrbo. The owners were very helpful and quickly answered our questions. The location was convenient for us. The apartment was the perfect size for our needs, comfortable bed, very clean and well stocked. We agree with the reviewer who mentioned the shower was very narrow, and his suggestion to relocate the shower curtain rod out slightly, or use a curved rod. We knew the apartment was located on a main road. Although the traffic noise was noticeable, it was not a problem for us.

Fall in New Hampshire

This apartment is very nicely updated. Great appliances and everything you might need for cooking in the kitchen. (I don’t cook on vacation. LOL) Washer & Dryer is always a plus. If you want a quiet out of the way place this one might not be for you. On a busy main road. It was our first time to New Hampshire and we discovered it was a little far from what we were doing. But once again, I want to emphasize this was a very clean and updated apartment.

Spotless and accommodating

Unit was spotless. Very accommodating hosts. Dishes, towels, zip lock bag, washer, dryer, internet, and internet tv. Very homelike feel. Will definitely stay again.

clean and comfortable

The owner did a great job of maintaining the inside of the apartment. The location was not what we expected as it was on a main street. Overall a very nice clean place, felt safe and having off street parking made us feel more comfortable.

2nd time here and like the 1st - exceptional

Stayed here twice in 2 years and keep on coming back because it is clean, has everything needed and everything functions as it should. Check in process is efficient and i truly have no complaints. As long as this property is available it is saved in my favorites and check for availability here first.

Expected more

The online photos made the space seem much bigger in every way. Additionally the shower was very narrow, if the shower curtain rod were to be relocated further out it would help that situation. Blinds in every room were damaged. Noise from upstairs tenants walking around was annoying. A light over the kitchen sink would be a vast improvement.

We believe that the pictures provide an accurate depiction of the space. We have never received this comment before about the photos making the space seem bigger. We have also never received a comment about an issue with light over the sink, as there are several lights in the kitchen area and a window right over the sink. The shower is a standard shower size. There are light blocking curtains on the windows so the blinds are just there as an extra layer. As is the case with the majority of multi-level apartment buildings (a duplex in this case), it is nearly impossible to soundproof apartments 100%. We do have three other listings that are single family homes if additional privacy was desired.

excellent location for OHRV riding

We went to Berlin for side by side riding. Great location to make use of the trails. You couln;t ask for better Hosts. They answered every question plus more that we asked. We really appreciated their friendliness and all the help they gave us.

Just what we needed

My partner and I were looking for a small place near the mountains just to get away and this was perfect. We didn't have any particular itinerary in mind, just wanted somewhere we could go and relax for a few days and this was exactly as advertised. Alex was also easy and pleasant to communicate with.

Exceptional value for modern and recently renovated property

Property is high tech, it has everything one needs for a weeks stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt like we were at home. Location is excellent for people like us using it as a ski vacation. 45 minutes or 35 miles to Sunday River, 1hr or 55 miles to Loon Mountain and 2 hr or 99 miles to Shugarloaf. There is a Walmart within 5 miles of the property and Duncan Doughnuts within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants near by in the next town over. Host, Alex, is an excellent communicator and very accommodating. One of the many reasons that I will look at his property every time I ski in this area is that we showed up to our check in 8 hours early as the place where we were going to spend the night during our drive from Michigan was terrible and we decided to drive straight trough. When we showed up at 8am I called Alex and he let us in early. I highly, highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting this area. Thanks Alex - we truly enjoyed our stay at your property!

Beautifully remodeled home with everything we needed, even a washer and dryer. Owner even included little extras like laundry soap, dryer sheets, ziplock bags, etc. Really nice place. Didn't want to leave.

Well-Located

Well-located spot to call "base camp" to enjoy all the region has to offer. The accommodations were roomy and clean and convenient to grocery stores. Really appreciated the off-street parking, too. Owner was very communicative about process. I'd likely stay here again if I were ever lucky enough to come back.

Best place yet!

Over the past couple of years we’ve been using home away locations versus hotels. This is hands down the cleanest and best place we’ve stayed yet. Alex was in touch during our stay and provided additional supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent etc that you don’t normally get. We attended the Jericho ATV fest and could drive right from his location. We Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Perfect spot for my get away

Lovely home with everything you could want readily available. I stayed here while visiting the NE states and ventured into VT and ME.....it was a convenient location for my day trips. J’s restaurant down the road was great and so was Mary’s Pizza (also located very close by).
