Come enjoy everything the northern reaches of New Hampshire has to offer. This property is located within walking distance of the Mt. Forist trail head, as well as a short drive to Jericho State Park. Looking to take a trip to Mt. Washington, the White Mountain National Forest, or Wildcat ski slope instead? All these destinations and more are just a short drive away. Don't forget about Santa's Village and Storyland for the children, as those just are a short drive away as well.

The home is located on a hilltop overlooking the city of Berlin and surrounding mountains. If you enjoy outdoor activities, this property offers easy access to the outdoors and something for everyone. Hiking, ATVing, snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, and more are accessible from the door step.

The home is situated on a secluded residential street with minimal traffic. A large deck and a private backyard offer additional space to enjoy the outdoors.

We offer high speed wireless internet and smart TVs with YouTubeTV featuring all local sports networks and over 70+ channels. TVs are installed in all four bedrooms and the living room.

Smart locks enable easy access to and from the property and allow us to offer a self check-in process.

Weekend at Jericho

Perfect location for a weekend riding at Jericho State Park. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again

Excellent, well equipped home

Highly recommend this home! Was well appointed, without clutter and had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable. Things I appreciated: tvs in all rooms, luggage racks in all rooms, plenty of parking, open floor plan. Perfect for a weekend of ATVing in the area.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! As with most homes in this city, the house is in close proximity to multiple ATV trail heads. ATVs are allowed to be ridden on the roads and the closest trail head is less than a mile away from the driveway.

Weekend stay

Our friends who we’re staying with us, noticed that the upstairs bathroom had a broken toilet seat which made it very difficult to use the toilet, also the floors need some deep cleaning, very dirty, besides that everything was to be expected from a rental, also an ant problem,

We were not made aware of any of these items prior to receiving this review. We are unable to address items during a stay that we are not made aware of. Regarding the floors, I was personally at the property just hours prior to this guest’s arrival. There were no issues with the floors prior to the guests arrival. It’s possible that individuals from this group tracked in dirt and debris from riding on ATV trails. Regarding the toilet seat, it appears that one of the brackets holding the seat on broke. A replacement seat was purchased from the local Walmart and it was a five minute swap out of the toilet seats. We had individuals available that could have taken care of the same repair during this stay had we been made aware. Regarding the ants, we have preventative ant baits around the house to prevent ants. We have not had any previous guests mention any ants, did not see any ants at the turnover prior to these guests, and did not see any ants at the turnover for these guests. Additionally, we have made daily stops at the house to check for ants since receiving this review and we have not located a single ant inside the house.

Got to the property found out we could not stay

When we found out, we could not stay I called and text the owner to see if there was any way we could put a credit towards a later rental heard no response at all which I think was very rude considering this is by no way the first time I’ve rented their house we have the house rented again for a weekend in June hopefully better experience.

Upon arriving at the property, Kevin and his group were only there for 2 hours when a citizen in town informed them that ATV trails were not yet open, and Kevin and his group riding their ATV's was not legal. Kevin and his group never communicated to us that the purpose of their stay was to ride ATV’s. ATV trail status is well published across multiple websites, many of which are linked in our online guest guidebook. Kevin and his group promptly packed up and left. Later that evening, Kevin emailed us outside of VRBO and demanded a refund or a credit. The property was prepared, cleaned, and ready for Kevin and his party to stay. They chose not to stay at the property and leave simply because they did not do their research and didn't realize ATV trails in the area were closed for mud season. As we explained to Kevin in our written communication, we cannot provide refunds or credits to guests due to a guest electing to leave the property early. Despite our very clear communication, members of Kevin's party continued to hound us via phone demanding refunds or credits. We did respond to Kevin immediately upon receiving his email and clearly explained the refund and cancellation policy as listed on VRBO and the listing.

Great stay!

Everything was very clean upon arrival. Decorated simply but adequately-my kids didn’t fight over beds, because they were all the same! 😂 Also, there weren’t a ton of nicknacks, to remember where to place them back. The tv options kept the kids busy when we got tired. It was in a quiet neighborhood, and close to everything we wanted to see. The owner responded quickly with any communications. Thanks for a great stay!

Summer Hiking

Nice clean place ,well maintained ,easy check in and out, good communication and directions. I would definitely rent again, the kitchen is well equipped and the living space is plenty large enough to accommodate the amount of people comfortably.

Large place, very clean. Ample parking. Some steep hills to get to the house but that didn’t affect us. It’s a great house in a good location.

ATV weekend

We rented the house for an ATV weekend. The house was very clean and the layout was perfect for our group. The location was great, the yard was private and we were able to drive the ATVs from the house to the trials. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place in Berlin.

Fabulous house for a small group.

This rental property was perfect for the 8 of us. It was very clean and had everything we needed ( including shampoo/conditioner/ laundry detergent), plus plenty of parking for 3 cars. The town and the neighborhood are very quiet. There are not many restaurants, but there is a market near by. We loved how there were TVs in all the bedrooms plus the living room. The house was also very warm. We would definitely stay here again!

Super clean!

This property was super clean and had everything that we needed. We came for my grandmothers 90th birthday. The downstairs room had plenty of space for 2 pack and plays for my twins and quiet enough for my 4yr old to take a nap. Communication with the homeowner was quick and kind. We also left a couple of belongings behind and they sent them to us immediately. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

New Years

The house was very clean and well kept. Alex was very easy to get in touch with if/when we needed anything. It is on a pretty steep hill to get to the house but that was our only issue. I definitely recommend 4 wheel drive. Decent sized yard for kids to play in, smart tv’s in every bedroom and 2 full bathrooms made for an easy trip when we had 5 kids with us.
