Stunning views!

The property was perfect for our girls’ trip to PS! We loved the property’s location and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us! The pool/hot tub was phenomenal and we were able to play music through the Sonos speakers which was a real plus. Great time and everyone agreed they would rent the property again if we return to Palm Springs!

Gracious host answered questions quickly before/after our booking. We chose this for the outdoor spaces/view and were not disappointed. Morning coffee at one end of the patio, then follow the sun (in winter) to the pool and lounge chairs. In summer there would similarly be multiple spots to find shade. The fire table is a very welcoming place after the sun sets. So many windows to take in the views. We enjoyed walking/jogging in the adjacent Indian Canyon neighborhood each day and hiking the adjacent South Lykken trail. The area is quiet and we find south PS to be such a convenient place to stay. We share the observation that multiple steps in/outside and the natural stone surrounding the pool might not be the easiest for guests with balance or walking issues but we were able to be prepared and everything worked out. The pool was comfortable and so much fun with the waterfall. This is indoor/outdoor living at its best and I can't fault a thing honestly. Also cheers to the cleaning crew who had the place spotless.

Amazing property

My wife and I had a wonderful and memorable time staying at this house. It features unparalleled views across Coachella valley, abundant privacy, well-appointed furnishings, and stunning architecture. We would love to stay again next time we're in Palm Springs.

The house is lovely. Well furnished and fun. The primary bedroom will be fought over as it is beyond grand! Besides the house, the pool, spa and views are top notch! Very highly recommended.

Truly Enjoyable

The property is as advertised! Views are spectacular! Walking distance to great hiking trails, minutes from golf courses and stores are close by. Very quiet and clean! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The owner is more than accommodating, truly a pleasure to work with. Will definitely use again during next stay in Palm Springs!

Golf/family trip

Gorgeous property! Our second time there actually…love it so much…it’s become our Palm Springs home away from home. Indian Canyon is a great place to golf and/or hike. The pool and hot tub are the perfect place for relaxing and unwinding. Jon is very responsive. We will be back again! Mahalo

Phenomenal winter getaway.

My husband and I were looking for a warm getaway to celebrate our 70th birthdays with our kids and grandkids. We had the most wonderful time at the canyon corridor! The views, the grounds, the pool, the house and all the amenities were superior. From the moment the gate opened, we were awe struck at the beauty that surrounded us. Jon is such an attentive and thoughtful host. The kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook. The location of the house is close to downtown, hikes, restaurants, and museums. The pool is perfect for relaxing. We are already talking about when we will be able to return.

Best Palm Springs Experience Ever!

We had such an amazing trip! The house was absolutely beautiful. We felt like we were at a 5 star resort. Everyone in our group could not stop talking about the views of the valley that are enjoyed throughout the property. Owner was engaged and helped us figure out how to operate some items after our arrival. Can not recommend this property enough. We had a very relaxing, very fun time celebrating with a group of adult couples.

Palm Springs Perfection

As others have written, the property is even more dramatic and lovely than the photos portray. Our party of 6 adults and one 3-year-old had plenty of space to gather and also find ample privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and amply stocked with spices and condiments. The house truly lacked nothing that our family required for a fabulous week together. We've rented some spectacular vacation homes in wonderful destinations, and this one is at or near the top of the list. Grateful thanks to the owners for making this beautiful property available.

Amazing property inside and out, we loved it!

The view is breathtaking from the moment you open the private entry gates and make your way around all that Hanging Rock offers. The property grounds and desert landscaping are gorgeous, lush, green and expertly maintained. The pool, spa, massive waterfall and patio accommodations are fabulous. As you enter the foyer, the expansive view of the interior and exterior overlooking the canyon is amazing. The entire interior is fabulous throughout every room. As someone who loves to cook, I especially enjoyed the well-stocked gourmet kitchen. The view from every room is amazing. Working with Jon, the property owner was effortless. He was instantly responsive with any inquiries and demonstrated a genuine interest in ensuring his guests have a wonderful experience. Can’t say enough great things about Hanging Rock Estate. We’ll certainly be back!

Amazing property with incredible views

This house was great. Views are better than the pictures. The pool and hot tub heating are included in the cost of the rental (within normal parameters). The kitchen amenities were great. The fireplace is large and powerful. The master shower is spectacular with amazing views. I would recommend taking the walk around the corner up the hill to the hiking trails (about a 8 min walk). This house is an amazing value as I have stayed at a neighboring home which was much more money. The owners are extremely helpful. I would like to inform any older visitors (70) that there could be some safety concerns here as the master shower could be difficult for people to step down into and there are several steps in and around the house that blend in with the home. I know my parents and inlaws might have some concerns if staying in this house. This should not deter anyone from staying here, unless they are prone to falling.

View, view, view! If a unique mid-century home with an amazing view is what you are looking for this is the vacation home for you! 7 ladies enjoyed a fabulous stay in a magical place. It was extremely comfortable, especially the interior temperature and air quality. We never needed to touch a thermostat, it was perfect! There was a little glitch in the beginning of our stay, but Jon, the host, was quick to resolve the issue and his maintenance manager Adrain is a gem. All of us had the best time and can't wait to book another stay at this spectacular home. Thank you!

Perch of a 1000 views

As advertised, a home that is perfect in many ways. Meant for entertaining, the views from both inside and out showcase what I love about Palm Springs — the perspective of the valley with a million palms, the far distant planes coming and going, and the mountain ranges, that gives perspective on ... life. House is private and on the edge of elevation, the pool is smallish but tucked in perfectly to the landscape as if it was meant to be there. Rock cliff waterfall was fun several times a day and cooled the pool. Jon was excellent and an open host/homeowner, accommodating in more ways than he needed to be.

The perfect pad for our Bachelorette party!

7 of us travelled down from Canada and stayed at this VRBO for 5 nights for our friends Bachelorette. It was the perfect rental, had everything we needed, was so fabulous and the pool was incredible. Very comfy beds. Great host! Thank you for having us!
