As you the enter the gates of Trullo & Villa Sorellina you will be welcomed by one of our team to ensure your holiday gets off to great start.

The property is comprised of two parts, a trullo and a villa, which are just 3 metres apart from each other.

The trullo comprises a sitting room, kitchen-diner, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

TRULLO SORELLINA

SITTING ROOM

The spacious sitting room has two sofas and an armchair, perfect for relaxing and watching a TV on the 32", internet ready flat screen or playing on the X box. There are plenty of books in Italian and English for all ages to enjoy and the coffee table has interesting books regarding Puglia on its shelf. The sitting room also have air-con which feeds to the two bedrooms.

From the sitting room the double doors lead out onto the patio with views of the pool and garden area

Small breakfast KITCHEN 1

In the villa we have a kitchen for 10 people to dine in, therefore we have created a small kitchen in the trullo should you wish to make drinks, breakfast, snacks etc. Here we have a fridge/freezer, second fridge for keeping drinks cool, gas hob, kettle, toaster, Nespreso capsule coffee machine and of course the crockery, cutlery etc for your use.

There is a small round table which seats 4 people.

Here you also find the wifi which covers the trullo.

TRULLO MASTER BEDROOM

The spacious bedroom has a double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, a chest of drawers with mirror above and a range of built in wardrobes where you will also find the hairdryer. There is a USB charging point either side of the bed and artwork to compliment the room. All this under the high ceiling of the trullo cone. TRULLO BEDROOM 2

The light and airy second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds* with bedside cabinets and lamps, a large chest of drawers containing the hairdryer for this room and there is a curtained alcove for hanging clothes. There is a full length mirror and nearby you find the USB charging point. The window which also has a mosquito net, looks out to the front of the property towards the pine trees and pool

**On request, when booking, these beds can be put together to make a double if you require.

TRULLO BATHROOM 1

This long bathroom has a walk-in shower with shower curtain, WC, bidet, wash hand basin, towel rail, hooks and a shelved unit for storage of your personal toiletries. The window which also acts as a mirror looks out onto the back of the property.

LAMIA BEDROOM 3

With lovely barrelled ceiling, part exposed stone walls, this room has 2 single beds**, bedside cabinets with lamps, chest of drawers containing the hairdryer for this room and a full length mirror. There are two USB charging points by the bedside cabinets and the room also have air-con. The window looks out onto the courtyard and onto the shrubs.

**On request, when booking, these beds can be put together to make a double if you require.

ENSUITE BATHROOM for bedroom 3

This bathroom has a walk-in shower with shower curtain, WC, bidet and wash hand basin with mirror and light above. A high window looks out onto the rear of the property.

Notes: It is possible to put a travel cot into bedroom 2 if required.

Trullo & Villa Sorellina are separated by a delightful courtyard and this is where most of our guests tend to gather together at night on the comfortable outdoor sofas and chairs. More later in our description.

VILLA SORELLINA

Entering in from the double patio doors into:

KITCHEN / DINING ROOM

The kitchen is very well equipped with full size oven, 4 ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, large Nespresso capsule coffee machine, blender, electric whisk, decent knives for food preparation and of course plenty of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery for 10 people. The is space to prepare food nearby to the cooker on the worktop and above we have air-con which also feeds the two bedrooms.

The window which has a mosquito net looks out onto the pool.

The modern dining table with its funky, comfortable coloured seats is great for coming together to eat and seats up to 10 people. There is a small wood stove nearby.

GRAN RELAX BEDROOM 4

This comfortable room has a large double bed with memory foam mattress, bedside cabinets with lamps, large chest of drawers were you will find the hairdryer for this room and a curtained alcove for hanging your clothes. There is a full length mirror and near to the door you will find the USB charging point. OUTSIDE

POOL

The pool is set a few paces away from the trullo/villa and is accessed via the short pathway. It measures 8 x 4m and is 1.2m deep. Alongside the pool we have 10 sun loungers for you to relax on, pool floats and games for the pool.



COVERED TRULLO VERANDA / COURTYARD AREA

Outside of the kitchen is the covered veranda with lovely exposed stone wall, here we have a large outdoor sofa and 4 comfortable chairs to relax on with a table at the centre. Sit back, relax and enjoy the view of the pool, pine wood and courtyard areas.

In the courtyard there is a purpose built BBQ for you to cook delicious local food on, the darts board and the boxing punch bag for those of you feeling energetic are nearby.

PATIO AREA

Outside of the trullo we have an outdoor table tennis table, great fun for all ages. The patio that surrounds both the trullo and villa is all one level, so great if you have young children or a little unsteady on your feet.

AL FRESCO DINING

Outside of the villa kitchen under the shady gazebo there is a table and comfortable chair for 10 people. Here you can dine under the stars and enjoy a glass of wine or two!

PARKING

There is private parking off road parking for 4 cars.

OTHER GENERAL INFORMATION

Near the parking area there are some wonderful pine trees which provide great natural shade if you wish to get away from the sun and maybe lie in one of the hammocks

The property has approx. 4000 sqm of land and is either fenced or gated. The are lots of established plants and shrubs and plenty of places for children to explore. Why not have a game of frisbee golf in the pine wood!

CHILDREN

We have aimed to provide a relaxing comfortable space for you to enjoy. We recognise that children and those young at heart need entertaining, with this in mind we provide, X Box, internet, table tennis, darts, pool floats, badminton, boules, frisbee golf, cards, board games and a few toys.

We also provide free of charge for babies a travel cot, highchair and changing mat. Please note that we do not provide linen for the travel cot as often babies have sensitive skins, this you need to bring.

EXERCISE

You will find 2 yoga mats, a 3 sets of weights from 5kg down and a punch bag and boxing gloves.

LOCAL INFO

At the property you will find a house book full of lots of information on what to do and where to go. Also on arrival we will only too pleased to give you more information according to your interests.

The beautiful town of Martina Franca is 10 minutes drive away and is full of baroque architecture, is host to an annual Opera and music festival and has a huge market every Wednesday.

Ceglie Messapica is also 10 minutes drive away and is known as a gastonomic centre, where you can find an abundance of restaurants from pizzerias to a Michelin star restaurant.

Cisternino a town high up on a hilltop has fantastic views over the Valle D'Itria and surrounding countryside. Its centro storico (old town) is charming and has plenty of shops, cafe/bars and restaurants for all budgets and tastes. This too is just over 10 minutes away by car.

Alberobello with its town of many trullis, Castellana Grotte and the interesting cave tours, Locorotondo with wineries to visit and no trip would be complete without a visit to Lecce (known locally as the Florence of the South).

Torre Canne is the nearest beach, but there are many beautiful beaches and areas of more rugged coastline both on the Adriatic and Ionian coast in easy driving distance.
