Real Escapes Properties is pleased to offer you 1608 Ocean Road – also known as Landfall Cottage! This renovated East Beach charmer home with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths is yours for the renting. Located marsh front on the corner of Ocean Road and 2nd Street, this cottage is in the perfect location for sun and fun!

Built in 1940, this house has been completely remodeled all the way down to the studs and back. It will wow you the moment you walk in!

Stainless appliances, gas stove top, quartz countertops, kitchen island, Keurig and standard coffee makers, are but a few of the features that await you in this chef’s kitchen. Seat six at the dining table, with four at the kitchen island to make dinner gatherings for ten a possibility. After dinner, relax in the family room and watch your favorite show on the wall-mounted smart TV.

The master bedroom boasts an en-suite bath with walk in shower, double vanity, and water closet. Enjoy the marsh front, screened-in porch off of the master bedroom. Your overnight guests or family members will stay in two well-appointed bedrooms and a bunk room with built-ins that can sleep four.

Location! From Landfall Cottage, you are a short walk to the beach (Coast Guard Station Beach Access Point) and only 1.7 miles to the Pier and Village area. It is about 1/2 - 1 mile distance to grocery store and restaurants.

Landfall Cottage, located at 1608 Ocean Road, St. Simons Island, will be your family’s favorite spot to getaway!

CHECK IN: 4:00 pm CHECK OUT: 10:00 am

• Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (10 persons).
• Dogs are allowed at this property for an additional $100 per pup non-refundable pet fee. (no cats).
• Parking for 3 cars in driveway and in front of the property
• Walk to Coast Guard Station Public Beach Access, 1.7 miles to Pier Village

Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

What to Expect in your Unit:
• There are 6 TVs in this property.
• Linens (Bath towels & bed sheets) are provided along with a Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels, Trash Bags and Coffee Supplies (Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.)

2 Sets of Bunk Beds

Don’t forget to bring your beach chairs, beach towels and sunscreen!

Fantastic setting for our family of 6 and 2 dogs. Dogs could be in the fenced yard while we enjoyed the pool and sun. Furnished brilliantly. All appliances/grill worked. All kitchen supplies we needed. Super close walk/bike ride to beach. Beautiful neighborhood. This is not a knock on owners of home, but rather a reminder for all of us pet owners… please clean up after your pets as you vacate a property.

This property was very clean and well maintained. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Location was central to beach, restaurants, and shops. We were very happy with this rental.

Lovely island property

Other than a problem with the batteries in the door keypads when we arrived (a problem quickly remedied), the property was very comfortable and well prepared. We liked the short walk to the beach.

Epitome of the perfect Beach House

We had a wonderful time at this homey, perfectly located house. We could easily walk to the beach, we could even hear the waves from the yard at night. The home was cozy and perfectly equipped for everything we needed! The screened in porch is a dream. Would love to stay again.

The house was clean and as advertised. There was some issues with the refrigerator and dish washer, which need to be replaced. Good access to beach. Overall, nice little house for a quick get away.

Some features need attention….well equipped otherwise. Dog hair noticed on socks, mine is non shed. Overall enjoyed the place, area, etc. I assume the property mgr. is owner’s mother. Was unaware she would “show up”, but she was pleasant.

Several friends met us there and we had such an incredible weekend thanks to Real Escapes. The house was beautiful and was perfect for friend groups or families. It was very clean. We could walk to the beach, and we were just a short trip to the shops and restaurants.We travel a lot and I have to say, Real Escapes provided one of the best rental experiences we have ever had. They make things simple and are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better experience and we will definitely be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a group stay here and while the office was very responsive we had quite a bit of issues upon arrival. It looked as if our space hadn't been fully cleaned, trash was found in the bins, dirty towels were left outside. Some beds had hair in them. Then the A/C didnt work, they had someone come out to fix it the next day. Then the fridge wouldn't get cold at all, they said it would take a day to work properly. but we had a diabetic with us and all our essentials could hardly stay cool. Then we had electrical issues and had to reset the was one thing after another. I asked for a partial refund for the first night and still have yet to receive it. The place worked well for our stay, but I'd be hesitant to stay here again.

Our 3 night stay

Upon arrival to the property, several appliances were not working. The A/C, the fridge, the propane tank, and the oven. We reset the breaker for the oven and eventually that started working. We had a diabetic with us and we needed to keep our perishaibles cold, however we were told that only a cooler could be provided for us. Luckily, they had a wine fridge and that saved all of our cold items. The next day the fridge seemed to work fine, but again took a whole 24 hours. And they sent someone out for the a/c but we had no a/c for the whole first day.On top of that, the place wasnt cleaned well upon arrival. Trash in kitchen, hair found in bed, dirty towels outside by the pool, and multiple other things that led us to believe it wasnt properly cleaned despite what we were told. I asked for a refund for that first day and never received it. The rest of the trip were alright, but our group of 10 would not stay here again.
