Your Property
Welcome to Woodley Beach House, a charming two-story retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. The main living area features: wood-paneled walls and exposed ceiling beams, a prominent stone fireplace with a wood stove, a brand new sleeper sofa and leather chairs, a large flat-screen TV with complimentary Netflix, new bay windows offering ocean glimpses, and a brand new deck for enjoying coastal air. The modern galley kitchen is fully equipped with: white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker, cooking basics, and dishes and silverware. The adjacent dining area comfortably seats up to six guests. A second living space provides a bookshelf stocked with board games and reading material for additional entertainment. Sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests include: Bedroom 1 (Lower Level): King-size bed with en-suite bathroom (walk-in shower), Bedroom 2 (Upper Level): King-size bed with beautiful ocean view, Loft (Upper Level): Double bed, ideal for children, Living Room: Sleeper sofa. Bathrooms include: an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, a unique bathroom with a clawfoot tub and vibrant wallpaper, and a second bathroom with shower/tub combination. Additional amenities: washer and dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Guest Access
Guests will have private access to the entire Woodley Beach House. Enjoy a seamless arrival with self check-in via a smart lock. Free parking is available on the premises for your vehicles.

Interaction With Guests
We respect our guests' privacy. We are available by phone or message should you need anything during your stay, but otherwise, you will have the space to yourselves.

Other Details to Note
For your safety and peace of mind, the home is equipped with: carbon monoxide alarms, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Enjoy self check-in for a convenient arrival.
Beach access can be found by walking a half block north on Glen to Laurel Street, turning left and then traveling one more block.

Please note that boats, trailers, and RVs are unfortunately not permitted.

Great location for walking to the beach. Excellent communication with the host. Enjoyed the dining table for games and meals. Lots of puzzles and games available to use. Beds were comfortable.

Great location

We spent the weekend at this property and would stay again. The house is very cozy and is within walking distance to the beach. House was pretty clean and very well equipped for a fun stay.

So close to wonderful beach!

Loved this house. Comfortable for a family with adults, teen kids and a toddler. Beautiful renovation, awesome kitchen appliances, pots/pans, comfy beds, and walked to the beach every day in about a minute. Would stay again!

Roach family fourth of July getaway.

Quick access to the beach. Comfortable and clean accomodations. Everything was accurately described in the listing. It's always nice to stay in the Gleneden beach area. Plenty of things to do north or south along the coast.

Speaks get away

We really enjoyed our stay. Very cozy and close to the beach. But in the master bedroom the bed needs a new mattress. We sunk into the middle. Thanks again for the wonderful get away.

Made Memories On The Coast

Mother - daughter visiting my mother. 3 generations gathering together and making memories. We sat on the front deck and took in the ocean views and smells. A time we will not forget!

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. Very charming home with a lot of character, which my group and I enjoyed. There's a nice public bench on a short cliff above the beach, as well as beach access within walking distance. For awareness, beach access is on a hill. However, there were no spare garbage bags in the house at all, and the host never offered to resupply or give a solid answer on whether they even could resupply. Their response was to double check the usual places, and when I said we already did, they sent generic "we'll get back to you" type messages without any solid yes/no answer about obtaining more bags. Their check out instructions state that all garbage needs to go in the outside bin by check out, which is a normal expectation except for the lack of bags made available to facilitate this. Not end of world, but very challenging to manage trash & disappointed that the host could not find a way to leave extra bags at the door or tell us straight that they could not assist. Hope this improves for future guests. Also, washing machine did not work. Host offered to fix, but it was on our last day, so I declined. To be fair, I requested assistance from the host on 4th of July holiday in the early evening, so it's understandable that they did not respond until the next morning on our last day. I appreciate the host's responsiveness to that particular issue. I advise future guests check the washing machine and garbage bag supply first thing when checking in.

Annual Girls weekend

The house was just fine for the weekend, although it is "cozy".The master king bed is worn out & has a severe V. But if you sleep with your pillows along the side, it is comfortable! Otherwise, the house was just right for our group of friends.

Fit our Needs

We were meeting friends from Montana who rented several homes in the Bella Beach neighborhood. We could not find a comparable place there but found this place only 5 minutes away. It was just hubby and I and worked out perfect for us. Made a couple of breakfasts, sat out on front deck one evening, I stayed one day and worked while he went deep sea fishing. Only complaint was that the master bedroom had a "plastic" cover on the mattress that was loud and annoying.

Adorable, comfortable beach house

Very cute house with nice updates and very comfortable. Looks small from outside, but quite roomy inside especially the large downstairs bedroom and upstairs bedroom areas. Dining room table a little wobbly/uneven, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

One item- Guest Bathroom

Downstairs guest bathroom tub did not drain well when showering…drained very slowly. Likely has things blocking it. This existed prior to our arrival.

Disappointed

The place was dirty. Sand all over the floors as soon as we walked in. There are zero mats or foot scrapes at this place. So when you walk in there’s nothing to wipe your feet on as you enter. We honored the place by taking our shoes off to not track sand in, but walking around was insane and within a few steps you have sand covered feet even though you haven’t been to the beach yet. The kitchen is not equipped for anyone to stay and cook. Most of the kitchen tools are nylon and very melted from previous renters. Sorry, but I’m not going to eat melted nylon in my food. Why not spend $50 bucks to get silicone or wood kitchen tools. We found a nonstick pan that was so cut up and scratched that it was unusable. No BBQ grill either. Unfortunately a very important remote that was important for adjusting the TV volume was missing so we couldn’t turn up the TV, which was at zero, so we couldn’t watch any television. We texted the property management company but got no response. We looked everywhere for it, nowhere. Check in was 4pm. In the morning we asked for an early check in of 3pm and they said it would be a $50 fee. Seemed a little extreme, so we declined and stayed around the area. At 4:06pm, while on the way there, we received a text that they were running late and check in would be 5pm, so we turned around. Even though they wanted $50 to check in early, we weren’t offered any kind of $50 dollar reimbursement for their lateness.

The house was great. Very clean. Good price. Communication with the host was also good. Only thing was the fireplace and thermostat didn't work so no heat the first night. After we bought batteries and replaced the ones in the thermostat did that work and the fireplace never worked. I requested maintenance the day I came and it took them a day and a half to come and when they did they were not able to fix the fireplace. Other than that the house was amazing.

Perfect little getaway

Nice little getaway. Walking distance to a little nature trail and brewery with little shops. Nice quaint little house with plenty of games, cookware etc.
