Flexible Cancellation! The Snug Cottage -Snug Harbor - East Matunuck, RI

Completely remodeled and simply adorable studio cottage. New central AC and heat, free WiFi, kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, plenty of counter space and cabinets. The Snug Cottage is open May-October. Outfitted with plates, dishes and cooking ware. Eating area has a drop leaf table that can seat 5! Fabulously comfortable, new memory foam double bed with storage bins underneath. Bathroom has a shower stall and pocket door.We also have an outdoor shower for an easy post beach rinse. Enjoy the sun, shade and harbor breezes from the two decks; one at the front of the cottage and one with a sail shade in the rear.The Snug Cottage is just 2 miles to East Matunuck State Beach with all the amenities it has to offer. 5 other beaches just a short drive. Visit the famous restaurants in the area and enjoy harbor side dining just a stroll away. If fishing is your passion, we are across from six marinas for fantastic fishing boat charters. Also enjoy some great day trips to Watch Hill, Newport, Jamestown, Block Island, and Mystic or one of our 6 local beaches! There are 2 car parking spots on the property; NO BOATS OR TRAILERS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY. NO SMOKING IN OR ON PREMISES. No candles, fire pits or open fires in or on premises. No events, parties or gatherings permitted. Short term rental registration number: RE-01712-STR

Great location close to beaches. Everything we needed was in the cottage. Host super easy to communicate with. Outdoor space was spacious-wish we had more time to enjoy it and found time to grill. Plan to be back!

This is our seventh year in a row staying here! Our summer vacation wouldn’t be the same without staying at the Snug Cottage! It really has everything two people could need. There has always been excellent communication with Marnee. Can’t wait for next summer!

A dream of a place and just the right size for me. Great location to east matunuck beach and bikable. Marnee has great taste with her properties. Bed, pillows, and decor very comfortable. Coming back for sure!

Our stay Snug Cottage

The cottage is small but the perfect size for the two of us!We had zero issues and enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the fact that Matunuck Oyster Bar had a fire and was closed. Last trip to Rhode Island we ate there three times. Thank you Marnee for for allowing us to stay at your place.Jim & Laura

The Snug Cottage

Charming Cottage

What a charming and cozy cottage! Marnee was terrific--a great communicator, quick to respond to questions and just so nice. The cottage was extremely clean, well landscaped and very comfortable. Marnee's decorative touches added such warmth to this snug getaway. Highly recommend!

My Ocean Fix @ the Snug Cottage!!! 🌊

From start to finish my first ever VRBO adventure @ the “Snug Cottage” in South Kingstown was seamless and enjoyable! The property was clean, well-maintained, beautifully landscaped in a great location, and all communications I made to Marnee, the owner, were returned promptly. She even sent me a Local Restaurant, Shops & Places to See & a Check-in Guide which were very helpful. I give my stay an A+ (except for two rainy days!)

A Perfect RI Escape

I had a wonderfully enjoyable escape to The Snug Cottage-- a very sweet retreat that's been thoughtfully furnished and well maintained by owner Marnee. The location is perfect -- only a mile to East Matunuck State Beach, 15 minute drive to Block Island Ferry (which is a day trip not to be missed), plus a choice of restaurants and many other beaches within a short driving distance. The weather was mixed with rain and sunshine during my visit and I still had a wonderful time. Can't wait to go back. PS if you do go to Block Island, get an Island Tour with Bruce at Oceanside Taxi, he's the best!

Delightful Stay

A perfect spot for a short getaway . This small studio sized cottage has everything you need including an outdoor shower . The location is perfect .. close to beach, restaurant and marina . The unit itself is very clean and stocked with fresh towels, comfy blanket and kitchen supplies.

4 days was perfect for my stay. Local Beaches and restaurants were plenty to keep me busy and the neighborhood was so nice and peaceful in the evenings. Cottage was great and the outdoor shower is the best I've taken.

Cozy stay

Even though we were there the weekend of a hurricane it was a lovely stay. The little kitchenette and close by restaurants allowed us to stay snuggled up indoors but still enjoy some fantastic seafood. Thanks!
