Featuring Gulf views, seven pools, including one indoor saltwater pool, and a fitness center, everyone will have something to dive into! A short walk puts you on the sugar-sand beaches of Alabama's Gulf Coast. A short drive west, you'll find the natural beauty of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and Pine Beach Trailhead.

You will have access to an indoor pool, sauna, six outdoor pools, two outdoor hot tubs, and one indoor hot tub on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds.

Awesome stay with primo beach access!

The ease of access to the beach was perfect! The rooms were spacious, quiet at night, full kitchen if needed. The insight restaurant is not only convenient, but the food was phenomenal! The Grouper sandwich, pineapple boat, plantains, and grilled pineapple were favorites. The beach was clean and the water was clear. The pool was nice. All around, it was the perfect place for our family!

Nice condo we enjoyed our stay.

We like the size and location of this condo. The bedrooms and baths are great for our family. The location by the beach, pools and the sassy bass restaurant is convenient for us. We have been staying at this condo every couple of years for over 15 years. We enjoy it. The family room furniture and the primary bath could probably use a little bit of a fluff up.

Beautiful home, great experience... A friendly suggestion

My family and I are avid summer vacationers that stay in Vacasa properties. This place was a great experience like the other properties. A friendly suggestion, the 3rd bedroom Polaroid TV remote didn't work needs replacement and master bedroom TV had a black bar on the screen needs fixing or replaced. Other than that, great experience. I will continue to stay with Vacasa, 4 years and counting.

We always love our stays at Plantation Dunes. We choose to stay in ground level units which make easy access to the beach, pool, and the many outdoor activities. With Sassy Bass on the premises, you never have to leave to eat a delicious meal.

Loved the location

We have stayed in this area multiple times over the years. This was our favorite condo location ever. So convenient to step out on our personal patio and be steps away from the pool and tennis courts. Condo was well stocked with kitchen items and nicely decorated. For the the most part of our stay, our family had a good experience. Downfalls, we thought we had a balcony view but didnā€™t and the front door broke and we lost several hours of beach time waiting for maintenance.

Returning visit

This is our second year staying at this property. We have enjoyed it. The short walk to the beach and pool without having to access the elevator is wonderful! The condo itself has been updated for the most part. The master shower could use a good deep cleaning and the tub in the guest room doesnā€™t drain very well. We did have to place a service call for a different issue and they were very quick to respond.

Great Location! Very Nice!

We went in April, lots of spring breakers, and cheer competitions going on. I loved the location! Itā€™s about 20 minutes from the hangout area. So youā€™re not in the mix of all of the crowds. Not overcrowded on the beach at all! The condo is ground level and right by the pool, and a tennis court. Thereā€™s a back porch where you can sit and watch the pool/tennis area. Love that thereā€™s 24 hr. Security at the entrance. Place was clean and exactly as described. Had everything you needed in the kitchen. Also has washer and dryer! I would definitely stay here again!

Great condo for our family!

We enjoy the Plantation Dunes. Although this is an older condo compared to newer condos along the coast, it is a great experience. We love that it is spread out. There are several pools, tennis courts and other amenities to enjoy. We stayed in unit 5002. Again, it had some basic wear and tear, but it has plenty of space and was very clean. We would stay here again. We especially like that it was located on teh ground level and close to the pool and beach. The kids were able to walk outside to play close to the condo and go to the pool. Two of the bedrooms has king size beds. The 3rd bedroom had 4 twin beds and this is perfect for kids. We look forward to staying in this condo again.

Great room! Vacasa not so much

Loved the room. Ground floor, close to everything, pools, Sassy Bass, beach... Backdoor keypad lock did not work so we had to leave unlocked to use. (not a problem, people there are very honest. Ice machine always had possibly hundreds of dollars in the honor pay box.) Supposed to have 2 wristbands and a card to use indoor pool, hottubs, sauna, gym... Had no wristbands and access card did not work for indoor pool or anywhere. Called and txtd vacasa about both problems, never fixed either one. After a bit they just stopped responding. We did get people inside to let us in a couple times. Still great vacation! Probably won't be using vacasa in future though.

Wonderful Stay Over Spring Break 2019

Our family of 4 traveled by car from Wisconsin to Alabama for Spring Break 2019. Before reaching the Gulf Coast, we stopped in Huntsville and stayed at the Doubletree and ate supper at diners-drive ins-and-divesā€™ recommended ā€œMetro 29 Dinerā€. Excellent food and service! The following morning we headed to the space & rocket museum in Huntsville where we spent the entire day. (If youā€™re driving, download the ā€œDDDā€ app - it takes the guessing out of where to stop for great food along the way.) Plantation Dunes is very easy to find and has great access to the white sand beach. Though we did not use them, the condo provides beach chairs, boogie boards, kites, fishing poles, etc., so no need to pack all that stuff. The condo was perfect for our small family and would be able to fit many more people if needed. We especially liked the ground floor access. We ventured out here and there during our 5-night stay to Flora-Bama, USS Alabama, the Hangout, Orange Beach, watched fishermen on the pier, Felixā€™s in Mobile for oysters, SasseBass Caribbean Grill, beaching, and hanging out at the front porch of the condo. The kids had a great time in the pool and in the gulf, throwing the football on the beach and just hanging out. Iā€™d recommend watching a few beautiful Gulf Coast sunrises by walking east past the tall condo building. As to sunsets, head west in Fort Morgan to Tacky Jackā€™s 2. You wonā€™t be disappointed. Day-walking toward the west is great as well. Fun to see such a variety of cool homes! This was our first time to the Gulf Shores area and we loved it!

Condo at Fort Morgan

Pros: The aspects of the condo set up were perfect. The pool was directly out the backdoor of this 1st floor condo, the beach boardwalk was literally to the left and a few steps to hit the beach. The onsite restaurant was a couple minute walk to the end of the building. Cons: This condo has not been taken care of. The place was falling apart, there was mold building around the shower, the shower head hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long, the light bulbs were out. The floor was dirty, the furniture was dirty/stained. Our comforter in one of the king bedrooms had stains all over it and should have been cleaned/swapped out when housekeeping came by. The electrical outlets were not secure (potential safety concern). Below the sink it looks like a solid leak occurred and no one cleaned up the mold/mildew mess (black and disgusting under the sink). The fans were not dusted. There is evidence of repairs but I could swear my elementary kid could do a better job. The bugs in the condo were gross, gnats flying around everywhere (simple blue light plug in would solve this) & a couple roaches. Overall, we enjoyed a majority of our stay and found ways to overcome the challenges and VACASA staff was easy to work with via text/phone call.

It was a great place.but dishes where in the cabinet with food still on them .was left 2 garbage bags to clean up .floors was still dirty should have been cleaned better. Key pad on door locked us out and could not get no one on the phone until next day luckily we got the other door to work.but room location was nice

We enjoyed our stay , and the place was just about perfect. Great location and everything you pretty much need right there. Only thing is I thought the pools would have been heated . With having small children with us they would of lived at the pool but the water was cold. We have stayed at a small place in the beach and they had a heated pool. So would of thought this big of place would of had that.

Great Condo

The condo is very pretty and comfortable and in a great location by the pool and beach. We like to grill and the grills are just a few steps out the door. Can get a little noisy since it's on the main path to the beach and other activities so not for those who want it super quiet.

Nice condo

The condo was nice. Loved that itā€™s right on the beach and next to the pool. The back door lock didnā€™t work so we could only use the front door unless we left it open, the showers head to the master bathroom was broken but still ran water. Over all it worked for us.
