Spacious house right on the beach! Back yard with maintained trail opens right onto the beach and living areas with gorgeous views of the ocean waves.
Cleaning service taking extra special care to sanitize after cleaning has already been done. Private road and rural quite peaceful neighborhood.
Large driveway for parking and small private wooded area in large front yard. Private maintained trail in backyard through grassy dunes right onto miles of beautiful beach. Enjoy the sunset and sunrise right from the couch, dinning room table, deck chair, or cozy-ed up in the master bedroom bed. Or enjoy it from right on the beach while clamming or beach combing or just relaxing in the sand or surf with the provided boogie boards.
On the second floor providing amazing views of the ocean are the main living and full kitchen (fully stocked), master bedroom with king sized bed with a view of the ocean and private bathroom with shower, 2 other bedrooms with queen sized beds, main bathroom with shower, laundry room and deck (with grill and patio furniture right out the sliding glass door from the dinning room). First floor has main entryway, 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and full bath with large jetted tub. Garages are locked off for owner storage.
The Pellet stove needs servicing and we recommend not using it at this time. Chimney cleaners donā€™t like our roof.

Family gathered together for a coastal Thanksgiving and this home provided plenty of space for 6 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. It's in a great, quiet location with lots of windows to sit inside and see the ocean and also has direct beach access out through the backyard. Gwen was a wonderful host. I reached out to her several times in advance of our trip and she responded quickly and was very friendly and accommodating.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as overall the home is a little worn, but it definitely still met our needs. Lighting was the one element we struggled with the most. The dining area where we played games most evenings could benefit from better overhead lighting, and a couple floor lamps in the living area would help a lot for evening use.We made some great memories and this home was a good fit for our family gathering.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beach house! The home is spacious and perfect for families or groups, with 5 comfortable bedrooms and 3 clean, well-appointed bathrooms. The views are absolutely stunning ā€” you can see and hear the ocean from several rooms. There are quite a few stairs, but they lead to breathtaking vantage points and a lovely deck area. Everything was spotless and exactly as described. Weā€™d definitely love to come back!ā€

The house was very comfy with the best ocean views you could ask for. We had an Amazing time! It could be a little cleaner as the kitchen was a little dirty but overall 5stars! We will be back!

We had 10 family members (adults) and 2 dogs, the house provided plenty of space for all. Everyone agreed it was a perfect place. We beach walked the beach, boogie boarded, went into Westport for lunches, and watched the ocean activity which included an amazing sunset.We hope to have another family gathering there. Thank you for sharing this home with us.

The house was perfect for our time away with friends. Having so many rooms and bathrooms was perfect, because we could spread out. The huge living room with the windows overlooking the beach made for a wonderful space to spend time inside and visit. The home could have been a little cleaner and areas do need some fixing and updating. The beach decor in each room made the home feel cozy, though, and we appreciated how close we were to the beach.

The property is really nice with ample space for my family and friends. We really enjoyed being able to watch the sunsets from the comfort of livingroom and deck. Having the beach close to house was a big plus. Will rent again. Hostess very helpful and easy to contact about any issue.

Amazing

This is such an incredible property! Everything about it is perfect. We stayed for a week for my parents 50th anniversary. It was a perfect size with room to spare. The living room, kitchen, and dining room were all so open and we felt like we were together no matter the room we were in. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The proximity to the beach is great and there are beach toys, body boards, and games to use. We would highly recommend you stay at this house! You wonā€™t be disappointed!

We love this house and its location. We were disappointed to find dirty, sandy floors (again). There was also lots of dog hair on one of the beds in the upstairs bedroom as well as throughout the house. The microwave doesnā€™t work and the outside grill is rusted out. I am really sorry to have to report this to you but we did last year as well and I think things are worse. It does not appear to beā€œmeticulously sanitized.ā€ as advertised.

This home provided us with exactly what we needed: great views, fairly easy walk to the beach, enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone's comfort, and a fully-stocked kitchen. The little extras make a big difference in case you forget something -- some spices, oils, aluminum foil. There were even sunscreen and bug repellent in the laundry area that came in very handy!

As a family who enjoys each otherā€™s company we enjoyed our recent stay. The multiple bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed the large living room space and the terrific ocean views. Overall the house was very comfortable.However there were issues that were very disappointing.The refrigerator, even on its highest setting was not food safe. It was over 50 degrees and ice cream thawed in the freezer. We had to use the freezer to chill beverages and rotate perishables to keep them cold.Some of the glassware and silverware were not dishwasher clean. Glasses were sticky and some silverware had food still stuck on them.The bbq grill was mostly unusable. It was dirty and the knobs for adjustment didnā€™t work.There was an invasion of tiny ants in the larger bedroom. Although there were ant traps out, they didnā€™t appear to be working. We added new traps that seemed to help.Overall the cleanliness was not as good as advertised.

Family Beach Time

Gwen's house is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The view is outstanding and the house is well equipped for staying in for cooked meals. The only downside was the stairs. In the listing, only one small set of stairs is visible. There is another whole staircase before the small one. It might be helpful to others if they are aware of this. One of the members in our group was over 80 years old and it was a little difficult at times. It's quite hard to haul a full cooler up too! (The cooler could be stored downstairs, however that wasn't very convenient for our group). All in all, I would highly recommend and would stay again.
