DESCRIPTION:
Fill your vacation with “mountain magic” that can be found throughout this dramatic chalet atop Wisp ski mountain. The quaint covered front porch guides you to a unique front door that opens to a beautiful and spacious great room with a visually striking wall of windows to bring in light and exceptional views. Enjoy dining outdoors on the large deck while grilling, or taking a soak in the hot tub on the lower level patio. A sizeable paved driveway provides plenty of parking for your large group with your toys. This chalet is located in a gated community that offers tennis courts, playground, pavilion, hiking trails, and dedicated lake access. Just a short drive to the ski slopes, whitewater course, and Deep Creek Lake, this chalet is in the heart of all the resort activities. This chalet has all the essentials you need with all the luxury you demand!

TOILETRIES & PAPER PRODUCTS: Bed linens and bath towels provided w/rental. No soaps, toiletries, paper products, trash bags, etc. will be provided with the exception of a welcome bag including a few starter items. Please pack accordingly.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. This policy is in place to help combat fraudulent activity that is more likely to occur in last-minute arrivals.

Our family reunion was marred by the house NOT being in good working order. We'll not be returning!

DISAPPOINTING! Couldn't control the thermostat and it was stuck on 55°-65°. The following day, the maintenance man said it was owner controlled and couldn't reach him. Said he'd be back or call, but he never did. Kitchen was 84°, upstairs loft was 86° -- UNACCEPTABLE! Dishwasher control buttons were broken and missing; ended up handwashing dishes from the night before just before checking out! The rubber sealing around the left refrigerator door was (and probably still is) hanging loose, so that door must be closed carefully first before closing the other side. This was very annoying, but such an easy fix. We felt there was no reason at all things should not have been in good working order!

Family Vaca on the Mountain

The house was able to accommodate our large family but we were disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the home. Also disappointed to not have access to the garage for storage of bikes, etc.

had an amazing vacation with family

The property was in need of a deep cleaning...however, whenever there was the problem it was address immediately. for instance the dryer would not work... they installed a new one the next day. Very accommodating and staff was friendly. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Great Birthday Weekend

My friends and I rented Mountain Magic to celebrate my birthday. The house is beautiful and in a great location - very easy to find. We loved the open floorplan and all the different levels to spread out. We all had our own bedrooms and speaking from experience the king bed was really comfortable. Other bonuses - the gas stove and Centipede arcade machine (though the roller ball could use a little WD-40). The house was clean and tidy. We were also surprised at the amount of pots/pans and cutlery available given that the check in sheet said that we should bring any special cooking items. There was a waffle maker, electric roaster and crock pot onsite, just to name a few specialty items. We did have to go out and buy a can opener because the two we found really didn't work. A couple items of note - given the slippery/snowy conditions it was difficult getting to the firepit. We brought wood with us, but it was too slippery even with proper shoes. A better path or designated staircase/steps directly from the house would have been a bonus and we probably would have braved the cold to make smores. Lastly, and this has nothing to do with our stay at the house, pay attention to the 4wd vehicle recommendation. Getting down the mountain was a bit precarious (I drive a Ford Escape). Did some slipping and sliding until I had to stop and wait for an accident to be cleared and the salt trucks to come by. Also, I didn't have any direct interaction with the property manager, but all the information provided was on point and timely. No issue using the app to check in, but it would not let me check out. We would definitely rent this property again!

Family vacation

The property and house were beautiful Great location , however the cleanliness was terrible . Under one of the beds were 3 beer cans , dirty tissues , food etc The stove and fridge doors were very dirty .. we enjoyed the place however the cleanliness definitely dropped my ratings

Decent property, poorly managed and bad communication

Where to start... provided the wrong passcode and WiFi to and in the house. It didn’t appear that the house was cleaned as we decided it was best to do ourselves since we had small kids in the house, and what we found was disturbing as the amount of dirt and dust throughout the house pointed out. The master shower had visible mold. One of the other shower heads leaked so basically down two showers during our stay. That said, the worse part of the experience is the unannounced visits by different people to do things around the house. While we completely understand how some things have to get done, not being told things were scheduled during this pandemic made it extremely difficult to enjoy our vacation. We rented a house secluded so that we could enjoy our families company and not have to worry about exposing ourselves to anyone outside of our family. With people doing yard work and wanting to work on outside faucets next to the hot tub really ruined our experience.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I enjoyed this property, it’s set up etc. the only issue that I had is I had stayed in, i believed it was called home sweet home and that was a super stocked kitchen and I was expecting this place to be the same way and it wasn’t so that was a bit disappointing in addition to not be able to use the garage as I did there.

Amazing House
