# Important House Rules & Guest Information

To preserve the peaceful experience of Hale Loke and respect our neighbors, all guests agree to follow the following guidelines:

### Occupancy & Noise

* Maximum occupancy is **6 guests**, including children over age 2.
* No unauthorized overnight guests are permitted.
* Quiet hours are **10:00 PM – 7:00 AM daily**.
* Local patrol services monitor the community routinely.
* No excessive noise, parties, or disruptive behavior.

### Parking & Vehicles

* Maximum of **2 vehicles** allowed unless approved in advance.
* Parking on grass or streets is prohibited.
* Garage access is not available for guests.

### Smoking & Fire Safety

* Smoking is strictly prohibited inside or outside the property.
* Evidence of smoking may result in a minimum **$250 cleaning charge**.
* No fireworks, open fires, or fire-related activities are permitted.

### Property Care

Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

* Please report any damage before departure.
* Missing or damaged items may be charged accordingly.
* Pool table/billiards use is at guest discretion. Damage may result in charges up to $1,000.
* Security deposit authorization may apply for damages ranging from **$250–$1,000**.

### Safety

* Do not walk on or climb onto the roof for any reason.
* Please notify the host if smoke detectors are not functioning properly.
* The home may require occasional entry during reasonable hours for maintenance, repairs, or property care.

### Items Left Behind

The host is not responsible for personal belongings left after checkout. If retrieval and shipping are requested, a minimum $25 service fee plus shipping costs may apply.

### Additional Services

Mid-stay housekeeping and trash removal may be available for an additional fee. Please inquire before arrival.

### Amenities & Supplies

Complimentary amenities are provided for your convenience. Guests are responsible for replenishing personal supplies during their stay, including:

### Weather & Natural Events

Kauai is a tropical island and weather conditions can change quickly. Refunds related to storms or hurricanes are only provided when required by official government evacuation orders or applicable emergency declarations.
