Professionally built vacation rental with charm and comfort! This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage is steps from the sandy beach featuring shallow, calm waters and fantastic sunsets.

The cottage is fully equipped with a fabulous kitchen, WiFi, cable TV, and washer-dryer. Linens and bath towels are included. The first floor main bedroom features a queen size bed with pillow top mattress. The upstairs bedroom is home to a full size bed, half bath, and lounge area with DirecTV. The outdoor areas feature a back deck with grill, table with umbrella, and an upstairs balcony with a peak of the water - perfect for your morning coffee or evening cocktail.

Bayside Beach House is located steps from the Chesapeake Bay and is perfect for a couple's retreat, a family vacation, a girls/guys weekend away, or a writer or artist who needs some peace and quiet.

My husband and I loved the cottage. Great location on a quiet street. Interior was spotless and beautifully decorated. And one of the best things was the fully furnished kitchen. We plan on returning next year!

Awesome place!

Awesome place! Clean - easy - excellent communication from owner - comfortable - simple. The beach is a quick one-block walk. It was a perfect place to have a simple getaway weekend with the family and just slow down.

Rockhall Visit

We thoroughly enjoyed the location & Rock Hall community. The property was within walking distance of my triathlon event. The accommodations were GREAT. Considering returning next year for the Triathlon Festival

Couldn’t have asked for more.

There were 4 of us that deer hunt on a property nearby. The check in process was seamless, the cottage is cute, clean, very well equipped with amenities such as a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, hairdryer and 3 TV sets. The place was perfect for us. I hope to be able to stay there again next year.

Perfect grade school spring break trip

Great trip, restaurants were back open for the season and the beach was super close. This was our third trip to this house and we will be back.

Loved my Rock Hall rental!

The cottage is very clean, has updated kitchen appliances and other nice amenities. I was sad that the weather was cold because I would have loved to sit out on the deck and enjoy the sun. There isn't a picture online, but there is a nice sitting room just off of the kitchen that has an electric fireplace. All items were in working order and the owners were great communicators and the check in process was simple. Places that we loved: Assateague Island - We saw plenty of wild horses and enjoyed walking along the beach. A long drive at 2.5 hours but worth it. Village Quilting - If you love to quilt or just love fabric do not miss this!! Fresh Start Food - Good subs and quality fruits and veggies Java Rock Coffee - Great sandwiches and coffee Sweet Cheeks - Baked treats

Adorable Cottage

This was a great cottage, perfect for a long weekend getaway/wedding. Very clean, nice amenities and the beach is around the corner. Within walking distance to Harbor Shack and Waterman’s restaurants and short distance into town.

Perfect Getaway!

Tucked away in a quiet place near the water, it was the perfect girls getaway. Very quaint little cottage (plenty of room for two of us) and quaint little village. We truly enjoyed our time and appreciated the owner's recommendations. Thank you!

A Great Weekend Getaway

The house itself was really great - it looks small but it's really the perfect size for our family of 4. It's not too far of a walk to the little beach, and though the beach area was truly small (maybe 50 yards across?), it was more than enough for my kids to dig and splash and play, and for my wife and I to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets together. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring with ship yards, marsh lookouts, and even a backyard bamboo "100-Acre Woods"! I should mention that there was an ant problem in the kitchen and that some hooks, artwork, and mirrors weren't installed very strongly. The house made for a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable weekend away with my family!

Great weekend getaway

The house is immaculate and cozy, perfect size for a family with two kids. We enjoyed relaxing, taking walks to the small beach nearby and spending a day in Chestertown. The local coffee shop in Rock Hall - Java Rock - is great, and I recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a relaxing change of scenery, particularly if you're like us and working from home every day.

The cottage was adorable and beautifully decorated. I literally told my family in Indiana that I wish it was my house and I could stay there forever. I don’t have anything that I can recommend but a liquid measuring cup. Thank you for the wonderful stay and lovely accommodations!

Serene, beautiful, relaxing

My husband and I needed a weekend escape and this lovely cottage in the peaceful waterfront community of Rock Hall more than delivered. This cottage is really something special - beautifully designed and decorated, extremely well appointed, light filled, roomy, and immaculate. It would easily accommodate 4-5 people comfortably and is well located. Our visit was off season, which was perfect for our need to escape and relax, it we could see what a wonderful experience Rock Hall when the ice and snow gives way to sunshine, bike rides, and water fun. Melissa is a terrific host - responsive communication when needed and obviously dedicated to giving her guests an excellent experience. We look forward to returning!

Nice quick getaway

We stayed for a long weekend (cut short because of the snow storm) and really enjoyed our time. The house was extremely clean and we had nearly everything we needed. The decor is adorable, the furniture and beds were comfortable, and it was so great to be within a five minute walk of the bay. The town of Rock Hall is also really cute and we also enjoyed walking through Chestertown and going to all the shops. Only two things we would have loved are more throw blankets and curtains on some of the windows in the main room. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Rock Hall Delight

This cottage in Rock Hall is new, cozy and well equipped. It’s just about a block from a sandy beach with access to the Bay. Melissa is extremely helpful. Rock Hall is very tiny, particularly in winter, but it’s only about a 20 minute drive to Chestertown.

Sparkling clean and relaxing atmosphere

Everything about staying here was easy and pleasant! We got an email when the cottage was ready for check-in ahead of time. The space was impeccably clean and bright. Everything feels new and uncluttered. The kitchen was well-equipped. You can see the bay from a few windows. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to "Main Street" Rock Hall area. Would absolutely recommend for a getaway, even in the off season.

Wonderful getaway

Covid friendly escape for New Years. Good location for close walk to the beach with kids and a trip to the Eastern Neck nature preserve. House was decorated for Christmas, which was a pleasant surprise.
