Great location. FYI. 3 stories plus a 1 story walk up. Tricky staircase and walk up with loose bricks. Wouldnā€™t stay with toddlers. Place could use a refresher paint job. But other than that it was clean, bathrooms were nice, and a/c worked great.

We had a nice stay at this lovely home, which was well-equipped for our family of six. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy our time together. The location was great, being close to Lake Arrowhead Village. Although parking was a bit of a challenge, it didn't detract from our overall experience. Highly recommend.

So many stairs!

Overall the property was good! For anyone considering booking this property, the driveway is steap and narrow, but does fit 2 cars. It can be challenging to park in though. There are steap stairs from the drivway to the door, and the entry is on the lower level, not the "main level" pictured in the photos. There are two bedrooms on the lower level, up the stairs is the kitchen, dining, and living area plus a bathroom. Up on the top level is two more bedrooms and the second bathroom. Just be prepared that it is a lot of stairs and going up and down to load and unload can leave you winded!The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and the beds were comfortable. I recommend inspecting the beds before sleeping, I found someone's fake eyelashes stuck to one of the duvets. There were plenty of sheets and pillow cases in the closets, so I assume (hope) those are changed regularly but the lashes weren't a good sign about the duvets and blankets. Also the east facing window in the room with 3 beds gets a lot of sun in the morning. We used a pillow case turcked around the blinds to block it out after it woke the kid up early our first morning.Aside from some ants creeping in through the fireplace, everything else was great. The location was nice, the house was comfortable and we had a good time.

Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The cleanliness was truly impressive. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, with such positive energy that made us feel right at home.One thing to note, however, is the number of stairs throughout the property. it might be a bit challenging if youā€™re traveling with elderly family members, as we were.

Nice location and comfortable beds!

Really nice location for our ski trip (we went to snow valley). It is an 4 min drive to the village and there are some beautiful trails around to walk. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything except oil for cooking. The floors were a bit ā€œsootyā€ and there were a few clusters of ants. The parking situation was also very tricky for 2 SUVs. Overall the checkin and out process was great! We would likely recommend except for the ant situation. Thanks for a great weekend overall!

Lovely Vacay

The house is very beautiful and you'll have all the comforts of a home. The kitchen items are complete even condiments. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The living room is great and it was nice to play our cards and board games at night. The only problem was that my sister had a foot problem and there were many stairs for her to go up and down as this is 3 level-stories high and there are a lot of steps too from the driveway to the house- so not good for her, but everything else is great! We all enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you for the nice stay!!!

Great Mountain Getaway

We stayed over the Thanksgiving Holiday and found the property to be very clean, well cared for, and complete with everything needed to prepare a full holiday meal. The property has just what you would expect for a very comfortable stay at a mountain cabin. Beds were very comfortable with lots of blankets and pillows. We were surpised by and appreciated the fully decorated Christmas tree in the living room, and all of the throw blankets for use while sitting by the fireplace. It's a great location minutes from the Lake Arrowhead Village for shopping, restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back patio with plenty of seating and views. Though the description of the property was very clear on the amount of stairs, we didn't pay as much attention to that information as we maybe should have. There is a substantial elevation change and stairs from the driveway to the entry door, then 3 floors once inside, We certainly got our steps in! The communication and information provided by the host made the stay much easier and was complete and accurate. We only had a couple of questions for him mostly dealing with the TV system, and he was responsive and accessable.

Lovely stay in the mountains!

We had a lovely stay at whispering Pines in Lake arrowhead! The house was comfortable and clean and perfect for our family (and Dog). Beds were super comfortable, neighborhood nice and quiet to enjoy the fresh Mountainaire and super close to everything (Village and Skypark). Check in and communication with property manager was easy. Only thing worth mentioning, which has already been shared in other reviews is the narrow steep driveway, which was challenging with an SUV and unloading kids, and the steep stairs. We managed fine, but I could imagine in snow would be challenging!

Relaxing weekend

We had an amazing mini vacation, unfortunately it was gloomy and supper foggy so we werenā€™t able to explore the area as much as I would have liked. We also werenā€™t able to go to the lake but we took our time there to relax with a nice cup of coffee and sometimes hot chocolate (early Christmas Vibe)

The place is beautiful, clean, and centrally located. We enjoyed our stay here. The only minor thing that was a little challenging was parking and getting our big SUV out of the narrow driveway. We eventually figured it out so itā€™s not a big deal.

Few things to consider

The property was as pictured, however, what wasnā€™t pictured was the issue. The entrance is up 2 steep flights of stairs and then inside are steep stairs as well. Because the floor is laminate the stairs are extremely slippery. The owner has a small note on the wall but even with that, my 8 year old slipped down 2 steps and I slipped down 3 steps even with the railing. My parents (early 70ā€™s) struggles on the upper landing because the railing didnā€™t go all the way to the upper landing. Just something to consider. The driveway as everyone else mentioned is an issue. Itā€™s very narrow and our car (Ford Explorer) only had enough room to park and have only the drivers door barely open. You canā€™t unpack a car while in the driveway. The pitch is about 35 degrees so you need to have some ability to get your car up the steepness. However the main living area was just as pictured and the check in / out process was great. Would stay here again except for the stair and parking issue.

Nice Place

This was a nice place to stay and close to everything. This is not a property for people with trouble going up and down stairs. The property manager was pleasant and a great communicator.

Great stay

Stayed here in order to attend a friends wedding. Great location. Very convenient check in and instructions were great. Driveway is a little sketch but the home was perfect for a group of 8 adults
