Winter Monthly Rates- $3000, plus taxes and fees. Please inquire for monthly rate as our system quotes based off of a daily rate.

Large beautiful 3br/2ba home, with pool, private, large yard. Come enjoy the day at the beach and then relax by the Pool. This home has a lot to offer, very spacious, fully equipped kitchen, & large bedrooms. Large patio for entertaining, lots of room for your boat or RV. Just 10 Minutes to Carrabelle Beach, 25 Minutes to St. George Island, 30 Minutes to Apalachicola. The hot tub is not functioning at this time.

Close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course and Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 hole Play golf course designed by Robert Walker. The Famous Crooked River Grill is just 5 minutes away.

Nice hidden gem 2 minutes from a boat ramp. While this house is slightly dated, the Spanish style home was great for a quiet family vacation. Master bed was very comfortable and rental property manger(s) were very responsive.

A nice property

Overall the property is really nice. It was nice to have such a large area to be in between the house, pool house and pool area. Some of the things at the house are a little tired and could use a little attention like the pool chairs. We did really enjoy the convenience of the pool and once the kiddos figured out how to play pool, they were hooked there as well. Overall an affordable property in a nice quiet area.

Great place to stay!

We love Carrabelle, we have stayed at a couple of other place in the past, we had friends with us this time so we needed a larger place. This place was great! The only negative thing I can say is (as other reviewers have said) the hot tub doesn’t work. The house, pool, and pool house were great though! Some reviews said the house wasn’t stocked, if you are expecting a “hotel experience” you never get that when renting a home or condo, always bring a few items with you or buy them when you arrive (a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, and maybe some napkins) they provide 1 roll of TP for each bathroom, and 1 roll of paper towels, but if you are staying longer than 3 or 4 days you may need to grab some more. Like I said before, the lighthouse was great we will be back!

Very comfortable house and pool. All outside lights were inoperable.

House was clean and stocked - very quiet neighborhood- 5-10 minutes from shops, restaurants and public beach. We didn’t spend any time outside after dark because there were no working lights. Minor repairs would make this place perfect.

June stay

Property is much larger than originally thought it would be. We have a large family with lots of kids pool was still large enough for everyone to have a good time. Only draw back is unable to locate really good food in the area, but it’s not a fault of the home. Would stay again.

Great VRBO experience!

This home has a great location in Franklin County. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was well appointed and the VRBO description was accurate. We had an excellent stay.

Secluded peaceful home

The home was clean. I couldn’t get majority of the tv’s to work but at least the one in the main room worked. A lot of switches for the outside either didn’t work or couldn’t figure out what switch went to what. Would of been great if they had the kitchen a tiny bit stocked (condiments/minimal cooking supplies) but that’s okay since it wasn’t a long stay. The pool house was a little dirty and none of the fans worked in there (not that it mattered since I didn’t really use that area). Hot tub is still out of commission so it probably should just be covered up since it was dirty. The home in general was in a very quiet area, great for seeing the stars at night. Home just needs some TLC since it seems some of the home is being neglected (small maintenance of the home) so it can stay a great rental for years to come.

Outstanding

We stayed here over Christmas. The layout of the house is fantastic. The furniture is so comfortable and welcoming. The pool area fabulous. Overall everything is outstanding. The area has so much to offer as well.

Great place overall but needs significant maintenence in several areas

We loved the house overall and the property managers at Sandy Beach were great. They sent a repair person out over an issue I only reported to them related to other renters potentially getting injured later, I never asked them to fix it the same day for me personally. The actual owner of the property simply needs to put some money into repairs. The towel bar fell off the wall, there's no cover over the AC light above the shower and the shower head can rotate upward, the Direct TV in the living room shuts down over an overheating issue because it's a very old box, the AC units in the pool house haven't worked in at least a year based on other reviews and there's mold growing in parts of it (it stank so bad I didn't want to walk in) just to name a few. Definitely don't plan to make use of the pool table, workout equipment, or the pool house itself; but the actual pool itself was nice. On the good side, the kitchen has new appliances and the master bedroom mattress was comfortable. We did enjoy our stay overall, I just wanted to leave an honest review regarding the maintenance issues so future renters can make a decision on what matters to them. If I'd shown up with several kids, that living room TV issue would have made my vacation miserable I'm sure. Luckily I was traveling with only my wife and I brought my own Fire TV stick. I would rent this home again, but I do hope they spend some money on some much needed maintenance. It's a shame for such a nice place to rot away. Also, be sure to bring everything you think you may need to cook and clean, there's very little provided on site.

Awesome house and location!

We loved our stay at the Lighthouse! The house is wonderful for a family, very spacious. Had a great porch, amenities, hot tub, screened in patio, and the pool is wonderful and very clean! The only issue we had was the house being poorly stocked with not enough basic supplies for 5 days (had to buy dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent and trash bags), and dishes were left in the cabinet dirty from the previous tenant. Small inconveniences for overall a good experience. The neighborhood was beautiful, very peaceful and we were just a short drive from the beach, good restaurants, hiking trails, and a short drive to appalachicola. Would stay here again!

Vacation 2021

Very clean, private, on a quiet street. The only issues we had was the hot tub wasn't any warmer than the pool and it must have a leak because it was low each day.

Absolutely Amazing!!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Lighthouse! The home is absolutely beautiful! We spent the majority of our time in the pool house and pool. The kids loved playing pool and swimming. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have been on. Carrabelle has always been our home away from home as my sister lived there for several years. We have stayed in many rentals in Carrabelle and St George Island but I have to say this was by far one of the best places we have stayed. We will definitely rent again. Thank you for allowing us in to your home!

Nice house, great price.

For the money I have nothing to complain about, this was great, comfortable, very enjoyable and convenient for our stay in the area. The house is older and could use some repairs, the lack of AC in the pool table/workout area especially, but it worked great for our family and the price couldn't be beat. Would definitely stay again, in fact my kids are already missing the (very..unusual) serving bar above the stove and into their bedroom :)
