Quiet country get-a-way. Located in beautiful west central Illinois, just 45 minutes from Abraham Lincoln's Home, Springfield, IL and 45 minutes from Mark Twain's home in Hannibal, MO.

Families, hunters, artist, writers or anyone looking to get away from the stresses of life. Clear your mind and unplug in a cultural retreat. Our retreat is just minutes from some of the best deer hunting in Illinois. A large yard provides lots of space for families to enjoy the outdoors. There is a patio with table and chairs on the back deck, or sit on the front porch and relax. Located Ā¼ mile off the road. Enjoy your privacy.

Unique photo opportunities of llamas in the pasture just in front of the house. Wildlife is often grazing in the hay field and surrounding timber. It is not unusual to see white tail deer, turkeys, rabbits, squirrels and other wildlife.
Fishing and boating opportunities await, the Illinois River is just minutes away. Bicycle the country roads.

The house is fully furnished. The kitchen has full size appliances, utensils, pots and pans, dishes, are all provided for your convenience. If you want to cook a full meal you will have everything you need to cook and serve, except the food.

Three bedrooms with queen size beds are complete with pillows and bedding. Two bedrooms share a bath, the other bedroom has a private bath.
The large living room has gas fireplace to take the chill off the cooler days and nights. Play board or card games provided.

Laundry room has washer, dryer and iron.

Two bathrooms, one with tub and shower and the other has shower only.

Two car garage.

Internet and 55 inch Roku smart television are provided.

Restaurants close by in Bluffs approximately 5 miles : Plackeā€™s Drive In, serve sandwiches, ice cream daily hot plate meal, Bluejay Junction has pizza and snacks, Pokerā€™s Bar & Grill serves sandwiches and a daily special.
Evandyā€™s Boatel is located in Naples approximately 8 miles: If you enjoy the view of the river and good food this is the spot.
River Bank Bar and Grill located on the Illinois River edge in Florence IL approximately 6 miles.

Best little getaway!

Our stay at the Llama Fun Guest House was incredible! We got to tour the grounds and meet the llamas and then relaxed in the very spacious and clean house! Kris and Terry were very welcoming and we felt right at home there. We will definitely be back!

Great respite in the country!

The kids & I had a great time at the llama farm! The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, and Kris & Terry were amazingly hospitable. It was a nice way to unplug from the usual rat race. Looking forward to staying there again!

We really enjoyed the house, the llamas, and the entire property. K and T are wonderful hosts. The view of the woods off the back of the house is really serene. We did fires every nightā€”both inside about out!

Great Place!

This was the perfect spot to get a good night's sleep but it would be even better for a more extended, relaxing getaway. I've never seen a vacation rental so well stocked! Anything you could ever need is there. The llamas and the sweet poodle were just the icing on the cake.

Great time

My family and me rented this property to stay at while we visited family. We really enjoyed our experience. The house itself is very pretty and nicely furnished. My kids enjoyed seeing the lamas, they even got to pet a few. We will remember this listing and hope availability will line up with our next trip.

Lots of Llama Fun

Clean, cozy, comfortable, country living. Hosts are friendly as are their dogs. The hostess even allowed us to pet a llama! This is my first choice of places to stay when I work in Jacksonville or Meredosia, IL.

Country Experience Right Off The Highway

We had an amazing overnight stay here! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us! Kind and helpful hosts and a wonderful opportunity to learn about and have a hands on experience with llamas. Fun for all ages and a peaceful location. I really enjoyed my coffee on the porch in the rocking chair watching the llamas before all the kids got out of bed :)

This is halfway between my BFF in Missouri and my house in Illinois. Iā€™m so glad we found this place and plan on meeting up way more often now. The house is very clean and comfortable. We will be back for sure!

Relaxing and Comfortable

Such a nice, relaxing, calm and comfortable retreat for the end of the work day. Easy to relax sitting on the porch watching the llamas or hang out in the living area or enclosed porch. Nice, big dining room table for all of us to work at as a group. This will be our first choice every time we come to town as a group.
