Avoid the drive into Rocky Mountain National Park by hiking just one block from this cabin on Deer Ridge into the park; you can climb the gorgeous Deer Mountain Trail to the summit for some of the best views in Estes Park.

Overall great. King bed was super comfortable, which is typically not the case with rentals so that was an added bonus.

Beautiful cozy cabin. Easy to find. Excellent location and perfectly clean. The instructions included washer and dryer plus a hot tub, but they were not in the property and we were a little confuse by that. Also the lock out was a little confusing with the key pad so it took us a little bit more than 10 mins to figure out how to lock the door.

Great location

Close to the park. Plenty of towels. The house was not very clean. The guest bathroom was not very clean. One of the bunkbeds didn’t have any bedding. I would not stay here again.

Wildlife Galore

We had an amazing stay at this home. It is a charming home with a wonderful history. When you stay, you can tell that a lot of love was put into the home. It was perfectly equipped for us to cook at home and to have a place to relax after long days hiking or traveling in the park. I’ll admit that I was a bit nervous about not having any air conditioning being the Georgia girl that I am, but it wasn’t bad. The afternoons were a little warm, but by dusk, the temperature dropped enough that it was quite pleasant. And, overnight, with the windows open, it was very cool. The location is amazing! It is literally right outside the Beaver Meadows entrance to the park which was extremely helpful when managing our timed entries. Now for the wildlife! We saw so much wildlife just from the porch and sunroom! Several mama elk with their babies, a few bill elk with massive antlers, mule deer, rabbits, and a plethora of birds! We loved staying at the cabin and would definitely recommend staying here to others!

Mountain Home

Great location. Close to Deer Mountain to hike. Short drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mtn National Park entrance. But it Does not have washer and dryer. No working dishwasher. Can’t open windows. Oven didn’t work well. Did not have many staples that I expected would be there. Would not stay at this location again.

Convenient, clean and roomy

Easy to find and close to the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and a grocery. There was plenty of room for 3 adults and a teenager to spread out. It was clean. The mattress on the bunk bed I slept on was too soft and therefore a bit uncomfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and serviceware and the only way it could have been better would be if there was on-site laundry. Also, I was told that the trash day info could be found in the house but I never found it.

Charming, clean and comfortable

The property is immaculately clean with cheerful decor. We loved hanging out on the deck, but also felt connected with the outdoors by opening the plentiful windows around the cabin. A warning that the WiFi is spotty at best, so make sure you have data as a backup if you’ll need to reserve timed-entry Park permits or do any trail research. A new router was ordered during our stay since the WiFi was out at the cabin; unfortunately, same-day service isn’t available in the mountains, so we were given the neighboring property’s password to use during our stay. The location is great - so close to the park and trails. If you’re looking for something to do, be sure to open the coffee table’s hinged lid to find board games. The main room television wasn’t working, but we didn’t contact the owners about it. It may have just been an old set of remote batteries or a case of special operating instructions needed. This Colorado trip was exactly what our family needed, and this cabin was a great place to spend it.

Perfect location!

Communication was great. Had one issue that was resolved in less than 2 hours. Location is phenomenal. 5 mins from the entrance to RMNP. Cabin was the perfect size for our family of 5. Would def stay here again!

Perfect Family Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5, it’s actually bigger than it looks in the photos. The kids loved the bunk room and the main bedroom and bathroom are very big and modern. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities, there are board games, and a cute little tree swing outside. The beds are really firm and it was spotlessly clean. The location was one of the best parts of the cabin - minutes to RMNP and about 5 minutes from downtown. We saw a family of deer and some elk in the neighborhood. Overall we loved it here and would definitely stay again.

Great location close to RMNP and wildlife

4.5 stars. Pros: - excellent location. Close to RMNP, market, and supply store. - beautiful scenery and close to nature. Elk literally live in the backyard. My wife saw a herd of twenty elk passing by. - great customer service (the listing showed a W/D, but there wasn’t one. The local Vacasa representative gave us a partial refund which is the best she could do.) - good equipment in kitchen. We’ll supplied with towels. Clean. Very comfortable beds (including KB) Cons: - no W/D. We appreciate the partial refund but tbh we wouldn’t have booked this place had we known in advance. - TV is intermittent. The local Vacasa rep was very helpful with both of these issues. but we would have preferred a W/D and working TV. That’s just our personal preference, not a knock on the place itself. All in, it’s clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location. For our personal preference, the lack of a W/D would make it harder for our family for a longer stay.

Great access to RMNP

This home was in an awesome location, just outside of the access gate for Rocky Mountain National Park. Our family of six was very comfortable in the space. Wi-Fi access was spotty. The home’s Wi-Fi was down, so we were given access info for the neighbor’s Wi-Fi. It worked, but had a weaker signal because of the distance. Luckily the weather cooled off in the evenings as the home does not seem have AC. We were very happy with our stay.

The interior has been redone and a great layout. Just a great place to stay. It just outside the ...

Every thing you need is right there and extremely pleasant. Well equipped. Open all the windows for a Rocky Mountain cross draft, no air conditioning. However we were there in July and made it just fine. You are surrounded by windows and great views. House on east a bit close but no problem. We loved it.

Incredible mountain cabin

This home was clean and spacious with amazing views from every window. Close to the park entrance and grocery store. The bathrooms were updated and windows too. We saw elk and deer all around us and spent most of our nights stargazing from the deck. There was plenty of bedding and towels and a fully stocked kitchen and coffee maker. We loved it here and would book again!

Great views from every window, easy drive to downtown shopping, restaurants and RMNP. Plenty of towels, dishes and extras to make our stay pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Week-long Get Away

This cabin was perfect for the four of us! The kitchen was well equipped for all cooking scenarios, the view was beautiful, there was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax, and we were close to hiking down the road or a couple of minutes to the entrance to the park. We loved it! Thank you to the Lemkuehl's for sharing their property.

Great Cabin with a View

We were happy with this cabin and the location. It was close to RMNP and very clean. I like how the property owners kept the cabin looking rustic but also implemented updates. Only complaints- the coffee pot wasn’t working and not enough dish towels. We enjoyed our stay!

Kong’s Peak View

I’ve stayed in this cabin 2 times. It has been recently updated since the last time. Convenient location to RMNP Beaver Meadows entrance and to Downtown Estes. Very clean, had everything we needed. We enjoyed the sun rise on Long’s Peak and then each evening looking at the stars. I hope to visit again.

Summer weekend family getaway

I was pleasantly suprised at how nice this cabin actually was in person! It had everything you would need for a weekend getaway with your family and kids such as; kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, extra clean sheets, blankets and towels, they even had toy bins for the kids!!! We had 2 toddlers with us and I have to say that was a very nice touch. We didnt know about all the extra things they provided because it doesnt state it on the websit so unfortunately we over packed. If you stay here during the summer make sure to bring extra fans because it gets hot!!!! The only complaint I have is that the housekeepers had all SIX heaters (yes six) on when we arrived and it was 80+ degrees outside. This made it extremely uncomfortable to unpack and relax! Once we got it cooled down we had a great weekend!! Absolutely loved it!
