This dog-friendly and secluded cabin is situated on three peaceful acres of land with no other homes in sight. A creek is located on the property, and there is an outdoor firepit so you can truly lean into the woodsy experience during your stay. A screened-in porch and tons of outdoor seating offer a great place to relax and enjoy the cabin's lush acreage, and there is also a hammock available! The bathroom has been newly remodeled.

What's Nearby:
The charming home is located 16 miles from Lake Blue Ridge for fishing, boating, and other water activities. The city of Blue Ridge is only eight miles from your door, and the popular Morganton Point Recreation Area is a mere 12 miles away. The cabin is just a short drive away from Blue Ridge where guests will find access to shopping.

Return customer!

This was our second time staying at this sweet little getaway, and we really enjoy it. It's quiet and secluded, while still a short drive to town. We enjoyed the creek and walks up and down the private road, lazy afternoons on the hammock, and quiet evenings in.

Critter cabin

Critter cabin because of the amount of live bugs/ spiders not only outside on the patio but INSIDE as well, it was a young boys delight. The creek was beautiful once I cleared all the poison ivy away from the banks and we continued with the critters such as snapping turtle (laying eggs!) a few salamanders, more spiders, and some rocks. The wasps and hornets were less than ideal especially the nests under the chairs around the fire pit. So peek before you sit as that wasnā€™t a young boys delight. But another delight of both my sonā€™s was that the back door didnā€™t lock (nope not at all) and they would hoping a bear would visit us! But for safety sake, seriously, a deadbolt on the back door especially since you are extremely secluded.

Could not have been better!

Property was comfortable and clean. It was wonderful to walk outside and through the stream. Great outdoor fire pit with seating. Located 15-20 minutes from downtown shopping.

Peaceful, quaint and relaxing

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We relaxed, enjoyed nature and enjoyed each other. The house was clean and inviting.

Nice Cabin for Peace and Quiet

If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you. Very clean for a place that allows pets. Our dog had a ball on the acreage and playing in the creek. Town is not that far away so it is convenient to Restaurants and stores. Thank you for a relaxing vacation.

1st stay with Vacasa

Was very disappointed with Vacasa willingness to accommodate an early check in when clearly the property was available. We were in town early with groceries and no where to go for over 2 hours. Also the only real complaint I see with the property was the Shower water pressure. otherwise was a great location

Great Cabin, Very Isolated

If you're looking to get away from it all, this cabin is for you. You cannot see another home from the property (at least in the summer, the winter may be different). The online pictures are accurate and it was very clean. The common areas of the cabin are generously spacious and filled with comfy furniture. And who can say no to rocking chairs on a porch? Not us, for sure. Wi-Fi on the property is great, but can be sketchy in the surrounding areas, so download maps or directions before you leave for new adventures.

The Perfect Secluded Getaway

This cabin was an absolute dream. It was tucked away in a serene and peaceful location, surrounded by lush trees and the tranquil sounds of the stream. One of the best parts of my stay was being able to bring my dogs along with me. They absolutely loved exploring the surrounding areas and playing in the stream. It was so nice to have them with me and not have to worry about leaving them behind. The cabin itself was comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was cozy, and the living room had a lovely fireplace that made for a perfect evening of snuggling up with a book. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway in nature. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and I can't wait to go back.

Awesome cabin!

We loved the fact there was no cell service that way we could really disconnect. Even though we still had Wi-Fi we rarely used it. This cabin is nice and secluded so you have privacy.

Cabin in the hills

Nice location, beautiful country. Nice basic house. Front porch was so pretty but couldn't enjoy due to HUGE spiderwebs and spiders etc. 1 bedroom mattress extremely bad shape and uncomfortable. House had unpleasant odor we noticed right away which never went away. Washing machine was very rough but did it's job. Feel that if u don't mind a more rugged type of comfort???, u would be fine here. TLC would really make this a nice and enjoyable place.
