Escape to our 4-bedroom 3 full bath vacation home in the heart of Snow Ridge Village at Jack Frost. Walk to the slopes - a few minutes' to the slopes of Jack Frost Ski Mountain Resort. Jack Frost is an Epic Pass member.
This beautiful house is minutes from Split Rock Resort Waterpark, Lake Harmony and Big Boulder, the Pocono Raceway, Kalahari Resort Waterpark and Casino, Holy Ghost Distillery, Jim Thorpe River Adventure and Rafting, Short ride to the quaint village of Jim Thorpe and many wineries. Outstanding golfing with ranked Jack Frost National Golf course 2 miles away, 27 holes of mountain golf at Split Rock and classic challenging courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Donald Ross. Three state parks within 15 minutes - Hickory Run, Lehigh Gorge and Lehigh Parks including 'Rails to Trails' paralleling the Lehigh River from White Haven to Jim Thorpe.

Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working. And the ski in and ski out area was down at the end of the street, not outside of the individual unit.Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay, and the unit was sufficient for our group.

thanks for your review - always welcome commentary.. Yes, the -10 degree weather froze a pipe, burst a connection and burned out the motor, rendering the hot tub unusable. The jacuzzi tub is the back up and we refunded the tub fee. Re the ski-in/out, the snow for most of Jan-Feb did allow ski-in/out but this March it involved a 5 minute walk to the slopes.

Fantastic location for JFBB. Easy on/off the mountain. Check-in was easy and Jim was very communicative adn helpful. The house had all we needed to make for a great trip.

Awesome trip

This house is perfect for a skiing vacation, especially with little ones. The house is spacious, very clean and well-stocked. We were able to ski or walk to Jack Frost in a matter of minutes, which made skiing with the kids very easy. We would definitely stay here again!

We rented the house for short holiday getaway for my family. My kids are beginner skiers and we wanted to give them an opportunity to ski for a few days. The house location was great, the kids could get right on the mountain from house. Everything was in great shape and my family enjoyed their stay!

Perfect for our ski weekend. Even though we didn’t have snow to ski in ski out it was close enough to the slope to walk. The house had the perfect layout and space for our family and friends. Quiet area. Def will keep on my fav list

New Years on the mountain

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was spacious. Everything we needed for the whole family was provided. (except Towels, bring your own, but we were informed of this before we went, so not a problem) Hot Tub was perfect way to soothe my old back after a fun day on the slopes. Walk to mtn was quick (about a 2 minute walk). Will definitely book this unit again if available in the future.

Where do I start? I’ll give you the pros and the cons. I’ll start with the cons because there are many. Cons: The property had not cleaned In a long while there were cobwebs on roof corners in every bedroom of the house. There are live spiders in each of the cobwebs. This property does not have air conditioning. While that might be OK in the winter, we rented this in the summer and were boiling hot. Could not sleep. He provided a total of three table fans, which were also absolutely filthy dirty. Each blade was filled with dust. The fans did absolutely nothing to alleviate the heat inside the house. Had I known the house had no air conditioner I would not have booked it. Next the jacuzzi tub. This was a major perk and selling point for us. After I ran the water and turned on the Jets Jacuzzi tub started filling with a greasy yellowish substance that took over the entire tub. It was disgusting to say the least. I ran to shower and scrub all that film off my body. Clearly needed cleaning and wasn’t. Pros: location Bottom line, go else where.

Very sorry that renter had such an unpleasant stay - first negative review ever received and never prior comments about cleanliness. Renter was unhappy at arrival at our mountain home at Jack Frost. when discovered no A/C - property listed as no A/C, is wooded with fans and many windows, stays comfortable, and typical of these communities.. Was also upset about having to make the beds as linens provided and positioned in each room - the process most of us use. She texted the doors did not lock - they do. Hot tub is pristine and a great feature. Renter had problems with the soaking tub (not the hot tub) with jets in the master bath - apparently had sediments, not grease, from not being used for several months by other guests. Solution: run the water for a minute, let drain, refill. Will ask cleaners to check in future. Cobwebs with spiders - prior guests last week did not report any issues. Regret their experience but totally inconsistent with past reviews and experience. This not a motel. Please read past reviews Owner

Another wonderful stay!

Family Ski Weekend

We had an incredible time at this property. We had two families with kids (infants- six) and a set of grandparents. The unit was plenty big to accommodate everyone comfortably. It was clean and well appointed. We were able to ski on/off the slopes, which made it easy to come back for lunch to warm up and refuel. When we left behind a beloved stuffed animal, the owner even mailed it to us. We would absolutely recommend.

Cozy and spacious cabin

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The house looks just like the pictures and is very spacious. We were able to spread out but still have that cozy feel. It was great having a working fireplace which really made it feel like home in the evenings. It was about a 2 minute walk to the ski station. The house was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing get-away

Had a wonderful family vacation! Property was very nice and conveniently located but distant enough to be quiet. Plenty of room for us and any friends the kids wanted to invite. Loved the golf course too!

A WONDERFUL stay!! Location, Location, Location

We spent the long weekend here with family and it was absolutely perfect! The photos do not do this house justice. We arrived at the house and it was spotless. Not a speck of dust or dirt to be found. Beds were plentiful and comfortable, sheets were clean and new and there were extra sheets available. The house is STEPS from Ridge Run at Jack Frost. My kids literally skied from the mountain, all the way to the house, down the hill to the front door! Does not get better than that! When we weren't skiing we were sledding in the front and side of the house or playing family games that the house is stocked with. The views are beautiful from the back porch as well. The grill was great. The fireplace was perfect (could've used some more wood) but easy enough to go out and grab locally. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need including a full kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, spices, etc. Jim was superb at communication and there were no questions left unanswered, his welcome email had it all! We can't wait to go back to this house!
