Beautiful Waterfront Home on Baugo Bay

Beautiful River 3-4 bedroom house over looking Baugo Bay on the St Joesph river, only 10 miles from Notre Dame Campus. Takes 18 minutes to get there, we worked there 10 years! It really doesn't get any better than this, the breath taking view is amazing from inside the house or outside on one of the 5 decks. There are places to sleep everywhere and plenty of full bathrooms. The house also is handicap accessible. If you want to play, you can swim right off the pier or relax in the hot tub. We also have games, Pool table, corn hole, darts, Wii, X-box, and there are TV's everywhere. Equipped for more fun than you will have time to enjoy and built for comfort when you just can't play anymore.

Beautiful home with a spectacular view of the St. Joseph River. Hot tub, plenty on space for everyone, and a great host. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Notre Dame or want to do some boating and fishing.

We just stayed one night! Home was on a beautiful lake with nice outdoor amenities. Beds were fine, but small and thin mattress (and one queen was a blow up) it is an older home but adequate. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Sherry, Thank you for reviewing your stay. We appreciate you taking such good care of the house. All of the mattresses are standard profile 8 to 12 inches except for the couch pull out in the living room, which, yes it is a thin mattress pad. And yes it is beautiful here. We just love it!

Great Place to Stay!

Lots of space for everyone to hang out! Beautiful open lake in the back. Comfy and cozy inside with nice bathrooms and lots of options for sleeping. Nice location and not far from some nice quick food options. Would stay again!

Great spot right on the water!

Check in was easy and straightforward. Owner was communicative and friendly. 10/10 would stay again. It’s an easy drive into South Bend if you’re in town for a ND game.

Great location

Stayed for a Notre Dame football game. Very close to campus. Very cool spot! Would definitely stay at this location again! Owner of the property was extremely friendly.

Lake birthday getaway

Our VRBO was everything that was advertised!

9 adults gathering for a football game at Notre Dame. Enough beds, bedding and towels for all. It was very comfortable for everyone when we were relaxing, drinking and eating after the game. Great communication with Gregg made check in and out a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was very accommodating for my large group (8 people). The host was very communicative right up front, with no problems getting a hold of one another and no problems discussing and addressing any concerns. Everything was tip-top clean, and plenty of both private space and social space. Total comfort in sleeping areas, and plenty of comfy furniture and entertainment (pool table/multiple video game consoles/multiple television) in social areas for all. It was easy to hang out and get around without stepping on anyone, but there were spaces where you could separate and curl up with your phone or a book if you needed a break. The hot tube was very clean and well maintained, and was definitely in use for most of the waking hours. All other amenities (like washer/dryer/dishwasher, etc.) were present although I didn't have an opportunity to use them. I am hoping to stay at the property in the future for a longer duration and during a warmer season to take advantage of the water activities. Much better option for group than any hotel and less than 30mins from Notre Dame (about 11 miles).

Book another place

Old pictures on app. This house is lived in. Dirty furniture. Oven door doesn't close. Door opens to an elevator in house which you could fall down fifteen feet. Drawers all full and nowhere to put luggage. Lots of extension cords everywhere {fire hazard}. Odd room setup downstairs. Bathroom downstairs is very cramped. Not worth the price!

I am sorry Alan you didn't enjoy your stay. Yes, the house is lived in. Its a beautiful place. Reviewed the pictures and added a picture of the new living room carpet and new patio furniture. The elevator door has 2 locks inside and out. Emptied some of the top drawers for those that would like to unpack. The furniture is cleaned twice a year, its pretty clean. First 1 star review in 15years.

Beautiful Views

The views from the decks are beautiful. The house does sleep 10 but there are not 4 bedrooms; really only 2. We ended up renting a boat on a different lake because the St Joseph River is not good for a novice boat driver, plus the boat at the house was not operating. Hot tub was great but there is no fire pit. All in all we had a nice peaceful time with family and enjoyed the sunset.

Beautiful view!

Gregg’s place was so comfortable and homey and peaceful for a get together of sisters and friends to celebrate my sister who is getting married this month. We had several people coming from different directions, and there was plenty of parking space. The view from the decks was one of our favorite parts, but the hot tub, ample outdoor spaces and seating, comfy living room, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen were very appreciated and enjoyed as well. Everything was set up and ready for our arrival, with plenty of towels, extra blankets and even fans for the bedrooms. This place did not disappoint!!

Awesome stay for large groups!

We rented Gregg’s spot for a 30th birthday party and had an awesome time. Gregg was very responsive and communicative host, and the space was more than enough for 10 sleeping over and up to 14 coming over during the day. The varied levels of rooms and decks provided lots of different environments for people to hang out in. It was a very food heavy weekend, so the propane and grill were lifesavers, although we did have some issues with the oven so keep that in mind. It was also helpful that we brought blow up mattresses as there were 4 beds and the rest of the sleeping area were couches. Overall a ton to do and a perfect weekend!

Family getaway

Gregg, the property owner was super friendly and very easy to work with! Property was expected as listed! There were 7 of us and there was plenty of beds and sleeping options available-he even set out an extra air mattress which did help! Beds were super comfortable. View was beautiful. Home had what we needed for our stay. We griled one night. Went out one night. Went to local winery. Relaxed in hot tub. Fished and overall enjoyed the entire home. Shopping close by and neighbors were super friendly as well! Would definitely recommend this home!

I bought all brick home with oak floors on the river when my wife worked at Notre Dame, and fell in love with the water, and the peace it brings, as well as the fun. So I continued to upgrade the house and different ways to enjoy the property inside and out. My family's has every gathering here, Christmas, reunions and all holidays here. The house is so comfortable and so many things to do. Just wonderful!!!!

This is the perfect house for family get togethers, its always the our large family gets together for reunions, and celebrations, at a reasonable price. The large body of water is breathtaking. Just beautiful !!!!

The view of the sunset over the water in the backyard is breathtaking and can be seen from all most all the rooms in the house. So many games to play inside and out. Or just the perfect place to relax. The sun sets in the backyard over Baugo Bay.
