Property sleeps up to 23 & is great for families. Hiking trails, ocean breezes & legendary Saddle Peak Lodge in exclusive Monte Nido (home of the most influential families) adjacent to both Malibu & Calabasas. Relaxed Luxury with a Boho Chic vibe.

The Award Winning Malibu Retreat includes BOTH the Main and Guest Houses on our 3 acre estate property for Vacations, Retreats, Productions, photo shoots, weddings & Exclusive Gatherings (all events on a case by case basis). We DO host select gatherings, weddings, photo shoots, retreats & production locations for movies & music videos, but all of these types of bookings have different needs, parameters, rules, regulations & contracts. So if you’re planning for anything other than a vacation stay, feel free to reach out to us and include all of your needs & details outlined so we can give you the correct pricing to accommodate (if it’s possible). We are NOT a good fit for wild parties! We’re more like a quiet, beautiful, sanctuary....

For Liability Purposes, only registered guests are permitted on property at any time - so if you plan to have company, please include your guests in the total booking number.

Important to know:
We issue direct leases with our guests once you book here & we require a 4-5k direct security deposit (which is fully refundable within 15 days of your departure if not needed). This will be covered in our lease. If you’d like to bring a dog, we love dogs - but please ask first.

Guests have the option to book the Main House or the Entire Property including Guest House.

The Malibu Retreat is an award-winning 3 acre unique property w/ 2 separate structures. Admirably located right between Calabasas & Malibu in the exclusive neighborhood of Monte Nido, our property offers a Bohemian Chic space with many spots explore.

The property backs up to 10,000 acres of the Santa Monica Mountain Range parkland.

With stunning mountain views from our natural pool and jacuzzi, or outdoor infinity Yoga deck, guests can enjoy tranquility while being only 5 miles from Malibu and 5 miles from Calabasas. Walk to many hiking trails, parks and even 1 of LA`s top restaurants is at the bottom of our driveway (The Saddle Peak Lodge). The Malibu Retreat is located in between Malibu`s world famous beaches and celebs newest favorite town of Calabasas.

We`re about 40 minutes from LAX airport, 20 minutes from Santa Monica, a few minutes from Malibu Beach & Calabasas and less than 1 hour from Santa Monica and Ojai.

We definitely suggest you have a car, however Uber is available if you don`t. We can arrange for airport pick up & drop off for you - as well as guided tours & adventures. You can walk to mountain trials as well as the infamous Saddle Peak Lodge restaurant which is at the end of our driveway.

A Direct lease with owner & security deposit is required for this booking. Customization is possible based on guests needs. Parties, professional uses & heating of pool or jacuzzi have extra costs & fees. Pets need advance approval & deposits
A Direct lease will be created & needs to be executed between host & guest within a few days of the booking. The lease also requires a direct security deposit (which is fully refundable if there are no damages).

If you`d like to bring your dog, or have additional guests beyond those in your booking, please request in advance so we can include in lease & make any adjustments to price or security deposits accordingly.

Pool or Jacuzzi heating costs extra & also must be requested in advance.
