The Shady Rest" is nestled in the mountains of the beautiful Sky Harbor Resort, conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tennessee.
Our cabin is only minutes from all attractions including Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country, and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We offer a spacious master bedroom, on the second floor with a King bed, full bathroom and balcony, loft/game room with 2 twin beds on 2nd floor and 2 queen beds in the bedroom on the main level. The Shady Rest has a fully equipped kitchen with all you need for cooking, all stainless appliances, which includes refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, etc. The cabin has a tile shower as well as a jacuzzi tub on main level and a walk in tile shower in master bath. Wi-Fi and TV with streaming options , wood burning fireplace, and a spacious wrap around porch with one side screened in, which is great for using the hot tub or just relaxing and watching TV. We provide all linens needed (sheets, pillows, towels, wash clothes, dish towels), dishwasher soap, hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Because of allergies some guests may have we do not provide bath soap. Or detergent. We love sharing our log cabin with vacationers who love The Great Smoky Mountains, and those who are visiting the Smokys for the first time as well. The Shady Rest has a home away from home feeling because that's just what it is, and we love sharing our home. We chose the Sky Harbor Resort because of its wooded mountains, which allows us to have more space than most resorts where cabins are side by side. Sky Harbor Resort is one of the largest resorts in the Smoky Mountain area, again, allowing spacious lots, hills, and woods, so that you don t just feel like your in a cabin in the mountains, you are in a cabin in the mountains. All roads are paved, , including The Shady Rest driveway. Some roads are winding and hills. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter months.

Security cameras with audio on property only where legal. On the driveway, front steps, and back yard for your protection and the protection of our property. The security cameras are motion activated. There are none located near the hot tub or inside the cabin.
