In the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire region, close to the Zoo de Beauval, Loches, Chenonceau, Amboise and Montresor, on an exceptional property of 250 hectares, the Château de Marolles welcomes you for a holiday in a unique setting.
Well equipped and tastefully decorated, with spacious reception rooms, 1 master suite with small lounge, 7 double rooms, 1 single room and 4 bathrooms or shower, it can accommodate up to 18 people very comfortably.
The Estate offers many activities for everyone:
Swimming pool, tennis, ping-pong, table football, walks in the woods.
The large swimming pool of the Domaine, 13x5m, is heated and located in a large secure area.

Rent in private management.

Pets, if well behaved and kind, are welcome, after agreement of the owner

Languages ​​spoken fluently: French and English, notions of Spanish, Italian and German.

Lovely Stay full of activity

A delightful stay full of activities, sports ( daily tennis !) swimming and long exciting walks. Our weather was very mixed ( we had a lot of rain) but there was so much space and local attractions: Chenenceaux chateau, Beauval Zoo, a mini chateaux children’s place and an adventure park we had no problem making the most of every day in a large family group - including 11 adults, 7 children ( toddlers to nine yr old..) and 3 generations. An extremely beautiful setting and a charming, friendly and helpful owner, Bruno… We’d come again …!

A beautiful chateau in a magical setting

Chateau de Marolles is a very special place to spend a vacation. The property has been in the same family since the 1850's, so the house and grounds retain the charm and beauty of a bygone era. The house is very comfortable and one instantly feels at home; one can easily slip into the role of the lord of the manor... The photos are accurate: the rooms are grand, but comfortable and are in keeping with a family country house. There are 2 inter-connected bedrooms on the ground floor, 5 bedrooms on the second floor, and 4 bedrooms in the attic. Most of the bedrooms on the 2 primary floors have private bathrooms. Both the pool and the tennis court are very nice and well maintained. Bruno was a wonderful host and connection to the property's history and regional resources. He responded promptly to all communications and was very helpful in finding resources and answers to special requests. Everyone in our party enjoyed their stay. We were extremely happy to be able to spend time at Chateau de Marolles and look forward to returning in the future.

Quinze jours inoubliables. Une piscine parfaite pour nos nageurs. Un tennis plus que correct pour nos joueurs. Un parc immense pour nos semi-marathoniens. Une cuisine récente bien équipée. Un seul bémol les deux chambres du rez-de-chaussée mériteraient une salle de bain moderne comme celles de l'étage. L'accueil de Bruno et son sens du service sont remarquables

Amazing chateau vacation

Our group of 11, consisting of three generations, had a wonderful time at the chateau. Bruno is a welcoming and responsive host, who shared the family's history with us upon arrival. It made it extra special to hear the stories associated with the property. He lives on the estate, so he and his loverly dog would come by if we needed his help. The estate is beautiful and extensive. Some of us went running for an hour and barely covered 1/3 of the estate. We saw lots of wildlife - deer, birds, and even a fox. It was a hot week when we were there, so we spent lots of time in the pool and sat on the lawn looking over the pond in the evening, listening to the birds and frogs and looking for the first star. It was truly magical. We found the house to be quite comfortable. The stove/oven (which is gorgeous) is just outside the kitchen, in the breakfast area, but we didn't find the layout to be problematic. We used the large dining table for dinners and board games, and the room with the red window cushions became our favorite place to sit and read. The adults stayed in the bedrooms in the ground floor and the second floor, and the kids were up in the "servants' quarters." The space is fun, but because we were there during the hottest heat wave in recent history, it got hot to sleep up there. We didn't try the tennis court because of the heat, but it looked very nice. The town of Genille has a midsize supermarket that is quite adequate, a bakery, and a little bar where you can have a morning espresso. Larger stores are in towns about 25 min. away, and it's easy to incorporate a grocery stop in the day's itinerary of visiting nearby towns and chateaus. There are also markets in nearby towns. We did a lot of sightseeing during our stay, but my favorite time was relaxing at the chateau at the end of the day. We would love to go back and stay again.

Séjour familial parfait dans un endroit magnifique

Très belle propriété agréable et au calme. Tout était conforme à la description de l'annonce, le château et les parties extérieures sont bien entretenues. Bruno est particulièrement soucieux du bien être de ses hôtes, à l’écoute, et très réactif aux éventuels besoins. Nous recommandons !

A Real Chateau

This is a real Chateau at the Loire Vally. The house is huge, and sits in a very large property. Some of the rooms are very stylish. There are a couple other houses on this large property, another gite for example, as well as the owner and family. However, this is not a problem, as there is enough private space. The pool, which is heated to 28 C, is shared with the gite, as well as the tennis court and the table games. The pool itself is very nice - the area around is still not totally developped. Temperatures at night are usually rather low, so 28 C is nice (not sure it holds in colder days). The tennis court is very good, with a new net. The table games are in so-so condition. The pool is a couple minutes walk from the house (probably 150 m). We also played Badminton on the grass in front of the house. The house itself is very well equipped. Excellent professional stove, but not such a good area to prepare the food. The inside area is huge, but the rooms arrangement - vis-a-vis the bathrooms is only OK. There are 4 bathrooms/showers, some of which are not en-suite with the bedrooms. The second floor has more bedrooms and another bathroom, but the conditions there are only OK. Very large dining room, with tons of bowls and plates. Wifi reception is limited to an area not far from the router. Internet service in the area is not very good. We had 2 hours a day of cleaning service, mainly in the kitchen and dining area. Drive to Genille, the nearest town is 6-7 minutes. There is a small supermarket there and a boulengerie. Big supermarket about 20-25 minutes and a hypermarket about 35 minutes drive. The host, Bruno, is very nice, and helpful. We did not get enough rest in the place. Perhaps we need to return at some point...
