Spectacular Timberframe Home very near Stratton Mountain, Vermont. Extraordinary soaring ceilings with fieldstone fireplace/chimney. Outdoor hot tub. Pool table. Five bedrooms, large loft, finished basement. Plenty of room for a group of up to 16, but not too overwhelming for a couple or two. Central A/C. Large/open yard, cottage, and lots of toys for children to play. Skiing, hiking, antiquing, lakes, horseback-riding, outlet shopping, and plenty of other attractions nearby. An unforgettable experience.

Although Stratton is closest, Bromley, Mount Snow, Magic Mountain, Okemo and Killington are also all easily reachable from this house.

Great stay!

Had a large group of friends over, and the place was fanatic. Very spacious, with lots of beds and rooms to explore. Hot tub and fire pit are a must!

Cozy retreat

Great for family time. Movies, puzzles, popcorn to relax after a day of snow fun! Don’t forget your suits for the hot tub!

Weekend Saved at a Great Stay i Vermont

I had a great stay with my friends. This host saved my weekend! My original vacation rental was canceled the day before we were supposed to go. Lost and worried, i looked all over vrbo for a new location and found this Vermont home. I reached out to the property, and they responded immediately! With great relief, we were able to book and stay at this location within 1 day of check-in. The host was very generous and let us check in early and out late. I am very happy with how the weekend turned out and i would recommend this stay. The house is very neat with lots of character and cool decor.

Incredible House Fit for A Large Family Celebration

The house was amazing! It had great space to accommodate our families and so many amenities. One of the best stocked homes we've ever rented. Jeff is one of the nicest owners we've worked with. He was helpful with all my questions, gave us personal attention and provided a lot of information on places to see and things to do. Great guy! The location was awesome and it had a large yard that was perfect for a little family Frisbee and wiffle ball competition. It was a great place for our family to gather and celebrate a member's 60th birthday. Thanks Jeff for the hospitality! Roxanne and Families

Snowed in

We rented the house for a ski trip with coworkers but we got snowed in on Saturday 3/4. Called the caretaker at 7am to request a plow but they didn’t get to us until 2:30pm. We were able to make the most of it by using the hot tub, pool table, snowshoes and indoor fireplace (though the firefighter we were with was hesitant to start a fire in there because he said the chimney desperately needed a cleaning and was a potential fire hazard). Nice big house with plenty of room to accommodate 16 people, tons of games and books scattered throughout the house. The place is a maze with eclectic decorations and interesting knick knacks throughout. Despite some minor setbacks (lights kept tripping breakers and Wi-Fi was down for a day) we would definitely recommend and would rent again.

women's weekend

14 women in my family go away every year for weekend with no husbands and no children. This house was perfect! the second fridge was useful, the beds were fantastic and the great room was the perfect place to laugh and tell stories. We are all extremely tired and can't wait till next year. Thank you Jeffrey for sharing your property.

Great House!

The house was large and easily accommodated our group. It was in close proximity to the mountain, loved all the amenities- hot tub, fireplace, pool table. The owner was very helpful and responsive when we got hit with a ton of snow, got the driveway cleaner in a timely manner. I’d definitely stay there again.

Comfortable for a crowd

We were a group of 14+infant & 2 dogs. House was great for a a family get together in a pretty setting. Listing description was accurate and Owner was very responsive to any questions.

All you could ask for

Our group of friends had a wonderful time staying here for a bachelor party. The location was beautiful, the house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to have an excellent stay. Great house layout, location, and amenities

Excellent communication from the owner throughout the process. Kids loved the games, pool table, foosball table, and hot tub. Very dog friendly with fenced in yard. Plenty of space in house and surrounding grounds. Conveniently located close to ski mountains, restaurants, and shopping. Very clean and house included everything that we could have imagined. Would definitely consider renting from again.

A New Years in Vermont

This property was just what we wanted. Perfect size for our needs 6 teens,7 adults and 3 dogs. We had booked a cruise but COVID canceled those plans. Other than cold weather instead of hot weather our vacation was perfect. The house and property were beautiful.

Secluded large home, hot tub - the best of Stratton

We had a large group of friends and couples for NYE weekend. With two close ski mountains, lots of space, large common area and hot tub, all commented it what the nicest ski house they've been to in Vermont. Owner and care taker are very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful house for ski trip

Highly recommend this house in Stratton! I was part of a group of 10 that stayed here for a skip trip and we had an excellent time. The house is very spacious and true to the pictures. Jeffrey was very responsive to our questions and everything was well prepared for our arrival. If you're looking for quick mountain access or restaurant proximity, do note that there is a substantial drive to Stratton mountain and stores, etc (took us >20min with snow on the roads).

Great place, very welcoming host and beautiful secluded property

Would definitely recommend, awesome layout, great hot tube in the backyar which came in handy after a tough day on the slopes. 10 mins from the mountain and close to all. The only sour item was the electric stove mainly cause i can never figure those things out and my bacon didnt quite come out as hoped :-)

Great stay in Jamaica!

My friends and I had an amazing time during our stay at this home over the weekend 1/20/17 - 1/22/17. Everything was exactly as pictured and described! Ample space for all but still had a cozy lodge feel. Stratton Mountain was about a 15 minute drive away and we enjoyed our day skiing and then relaxing in the hot tub back home! Jeffrey was incredibly easy to work with and made the process as smooth as can be. Would definitely stay again.

Okay stay

Our stay was simply "okay" for the price we paid. The house is outdated and looks a lot better in pictures than it does in person. Our favorite part was the living room as it was very cozy! It's important to mentions that some bedrooms lack privacy. There was a giant uncovered window in the room that we stayed in. Many of our friends swapped out their beds for the couch as the mattresses were not at all comfortable. I'm not sure if we didn't know how to adjust the temperature for the hot tub, but the water was scorching hot. Even after lowering the temperature to the lowest possible setting, it was still unbearably hot. We really wanted to love this home, but it was simply too outdated - especially for the price.

Amazing property, very well appointed & furnished.

This is a lovely large vacation home in a stunning setting in the mountains. We loved the hot tub and the warm fires in the stone fireplace. This property absorbed our family of 15 with ease. Very comfortable beds, large dining area, and well equipped kitchen were perfect for us. A few glitches were promptly rectified by the housekeeper and property manager. We had tons of fun ! We loved it!

We used this house for a week (family reunion). We were 11 adults and 4 kids and the house easily fit all of us. Very quiet. Multiple sections - great for hanging out. All of the amenities (kitchen, grill, hot-tub, laundry, fireplace, beds) were first class. Many of have stayed in this area several times and we all agreed that this was our favorite spot.

Fantastic VT rental - HIGHLY recommend!!

My extended family booked this house for a ski week in March. It was spectacular. The house is straight out of a postcard. It’s exactly what we wanted in a large ski chalet. There are skis, sleds and mountain decor everywhere. You know you are in ski country from the moment you step into the house. The kids loved the house. It’s a great place to play and explore. There were toys for all age groups and a great pool table. The kids and adults loved the big hottub outside in the back yard. The 5 bedrooms and loft were plenty to accommodate our group of 16. The skiing at Stratton was great, and the non-skiers had plenty of other activities nearby to keep busy. The time we spent gathered in the great room in front of a roaring fire will be remembered for years to come. It’s a fantastic house, the owners were super and catered to our every request, and we will definitely be booking again in future. Super time ! The Frenches.

Spacious, quiet, incredibly relaxing home.

My family and I stayed at this house for a week in late August. What a find! First of all, the house is huge (it could easily fit 10-12 people and has entirely separate spaces for different activities). It's on a beautiful piece of property - fully removed from the road or any other houses and the lawn was great for a large family wiffle ball game. Finally, it's incredibly well-equipped, with fireplace, gas grill, hot tub, great kitchen, and a nice dining room table. We went for a hike at Stratton, too, and the mountain/golf course is an easy 15 minute drive. We really felt at home here; I fully recommend it.

Have been skiing in VT since the '70's. This is a picture postcard Vermont ski lodge. A wonderful, quiet, idyllic setting. A fantastic place for family or friends to get together to enjoy a truly Vermont experience. Phenomenal in the summer and off-season too !

Big open common areas for family and friends. Lots of bedrooms/beds. Rare in hilly Vermont, we have a flat open field for sports and room for kids to run and play. Total of 4.4 acres.
