There is elevator in the building (not always working), the apartment is on the third floor. Across the street is a mini-market and 100 meters down the street there is a larger supermarket.
Nearest swimming at rocky beach is directly below the house. Within a 2 minute walk from the apartment there is a pool (open from around May to October) with a pool bar and restaurant. Dine at the restaurant and you get to swim in the pool or rent deck chair for some Euro per day.
Along the whole coast from the promenade in Saranda until Ksamil are beautiful beaches . Some of them are very popular and have sun beds (for a fee), restaurants and nightclubs for example Mango Beach, Ksamil Beach and Santa Quaranta Beach, just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Other beaches are more pristine, secluded and unspoiled.
The food is amazing, a mix of Italian and Greek cuisine.
Saranda was originally a fishing village. There is a lot of seafood. And the food is cheap!
Wifi is available at most restaurants and there are several Internet cafes.

How do you get to Saranda? There are many options;
Major airport on the island of Corfu with regular or charter flights (the boat takes 45 minutes to the port of Saranda)
Ioaninna in Greece regular (car transfer 70 km)
Preveza in Greece charter seat (car transfer 150 km)
Tirana regular flights (250 km car transfer)
Price in low season: 400 EUR / week, (April-June, Sept, 600 EUR / week)
Price in high season: 800 EUR / week
Prices include electricity, water, linen and towels (3 pieces, one large and one small for indoor use and a beach towel) and cleaning / laundry on departure.
