Lake Keowee Cottage - a high-end luxury rental on the lake

This home was built for people who appreciate finer things. It begins with beautiful views on a point lot in the gated Sugar Hill community located on the southern end of Keowee. It is in close proximity to shops and restaurants in Seneca and a 20-25 minute drive to Clemson. The house is ~4000 square feet, but feels cozy, modern and simply amazing. It was completed in August 2018 and has luxury finishes, from Bastone Lagone wide plank floors, to Thermador appliances, to Serena and Lilly sheets, nugget ice maker, Lynx outdoor grill, Sony 4K TVs, Sonos music system, etc. You simply will not find anything like this on the lake. The home was designed for a large family or two couples and kids. There are two kings, one queen and one full bed upstairs. There are two full bunk beds in the basement along with an 85" TV, pool table and ping pong table. Enjoy the outdoors on the screened in porch with a large retractable door to the kitchen or eat outside on the patio. The lot has a gradual slope to the lake, no hiking between the dock and house. Available for rent is a 2020 21' Crest Tritune w/300hp Mercury Verado, please inquire if interested. This is not a party house and guests are asked to treat it like their own.

This home was amazing, excellent location, perfect spring get away to a luxurious lake in the mountains of SC!! Brad was a very gracious host, would definitely highly recommend and would come back again!

Best Lake Views!!

If you are here to enjoy the water, this is your spot. Beautiful view from the bedrooms, living room, dining area and kitchen. And having the screen porch open up to the kitchen was magnificent. There were so many place to sit and enjoy watching the family on the water. at night, the family enjoyed the game room downstairs. I also loved that there were so many options for seating all the family and that the tables were large enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Hard to Beat

I'm very familiar with Lake Keowee along with its many different communities and options available for rent. As far a I'm concerned, this is the best rental available on Lake Keowee. The house is as advertised in the listing. It's a high end custom home on an incredible lake front lot meant for those who can and will appreciate the finer aspects of a high end rental. The owner and house manager were more than accommodating during our visit, even providing a few additional services not necessarily outlined in the listing. It's truly a rental with the feel of a concierge program. The home is also located in my preferred location on the lake with easy access to Seneca for grocery, dining and the hospital. Trust me, many of the homes in high end private communities on the lake are 15-20 minutes from the nearest sign of life, so having easy access to Seneca is a large advantage. So if you have friends and family that will appreciate a home of this level, don't think twice.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The home is beautiful, and the location on the water is excellent. The owners of this property have spared no expense to make sure their guests have an enjoyable, relaxing vacation at the lake.

Incredible!

The pictures do not do it justice! We stayed at this wonderful cottage over Labor Day weekend and without a doubt maybe the best vacation decision we have ever made! The house was amazing and the views were spectacular! I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a weekend on beautiful lake Keowee! Cherry on top was the industrial ice maker in the basement!!

My wife and four kids have been coming to Lake Keowee for over 15 years. It is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world with emerald green water that is crystal clear. This is very hard to find anywhere. We've developed great memories swimming, boating and just enjoying the majestic views. We built this dream home to share the experience with family and friends.

While there are many homes for rent on lakes throughout the southeast, none offer a luxury experience quite like this one. We've lived in several homes on the lake through the years and designed this one to perfectly fit the ideal lake experience. Simply things like being able to walk directly out to the lake without a flight of stairs to the retractable door to the screened porch allowing for California like indoor/outdoor living.
