"New Beginnings" is a custom built true log cabin, ideal for your family's vacation getaway to the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin will comfortably sleep 4 persons with one private bedroom on main level and one open loft upstairs with twin beds. With modern amenities, cozy interior and multiple outdoor spaces, the 10 acre property won't disappoint. Enjoy rocking in the big rockers on the front porch while watching an array of wild animals or soak in the hydrotherapy hot tub on the covered back screened porch. Enjoy mountain top views in the fall and winter or warm in front of the gas fireplace. This cabin is conveniently located close to the newly built Soaky Mountain Water Park by the Wilderness of the Smokies and Sevierville Convention Center. Drive only 12 miles to Dollywood for an action-packed memorable day. New for 2023 is an onsite soda and ice cream shop where you may purchase homemade cinnamon rolls and other items when ordered ahead.

Cozy cabin, the host communicated well, and it is only about a 20 minute drive from the main strip of gatlinberg. Price was reasonable and everything was as described. Thanks! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was nicely decorated. It’s located at the top of the hill so the view is nice and it was quiet. I recommend only All-wheel drive or 4-Wheel drive vehicles because the driveway is extremely steep with a tight turn at the top. Glad we didn’t have rain or snow while we stayed there.

Pros: The host is fantastic with communication. The cabin is cute, and it was perfect for 2 people. If you had more, it would be a bit crowded. The hot tub was nice. Cons: The road getting to the cabin is extremely narrow and steep. You need a compact vehicle or be fine with backing down this steep road to get down to where you would be able to turn around and a lot of people wouldn’t be comfortable doing so. The water does have a sulfur smell. Also, by day 2 there is an overwhelming sewage smell in the bathroom. So, if you’re in there for any extended period of time, like to do your makeup, it made me very sick to my stomach.

Pam was so kind! She had a hand written map sent to ensure we knew how to get to our cabin. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-kept. She provided a box fan to help circulate air to the bedroom, towels for the hot tub, and was eager to allow us to use the grills (even letting us know there was extra propane on property, just let her know!). The grounds had a few other cabins, with good distance between allowing for the perfect secluded getaway. We especially loved the rocking chairs and covered/enclosed hot tub. We enjoyed storms in the most relaxing environment. Please know the hill getting in is STEEP! Make sure your vehicle is AWD, and pay close attention to the rules of the property- follow stoplight system to avoid other vehicles.

Very quite charming property. Owners were very responsive to messages and even reached out to us to make sure everything was good..... only bad thing was the water pressure was weak... would definitely stay agin in the future...

Cute cabin with a great vibe! Very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfast and coffee each morning. Laundry and hot tub were definite pluses! Appreciated that all linens and towels were provided and the bed was comfortable. Host was very attentive (even when I had to call at 2:30am because the smoke alarms were randomly going off) but not at all intrusive. Overall, my husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in New Beginnings and would love to own a similar place of our own someday.

Cozy and cute

The cabin was beyond adorable, but the pictures online were a bit deceptive. They showed a second loft area with another bed, but when we arrived it was inaccessible due to recent fire marshall directions. Those specific photos should have been removed until the loft area was accessible. Other than that, this place was absolutely perfect. Clean, private, and just relaxing in general. With the responsiveness and how courteous the host was, along with the many rental options avaliable here, we would absolutely love the opportunity to stay again. Many times it's difficult to find vacation rentals where the hosts speak to you as a guest instead of just another number, so that right there alone would be my main reason to stay again. I've already recommended the property to a couple friends that frequent the area based on our experience here.

Very quiet and peaceful

Little difficult to navigate with my truck, but the property out weighs that. It was perfect for the two of us and what we expected.

Beautiful cabin, very quiet and peaceful

Overall very good...the drive way switchbacks were tricky, should've brought my SUV...pick up truck had difficulty with the turns, and when wet it was very slick...but otherwise, it was great!!

Long overdue get away

I will not stay here again, very disappointed on the location of this cabin . Very narrow steep road to the cabin do not recommend it unless you’re use to mountain roads & own a suv or truck the road felt like a roller coaster ride , also bees & wasps on the property which could be very dangerous for someone with allergies to insects ( property management did try to take care of the problem after being brought up to them but honestly she acted like it’s a normal thing no big deal) the cabin was pretty small ( cute ) but big enough for 2 people only !! a lot of wasted space I wouldn’t let any kids under 12 try to climb up those stairs way too risky!!

I have recently started an on-the-go bakery business where I custom make all kinds of regular, gluten-free and keto-friendly items. If you choose one of our cabins you may order bakery items and have them delivered right to your door or waiting for you in the cabin.

This property is extremely private. There aren't many in the area built and furnished like this one. Enjoy the beauty and serenity of this property sitting on 10 acres. We pride ourselves in having immaculate craftsmanship and cleanliness that will pass the white glove test. All locks, door handles, countertops, etc. are sanitized after each stay as well as new water in the hot tub.

This cabin is loaded with all kinds of custom woodworking including all handmade furniture, bathroom surrounded by cedar and jetted tub, copper sinks, walnut and maple walls, custom cabinets. The hydrotherapy spa is located under roof in the screen back porch.
