A unique experience through thence nestled in the very heart of Florence, Pitti Historical Home, located inside a 16th Century building is a brand new, unique and impeccably designed luxury pad with four bedroom suites, an outdoor terrace, and gorgeous entertaining space. Alongside the splendid frescoes which adorn virtually every room, state of the art technologies, quality furnishings and luxurious amenities provide for the most comfortable of stays whilst away from home.Our beautiful home situated on the 1st floor (with elevator) comfortably accommodates 8 guests in 4 double suites, with an additional 2 guests on 2 beautiful chaise lounges in two of the bedrooms. Complete with luxury fabrics, original pieces of furniture dating back to the art decĆ² period, it is like stepping back in time. The apartment boasts 4 beautiful bathrooms with distinctive hand-carved Italian marble for unsurpassed beauty and elegance, each one with LED Mood Lighting and luxury furnishings. Beautiful 16th and 17th Century frescoes adorn the walls and ceilings, magnificent chandeliers and wall sconces with hand-cut crystal form translucent prisms that sparkle and illuminate whilst a state of the art home sound system allows you to play the music of your choice.

Whilst the outdoor terrace offers picture postcard views of Piazza Pitti, the spacious chef-style kitchen is a worthy setting for culinary magic. Learn to cook Italian style in your own authentic kitchen or why not sit down and relax and enjoy a private chef dinner. The beautiful wooden table opposite the kitchen ā€“ sits up to 12 ā€“ is the perfect spot to gather with friends or family for breakfast or sit down and tuck into a delicious meal. Weā€™ve even included our own personal trove of family recipes, so you can savor the enticing aromas of the traditional Italian cuisine, glass of wine in hand, surrounded by the people you love.

During the rinovation wonderful and authentique frescoed and patina walls and ceilings were discovered in some parts of the apartment; it was decided that these remain intact, in order to conserve the signs of the time and the mix of various ages, and also to use them as basis for creating a dominant colour palette for the vorious rooms. Thanks to that decision to preserve the old soul of the apartment, history and modern luxury now come toghether very armoniously.

Pitti Historical Home was fantastic

We added this short visit to Florence after 2 weeks in northern Italy and absolutely loved the city and this fantastic historical home. This property was huge and in exceptional condition and the location across from the Palazzo Pitti was exceptional. Check in and checkout was simple and Erika made the process completely stress free. We had a perfect stay here--the flat was beautifully decorated (the home kept its historical touches, but was also modern), well-appointed, and central to everything. Easy check in with Erica who also arranged our transport to the train station for our departure. We would gladly return!

Perfect Florence Stay

Everything about our stay was perfect. The apartment is beautiful and centrally located. The pasta cooking lesson and private dinner with Erika was our best experience of the trip. Erika was super helpful with everything, including arranging last minute transportation to the train station for us. I could not recommend Pitti Historical Home any more highly, and we look forward to staying there again.

Fantastic Apartment in Florence

Our family stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Erika, the house manager was extremely helpful throughout the stay. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable for our group. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and it was a short walk to the main sites near the Duomo. We would highly recommend the apartment and hope to come back!

Amazing experience!

The location is so great! Can walk to everything and lots of great food close by. The house was very historical but updated and had plenty of space for 7 people. The beds were huge and the bathrooms were modern. Erika, the manager, made our stay so welcome and easy. She is a chef and did an at home cooking class, where we learned so much and got to eat the delicious food after! An absolutely wonderful experience, would highly recommend!

This property was fantastic. It perfectly fit our needs in terms of space, comfort and accessibility. We were a group of 4 couples traveling together and this home made our trip so much more enjoyable. The home itself was immaculately presented. I still miss the stunning floors, the thoughtful use of natural materials and the awe-inspiring frescos. I felt surrounded by the history and beauty of Florence just being there! The filtered water was a lifesaver and the espresso machine was a welcome bonus.

Magnificent Villa in the heart of Florence!

Our family along with my sisters family party of 8 stayed in this truly magnificent villa for three nights in Florence. We couldnā€™t be happier with our selection, each room was more beautiful then the next. The location was perfect with a short walk to all of our planned tours and delicious meals. We enjoyed every minute and our meal at the house our first evening prepared by Erika was outstanding. We were immediately made to feel right at home! You truly canā€™t go wrong renting this Villa. The key question is alwaysā€¦ would you stay here again. For us that is absolutely yes. Beautiful apartment with everything well thought out for a comfortable stay. Erika, the property manager, is outstanding. She went above and beyond. The owners of this flat own about 9 other rental properties so if I had fewer than 6 people I would ask about one of their other options.

Awesome stay!

We are huge lovers of Florence and visit several times a year. This was our first stay in a private setting. Everything was exactly as stated online. We were very impressed and happy. The only thing that would have made it better was if we could have set the a/c lower-BUT it was crazy hot outside!!!!! Outstanding everything! Highly recommend the property and Erika was wonderful!! Spring break

Giovanni and Donatella were gracious hosts and their historic home is lovely. The location is perfect- whether you want to explore the Boboli Gardens, Pitti Palace or one of the many chic boutiques, this home is perfectly situated. The apartment also has every modern convenience, including a dishwasher and washer and dryer, which is very helpful when traveling with young children. We also loved the luxurious bedding, gracious bed and bathrooms, and the thoughtful guest book that shared wonderful recommendations for dining, gelato, cheese, wine, apertivo, coffee, etc. We look forward to a return visit.

They arranged dinner reservations, a boat trip (which was sadly cancelled because of weather), a private dinner in the home with music & flowers (handled by Erika), and shopping for initial groceries. The LOCATION is fabulous as well. Only comments beyond fabulous: my 20 something adult kids thought the mattresses were too firm (but I thought there were great), the bathrooms could have more towels, and each bedroom should have an extra blanket.

Itā€™s not always that the pictures of the apartment online match reality. In this case the PITTI Historical House is far and away more beautiful than shown. History in each room, spacious and comfortable. To start your day on the terrace with a cafe or returning home to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine is perfetto! The location is excellent, an easy walk to wherever you wish to go. Erika is knowledgeable, informative and a very good teacher and chef! And a new friend who became family. Thanks for a magnificent stay, we would love to return in the futureā€¦ā€¦ā€¦
