Come and enjoy the magnificent views from Almost Heaven "The Cliffs". You are 2 miles from Ski Cataloochee.

Home is Motorcycle accessible. There is a garage for motorcycles with buckets and towels to keep them clean and shiny!

You can sit on the deck and see for miles and miles. Breathtaking and amazing. Enjoy the rockers on the deck. This 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath home lacks nothing. The main floor has 2 bedrooms (Master w/king bed) (2nd bedroom w/Queen Bed), 2 bathrooms and a Great Room (which is on the upper level and you must go up a flight of stairs to get to main level). Enjoy the gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs you can send the kids/in-laws/or grandparents to enjoy their own private area. Downstairs has the 3rd bedroom w/queen bed, full bathroom, kitchen/living room area along with a family room. There are 2 sleeps sofas one upstairs and one downstairs too. Plenty of area for family reunions and everyone having their space to themselves. Gas grill for your cooking pleasures. Enjoy your coffee in the morning casting your views across the mountains. Even though you are close to the ski resort, Cherokee, Ashville, Waynesville, and Gatlinburg, TN, you may never want to leave. But, if you do, there is plenty to do and enjoy for your day trips and think of the peaceful place to call home when you come back at the end of a long day.

PARKING for 3 vehicles stacked in the driveway area only. May have a small vehicle in garage.

PETS CONSIDERED - Must have prior approval. Limit 2 pets and 35-40 lbs. Pets are to stay on the main upstairs floor. Downstairs is carpeted. Up-to-date on shots, housebroken and pick-up after pet. DOGS ONLY

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay so much!! The downstairs was perfect for my son, his wife and four month old baby. The location was great. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall this was a perfect trip!!!

Holiday Ski Retreat

The house and location are beautiful and convenient. We had a wonderful trip. There was plenty of space, we had lots of home cooked meals, and even saw an elk on the property. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Property

Heavenly Views

The view is so great it is hard to leave the cabin. On a rainy day no problems the porch is still the place to be. Perfect relaxing getaway. Hope to return soon!

Very Homey and Comfortable!

This cabin was great to stay at. The view is spectacular! It was very clean. It was a lot larger than I thought. The master bed was very comfortable. I loved this area and everyone was very friendly.

fall vacation

need to clean under beds and furniture, not as isolated as pictures show but quiet anyhow, but great view and nicely furnished and great deck and yard for our dog.

Thank you for letting me know. It would have been nice if you had a problem with housekeeping to let me know during you stay, instead of the review. But, thank you again. The home has a deep clean twice a year, which includes cleaning under the beds and furniture, it is not something that they have time to do between every booking, and most guests, do not check under the furniture and bed. Also, the pics show 3 cabins across the road in from of the cabin and one next to the cabin. But, it is a very quiet area with all the homes on a cul-de-sac.

Just as beautiful as listed!!!

Everything was as advertised. The only hiccup was the battery was bad in the smoke detector and they fixed it quickly! Excellent communication from the owner! Will stay there again!

More than we expected

We stayed in the cabin for our annual family vacation in Maggie Valley. The cabin was very clean and large enough to accommodate our whole family. It was just like being at home. We hope to stay again soon. Thank you!!

Fantastic views!

This place was fantastic! The views from the porches are breathtaking. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the porches. The place is large, well equipped and very close to town. We even saw elk eating the apples in the back yard the day we left. We will return!

2nd time

This was our second time staying here. Great upstairs/downstairs if you have teenagers or two families. Wonderful Mountain View's. Just at the bottom of the mountain if you are going skiing. Close to all the things to do.

Maggie Valley trip

The cabin was beautiful and in a very nice area! The only problem we had was my 85 year old mother accompanied us and had difficulty climbing to the upper floor. But we made it work with all the acommodations! Thanks for an awesome vacation experience!

Great place for family

The view was amazing. The downstairs was perfect for my mother-in-law and her boyfriend. I would recommend this place. The downstairs futon/couch had a sign that it was broke so we did not try to open it but we had plenty of sleeping spots. The beds were very comfortable.

Great Vacation Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven “The Cliffs”. The views off the deck were great, and the cabin was very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable. There is a wall hanging of a bear in the hallway that we really liked. When we contacted Kathy Brrown the property manager to ask about it, she went out of her way to contact the housekeeper who had purchased it to tell us where she had got it (a gift shop in Cherokee).

Wonderful Smoky Mountains base

My family loved our stay here. There were four adults and four children with plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean. We loved to sit on the deck and look at the beautiful mountain view. We explored the national park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s about 15 minutes to Waynesville to stock up on groceries. Communication with the owner was excellent. We definitely plan to come back here again.

Perfect Getaway

The property was wonderful, very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The house exceeded our expectations, the views were spectacular the location was easy to get to. We couldnt have been more happy with the property. The check in and out process was simple, the owner/property manager were great to deal with. I would certainly reccomend this property to anyone looking for the perfect place. The worst part about the trip was having to leave! 5 Stars for us!!!

Enjoyed our stay!

The house was great. It was very spacious and everything we needed was here. Parking was a challenge since it is a sharp turn uphill but that’s just the way it is in the mountains. We did not realize that the living area was on the upper level. Bringing in luggage and groceries was a workout. Still, we enjoyed the porches and the view.

Great stay

A great house for myself, wife, toddler, and dog. A little bigger than we needed (as we didn’t utilize the downstairs) but really appreciated the large deck with fairly private backyard. Was closer to several other houses than expected, but still a good quiet cul-de-sac. but Quick to get in and out of town and a good central location for lots of hikes. House was in good shape and clean upon arrival. It was well stocked with utensils and cooking items. Hosts were easy to get a hold of for some clarifications and additional specifics.

Beautiful view

Only a few disappointments: Got a pan out of cabinet that had water in it, the pizza cutter was greasy and a few more items were greasy. House a little dusty and had some cob webs in it. The sofa in upstairs living room is very uncomfortable! Other than that everything was great.

Thank you for letting me know, I wished you had sent me a message during your stay, as part of getting a deposit returned is putting away the dishes/pots & pans, obviously cleaned. With a log home, you can sweep cob webs on a daily basis, and they come back, but, we always try to be sure it is definitely cleaned to the highest standards for a guests stay. Again, letting me know these things when you arrived or during your stay, I could have addressed with housekeeping to be taken care of upon your departure.

A White Christmas in Almost Heaven

The cabin was the perfect gathering place for our family and waking up to a white Christmas made it even more perfect. The only downside was the lack of heat in the lower level. The fireplace wasn't working and the central heating system didn't reach downstairs unless it was overly hot upstairs. We appreciated the mini heating unit but one was not sufficient. This hiccup, however, did not ruin our holiday. You have a beautiful cabin, well supplied, well kept and the attention you've given us is commendable.

The cabin is located in a nice neighborhood, it has a good layout & it has beautiful views from the front porch. Definitely a great location. The disappointment was on the cleaning. There was dog hair on the bed sheets, pillow covers & carpets. Some bed sheets did not look clean and we actually had to spend time washing all the bed linens. Some of the kitchen utensils were dirty & one of the toilet seats was dirty also. There's dust everywhere & soda bottles under the beds. We have been going to Maggie Valley for 14 years & this has been the dirties so far.

I am deeply sorry and disappointed in the review. As you can see all our reviews have been 5 stars, never even a 4 star. You texted me the next day regarding the dog hair, never mention the utensils or toilet seat. As well as you stated allergies for pets. As it states in your welcome package, if you find something not right, when you arrive, to contact me asap. I could have had housekeeping return to correct what was wrong. We have help with housekeeping as our housekeeper had fallen and broken her ankle. No excuse, just something I needed to know about your arrive. My suggestion in the future to you would be to be sure not to rent cabins that allow pets, as even if you find no dog hair, etc., there are scents that can still trigger pet allergies. Thank you again
