Welcome to the Wesley House!

This property is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom located in the ground floor unit of a duplex. The duplex is owned by Christ United Methodist Church and offers free off-street parking within the church lot. It is within 3-4 blocks of the Mayo Clinic in downtown Rochester, MN.

Each bedroom features a queen size pillow top bed, one bedroom also offers a twin size bed. Free wireless internet and a Roku TV are included. The unit is fully furnished and features a full size kitchen, dining room, living room, and onsite coin laundry. All appliances, cookware, utensils, bedding and linens are provided. Bathroom features a tub/shower combination.

NOTICE: We require 2 business days between guest check-out and new guest check-in to allow for professional cleaning and sanitizing of the property. Thank you.

Stayed for 5 days for surgery at mayo. Very clean and comfortable. Upstairs neighbors were quiet and host was easy to get ahold of for questions. Will definitely look at booking again if i have to go back to Mayo.

Nice place

I rented this for 4 weeks while my husband was at Mayo. Good location, clean, well stocked. The bed was very comfortable (didn't use the other 2 beds). The only thing I missed was a TV.

Perfect for Rotation at Mayo!

My family and I stayed here during my visiting medical student rotation at the Mayo Clinic. I don’t think we could have found a better place! The property is only a couple of blocks from the main clinic and is less than 1 mile from the Saint Mary’s campus. The owners were very responsive, and the property included everything we needed during our stay. We can’t recommend this place enough!

The perfect place

I could not have asked for a better place to stay while my daughter received treatments at Mayo. We were there for a month, and fell in love with this little house. It is perfectly located. Walkable to both Mayo campus' and the church members are so gracious and kind. The price was far better than the others around and I greatly appreciate what they offer. It provided security and comfort at a difficult time in our lives.

Nice VRBO stay while keeping appointments at MAYO

Overall this rental of the ground floor of a nice little house was really just fine for our purposes. We stayed there while we were in Rochester for two weeks in order to attend a special clinic at Mayo. Mayo is within easy (~10-15 minutes) walking distance to Mayo. Home was very clean and cozy... and we also found that there was a nice food Coop just about 3 blocks away... very helpful. One suggestion is that it would have been helpful if someone from the property management staff had contacted us in person to provide tips and answer questions.

Perfect location

I was having surgery at Mayo Methodist and this was perfectly located. We were able to walk to pre-op appointments. My husband and SIL were able to walk to see me after. It had on-site parking too which was another bonus for us. It met our needs during our stay. Thank you!

Quiet convenient comfortable stay

Very grateful for this apartment. So convenient to Mayo Clinic. The church, which is next door, hosts a thrift store that is excellent. All around great stay.

Great downtown place for family

I stayed here for a month while I was working at the Mayo Clinic for an away rotation as a Pathology resident. The location was perfect for walking to the Mayo Clinic campus, and it was ideally situated for my family to visit the various playgrounds and parks in the area. The unit itself was immaculately clean. I enjoyed my stay very much. The property manager was very prompt in responding to any questions.

Great long term stay

Perfect location for anyone working at the Mayo Clinic, either campus. Close to restaurants, parks, bike/walking paths, and stores. The house is clean, quiet, and has everything you could need.

Great Location to Mayo

We stayed for several weeks while I recovered from a kidney transplant. The house was clean and comfortable. The adjustable bed was such a blessing. The location was perfect- close to Mayo, restaurants, stores and pharmacies.

Great apartment close to all Mayo facilities!

I stayed here for five weeks while receiving treatment at Mayo Clinic and the property checked all the boxes for me. It was within reasonable walking distance to the hospital and had many stores and restaurants nearby. It was very clean and had a home-like feel to it. The property management was always prompt in responding to my inquiries and overall I highly recommend this property.

The Hospitality House was absolutely superb! The place was clean, completely furnished, had on-site free parking and free (and fast!) internet connection. The house itself was warm (we had the ability to change the heat level) and the amount of ambient light during the day made it very cheery and bright. The only drawback was the fact that the basement (where the coin operated laundry was) light was not working. (The light in the actual laundry area was working; it was the light in the part of the basement which you had to go through to get to the laundry which was malfunctioning.) However, Jenny and Kent (the manager and the building maintenance man) were on top of everything and attended to all of our needs very quickly. I cannot praise this property or its managers highly enough. If we have to go back to Rochester again, we'll be wanting to stay here!

5th St Stay Rochester

The stay was perfect for us as it was only 7 blocks for the Mayo Clinic/Hospital. I could easily walk to visit my husband. My husband did some recovery there -we were able to prepare our own meals.

Perfect spot for visiting Mayo Clinic

The property is an older house but in good condition. Getting to Mayo Clinic is a breeze, about a 15 min. walk. Don't expect top of the line furniture, but everything was in good usable condition.

weeklong retreat

We liked it very much. We had a power outage the 1st day due to too much on circuit beaker in 90 degree plus heat. Help came over promptly to correct and advise us to keep the microwave unplugged if not in use-seemed to take care of it Vrbo needs to show in the online listing all fees i above the advertised per night rental.. I think the actual full cost should be listed up front.

Thank you for your patience with the power during that hot week! We are working on the issue for next summer so that does not happen again. Booking fees for the church are up front, but I agree that it is hard to know the exact total until you are ready to book.
