This custom cabin, located in McCall's coveted Spring Mountain Ranch, is perfect for groups or a large family. The fireplace keeps the home cozy on chilly summer nights and cold winter days, and the spacious outdoor balconies offer beautiful mountain views and are great for relaxing and entertaining. This home also sports a game room and includes a membership to the clubhouse with pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room, and tennis courts.

What's nearby:
If you're able to get yourself away from the clubhouse, take a short walk into downtown McCall for a variety of in-town adventures. McCall has several thrift stores, restaurants and breweries, and a large public beach on Payette Lake with water sport equipment rentals. The mountains also offer several options for hiking and mountain biking. In the winter, drive a short 11.2 miles to Brundage Mountain Ski Resort for some prime Idaho skiing and snowboarding.

Neglect By Local Vacasa Property Managers!

Great property, terrifible customer service with Vacasa and local management. Reported an issue with A/C not cooling cabin below 78 degrees. Issue was never resolved. During conversation with local management was notified of wasps nest reported by previous tenants. Although reported before our check-in, wasps nest wasnā€™t removed before or during our stay. Due to neglect two children were stung multiple times.

Family Ski Trip

We took our kids and grandkids to McCall for a winter trip. This house worked out well. There was enough room for 3 rigs to park, the kitchen was well stocked and the open floor plan allowed us the room to sit and visit and cook. There was room to play games with the little ones and the adults could sit and enjoy the fireplace. It was a fun family vacation and we want to make it an annual event!

This place is SPECTACULAR!

We will definitely be back! Every little detail has been thought of for this property. It's huge, clean and very comfortable. We were traveling with 3 generations and there was plenty of space for the entire family to enjoy and even items for the baby (ie - crib, high chair, etc.) which allowed us to pack much lighter! The kitchen may be stocked better than our kitchen at home which is saying a lot! We ended up cooking fabulous dinners at home in the kitchen, on the grill, and the kids enjoyed s'mores on the fire pit. The walk to town is only about a mile and we loved the Fall scenery. Lots of activities in the area as well, fishing, hiking at Boulder Lake or Lake Louie, treasure hunting for garnets outside of Riggins (and we found some!), and plenty of lake activities. A very peaceful and exceptional family vacation. We are excited for next time!

Very nice house on autopilot

Firstly, the house itself is amazing. It is huge, well stocked, and generally in great shape. The walk to the community pool is only a half mile, and there are bike paths in the immediate vicinity. It is close to McCall attractions, but far enough to be a quiet retreat. The drawback in our experience was communication with the manager/owner was essentially non-existent. It is actually managed by Vacasa, which means you have to deal with an entirely separate set of instructions (we were provided two entry codes from VRBO and Vacasa, for example). I first messaged through VRBO and Vacasa to inquire about an early check-in for one family member, and got crickets from both. The next day, after we had already settled in, I received a form answer that had nothing to do with the request. That's fine, it was just weird to be ignored when paying thousands of dollars. Anyways, in the middle of our stay, we noticed a yellowjacket nest on the sliding glass door to the exterior; the yellowjackets were upset about us going through the door. I sent messages about it through the various VRBO/Vacasa portals in case the house had spray somewhere to remedy, but didn't hear anything. I found a Vacasa instruction sheet in the house that listed a property manager, so I texted that person as well, but no answer. Eventually, as we were checking out, some corporate response from VRBO mentioned 'opening a ticket'. The house is currently for sale, and perhaps that is why it is an autopilot.

Amazing House!

We loved this home in McCall. The owner has thought of everything for setting up a fun family getaway! There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out indoors and deck access all around so you can spread out outdoors too! Love the firepit deck. Huge and accommodating for a nice gathering outside with everyone. Also walkable to downtown McCall to enjoy the lake, restaurants and the kids loved the park with the beach. We really had a fabulous time and look forward to coming back!

Would give a 5 star but fell short in a few areas

We had a great time at this property. Perfect for large families with plenty of space for younger kids and teens. Great location, close to everything. The property was very dirty, with 1/4 of dust under beds, and mildew in the upstairs shower due to poor ventilation. The ceiling has cobwebs and the windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time. A few items need to be fixed as well, the downstairs bathroom faucet handle and dishwasher aren't fastened. The dishwasher wasn't emptied before we arrived, pool floaties were left on the grass out back, and patio chairs were in the main house. The best attribute is the front patio and gas firepit! We would rent again but hope they do a better job preparing the house for renters.

Great property as it's close to town and a nice spot. But place was 50 degrees when we got there, TV's did not work for about two days, and overall communication and action was pretty poor.

Family get together!

Our family had a great time for the second year in a row at the McAbu house. The stairs were challenging for some family members but we made do. The house is nicely equipped and large enough to accommodate all 13 of us!

Macall house

The house has good space. Stocked kitchen is a joy. Quick drive to the lake and downtown. The only drawback was the air conditioning on the main floor couldn't hold tempature. The beds were comfortable. House was clean when we arrived. Be aware there are lots of stairs. The fourth bedroom is not attached to the house. It does not have a bathroom accessible and is not air conditioned. We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful McCall

This would have been a perfect house, had it not been in the hot months. The air conditioning unit on the main floor and daylight basement is sorely inadequate. The BR above the garage has no AC, just a ceiling fan and circulation through 2 windows. Thankfully, we had a fan to help. The top BR was great, the only place that stayed sufficiently cool.

Great place!

Great place for a family gathering. The place is spacious, clean and has lots of amenities. Pool and ping pong were a big hit. There were a few minor things that need attention but overall in great shape.

Lovely large McCall home with nice amenities

Our family of six adults and three children spent a week here recently. The home is spacious for a large group and we loved the kitchen, patios ( front and back) as well as the downstairs game area. We rated our stay as four stars simply because, while it was excessively warm, the main floor AC could not keep a temp of 74. ( even with shades drawn). Also, we had planned to use the bedroom above the garage for one couple but they could not use at all because there was no effective cooling. Vacasa responded immediately to all our questions during the week.

Only Three Bedrooms

We did enjoy our stay. There are only 3 bedrooms with air conditioning. The room above garage did not have air. We chose this place because of air conditioning and number of bedrooms. I slept on couch in rec room because of lack of air conditioning in the 4th bedroom. I felt that was very misleading.
