Welcome! We are a local Boise family that has been coming to McCall for over 40 years. For us, this town isn't just a destination; it's a part of our history. Whether it’s summer days spent on Payette Lake or winter mornings in the small-town mountain air, McCall has always been our "happy place."
As parents of four daughters, we know exactly what makes a family vacation truly special: enough space for everyone to relax, a kitchen that can handle a crowd, and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained.
We built and styled this retreat to be a place where memories are made. It’s filled with the same love and joy that our family has shared here for decades, and we are so excited to share that experience with you. We hope our home provides your group with the same peace, adventure, and relaxation that it has given us.
As parents of four daughters, we know exactly what makes a family vacation truly special: enough space for everyone to relax, a kitchen that can handle a crowd, and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained.

Having visited McCall for over 40 years, our family has seen the town grow and change, but Spring Mountain Ranch has always felt like the perfect "home base." When we chose this spot for our retreat, we were looking for three specific things that we knew would make for a perfect family vacation:
The "Goldilocks" Location: We love that we are tucked away in the quiet, mature pines on the east side of town, yet we are less than two miles from the heart of downtown McCall and Payette Lake. It’s quiet enough to see deer in the yard, but close enough to zip into town for ice cream or a lake day in minutes.
The Best Backyard in Town: Backing directly onto the McCall Public Golf Course gives us a sense of space and openness that is hard to find. Whether we are watching the golfers in the summer or enjoying the snowy fairways in the winter, the views are unparalleled.
Built-in Fun for the Kids: With four daughters, having access to the Ranch House amenities was a huge draw. Having a community pool, tennis courts, and a gym just down the street means there is always something for everyone to do, even if we just want to stay close to home.
We chose this neighborhood because it captures that classic "small-town mountain vibe" we fell in love with decades ago, while offering the modern amenities that make a group trip effortless. We hope you love it as much as we do!

You can cycle through the traditional sauna, the inviting hot tub, and the dedicated cold plunge. Whether you are an athlete or just someone looking for deep relaxation, this private spa experience is a rare find in a vacation rental.
2. Beyond the standard BBQ, we’ve equipped our outdoor space with:
The Timber Outdoor Pellet Stove: Perfect for easy to manage outdoor warmth without the smoke of the Breeo
The Weber BBQ: A high-performance grill for the perfect sear.
The Breeo Fire Pit: A supposedly smokeless design that lets you enjoy the warmth of a real wood fire all while nestled among the towering pines. Wood is on the side of home and cutting wedge/ax under the outdoor couch in corner.
3. Unmatched Privacy: 4 Bedrooms, 4.5 Bathrooms In many mountain rentals, guests have to share bathrooms or sleep on pull-out couches. Our home is unique because every single bedroom is a suite with its own private bathroom. This makes it the perfect choice for four couples or multi-generational families who want to spend the day together but value their own private sanctuary at night.
4. The "Garage Hangout" & Weights/Peloton We’ve converted our garage into a high-energy entertainment and fitness hub. From the Peloton bike and weights for your morning workout to the ping-pong table and video game setup for the kids (and kids-at-heart), there is never a dull moment—no matter the weather.
