Without sleeping out in the snow, you can't get much closer to the slopes than this rental - less than 50 yards to the nearest lift. Bars, restaurants, pizza parlors, and more are all within a short walk and the Copper Mountain free shuttle service stop is just steps away, giving you unlimited access to all that Copper has to offer. In warm weather, you can mountain bike Copper Mountain and cycle Vail Pass, hike anywhere in the area, or try your luck with trout fishing on several local creeks.

Absolutely loved the location of this property, literally just behind guest services and the main ski lift. The fireplace was a beautiful touch! Be sure to bring condiments and spices you need (salt, pepper and oil available). There were some things missing from the kitchen and the management team was super responsive.

This unit is in a great location and excellent views from the balcony! However, this unit is showing signs of wear. Our experience has been better with other units in the same location.

Paid $600 in FEES for the 3 nights and received terrible service. ā€œHost,ā€ Vacasa, was non communicative. It took nearly two days to get a comforter for the pullout couch. Cleanliness was below average - very dusty under the bed. For $600, they made it clear there would be no Kleenex, one roll of toilet paper.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay very much. Overall the condo fit our needs and the kitchen was well-appointed. A few things could use attending to and would improve our rating. The microwave start button doesnā€™t work, so the only way to use it was to press a number for number of minutes to run. A table lamp had the wrong type of bulb and it flickered, so we couldnā€™t use it. The bathroom sink plunger didnā€™t go up and down correctly. Also, the sofa mattress wasnā€™t very comfortable so an updated one would be appreciated by guests. Otherwise we enjoyed everything about the condo and facilities.

Condo was not ready at 4pm as stated. Repair man was in trying to fix the dishwasher, which did not happen. Hot tub was closed at 7pm instead of 10pm as advertised. One elevator was broken down the entire duration of our stay. Left the condo for breakfast, Returned before check out time, but entry card would no loner work. Not a great experience.

Last weekend of skiing

The Check-In email was not clearly written. I called the property manager (Vacasa) 3 times because I couldnā€™t access the lock box to retrieve the keys. Final call said they would call someone to meet me. No contact until an email came 18 hours later. In the mean time, I got the lock box open. Once in the unit, it was nice. The big issue is that the microwave oven didnā€™t work. Traveling solo, I packed meals-for-1 to microwave. I resorted to boiling things but the pan had scorched on milk that I had to scrub several times. Also bedside light had a faulty/flickering bulb. Bottom line - Great location; OK place; needs maintenance; get a new property manager. On the Welcome email, use the term ā€œLockbox Codeā€, not ā€œDoor Codeā€.

Ok for a couple nights

Pros: location, box fan, usual kitchen amenities, additional blankets/pillows were helpful Cons: while we initially thought the place was really clean, we noticed that the area under the coffee table hadnā€™t been vacuumed and that the couch cushion was turned over the wrong way (zipper facing outwards). When we flipped it back we noticed that it was dirty under the couch cushion. There were two humidifiers provided but one of them didnā€™t work at all, and when we inspected it we found hard water deposits covered the heating element, making it inoperable. It was clear they hadnā€™t been inspected or cleaned. There wasnā€™t enough toilet paper for two guests and when we asked for more they said they do not restock after the initial stocking, so we had to buy some for ourselves. The bed was springy and the mattress was compact/thin. The fridge made a kind of high pitch squeal occasionally, including at night - good thing we brought ear plugs! We wouldnā€™t choose this unit again; staying in the central village is very convenient.

Vacasa was horrible to deal with

here are some of the issues we had with Vacasa: - Condo was dirty; we picked up garbage off the floor when entered - Dog scratches on door - Patio door didnā€™t close - Living room window wouldnā€™t open - No smoke detector in bedroom (removed from wall and whole there) - Dishwasher didnā€™t clean well, kick plate falling off, no top plate on digital cover off operational buttons - Only 4 dishwasher pods for 6 night stay - Oven didnā€™t heat up well, never seemed to reach desired temperature - Not all buttons on microwave worked (only quick re heat worked) - Fridge made weird whining noise a couple times a day - No extra pillows for pull out bed - Mattress and pillows should be replaced - One slat broken on a window blind - TV not working at first - Batteries on TV dead o Asked for more, never came - Batteries in DVD remote were eroding/leaking acid within remote - DVD remote end broken - Wifi not working at first o Cavasa then refunded some money saying it was internet, it was in fact the exact amount of overpayment - 1 Ā½ rolls of toilet paper for 6 nights - No kleenex

Late summer getaway

Excellent location. Room was clean and check in process was very easy. Only issue was patio door had a child proof lock on it that was very difficult to open but That said, very nice property.

Perfect 1 bedroom

I love the Tucker building. Iā€™ve stayed at a few apartments and this one was perfect for us. We were a party of 3 so we used the pullout. The mattress in the couch was great. No lumps, no issues. The bedroom mattress was also good. Lots of pillows stocked in the closet to choose from so everyone was well equipped. The view was amazing. We went to sleep watching the groomers on the mountain. The deck faced the sun all day so that was a cozy spot after lunch. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch. The apt also had 2 humidifiers, which for me, is a must have in CO. The only thing I noticed that was missing were games, so if you like those or are coming with kids, I would suggest bringing your own.
