Remodeled Foothills Townhome W/ City and Mountain Views

If you're looking for a wonderfully quiet, peaceful area to vacation for a long or a short term, this is the place for you. This Fairfield town home is nestled in the foothills with nearby access to shopping, Ventana Canyon golf course, some of the best hiking in the southwest,and walking in Sabino Canyon. Walking trails are easily accessed in this neighborhood. The view from the back patio is of the city, and there is a front view of the Catalina Mountains. Across the street is a lovely community pool, Jacuzzi, and tennis court.

This town home is on one level. Park your car in the double garage and access the separate laundry room and adjacent kitchen within a few steps. The remodeled kitchen is completely stocked with everything one would need. The great room has a corner fireplace and is furnished with table and 4 chairs for dining, a large sectional and chair, HD TV, CD, DVD.

The master bedroom is furnished with an upscale California king-size bed and linens. The master bath features a walk-in shower. A hallway leads to the guest bath/shower and on to the second bedroom/den which features a trundle bed for guests, TV, desk, copier/fax, and high speed internet connection for your laptop. There are two phones on the premises.

Accessible from both the master bedroom and the main living area is the backyard bricked patio with stunning city views and the mountains to the south. This outdoor retreat features a large outdoor table with four comfy chairs, grill, and two lounge chairs. Relax with your morning cup of coffee or spend a quiet evening watching our beautiful Arizona sunsets and evening lights of Tucson.

What a perfect place to enjoy some of the best views in Tucson. The owners are wonderful & have the place perfectly furnished & well appointed. Everything was immaculate. The neighborhood is attractive & quiet. Sunset from the enormous patio is heaven.

Bill & Ellie were wonderful hosts. They were very easy to communicate with and they had a welcome basket with fruit and goodies in it when we arrived. The convenience to the pool was fabulous! Espcecially when it was very hot when we were there. The kitchen was well stocked and the patio had nice views. We enjoyed watching the birds come in to feed at the neighbors feeders in the afternoon. The Quail were funny to watch. I would say the only downside was that there were not 2 real beds - which was fine with us as we were not expecting company, but if you were the day bed could be kind of awkward. Otherwise a nice place with plenty of room

Loved staying at Bill and Ellie's!!

We spent a wonderful month at Bill and Ellie's lovely townhouse. They were the best landlord's I have ever experienced! We were greeted with fresh flowers, home made cookies and cheese, crackers and a bottle of wine! Their kitchen is fully equipped, the bed is so comfy and the views from the patio were beautiful. We would stay in their home again if it was available! Thanks Bill and Ellie!

Since retiring, my husband and I have really enjoyed many VRBO/HomeAway rentals in a variety of winter getaways: Floridaā€™s Atlantic and Gulf coasts and the Keys; the Bahamas; Southern California; and three locations in Hawaii. None of these locations topped our experience in Tucson! Bill and Ellieā€™s townhome was immaculate, comfortable and truly equipped for Living vs. Visiting. Location ideal: very convenient for meeting every day needs, a variety of good restaurants close by, and the wonderful Sabino Canyon Recreation Area minutes away. Exploring Tucson and the surrounding attractions was made easier by the great collection of information gathered in the ā€œwell curatedā€ 3-ring binders that await your arrival. And we canā€™t say enough about Bill and Ellieā€™s graciousness and responsiveness. Canā€™t imagine a better way to enjoy Tucson!

Spectacular vista

This lovely town home has a spectacular view of city and mountains. It is only a few minutes from both Sabino and Ventana Canyons, as well as a grocery store, restaurants and other conveniences. The hosts Ellie and Bill were very welcoming and responsive. We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful condo, beautiful views, beautiful owners!

The condo is located at the top of one of the foothills, and there is a beautiful hiking path through the desert landscape that begins just down the road. It also affords a great view of the Catalinas to the north and the Tucson valley to the south. Great sunsets and a Christmas-like view of the city at night! The condo itself is well-appointed with up-to-date kitchenware and a king-sized bed. The decor is warm and inviting. We managed to entice hummingbirds to visit us within an hour of putting up the feeder! Ellie and Bill could not have been better "hosts."

A gem in the Catalina foothills!

My husband and I first rented this beautiful townhouse 6+ years ago, after previously renting in 2 other locations in the Tucson area. We knew as soon as we stepped out onto the patio that we had found our snowbird ā€œhome away from home.ā€ This property is nestled in the beautiful Catalina Foothills, in a very desirable neighborhood. The home is modern, clean, and welcoming. It features all the amenities you could want for an extended stay. The bed is super comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the laundry is convenient, the pool and hot tub are just across the street. But the thing we thought most about when we were back ā€œup North,ā€ was the incredible view. Once the sun set and the western sky turned pink, we would savor the sight of the city lights slowly carpeting the valley at our feet. There is no better way to end the day! As a result, after five consecutive 3-month stays, we ended up buying a home not too far away. We couldnā€™t imagine living anywhere else! You will enjoy the hospitality of the owners, and appreciate the care they take in keeping up the property. But that viewā€¦.you will dream about that view! Robyn & Gary

A Great Stay!

For our Christmas get-together, one of our three daughters and her family decided to rent a house nearby so that everyone would have plenty of room for their stay. This home was in a perfect location as it was just a 3 minute drive away from our house. It was also perfect because the house was prepared to help make them feel at home. They were welcomed with a fruit basket and ā€œchild-proofā€ Christmas dĆ©cor sprinkled throughout the house! There were toys, a booster seat and Pak ā€˜n Play available for our 2 year old and 2 month old grandkids. When the house key was accidently locked in the house, the owners were quick to respond since they live minutes away. This house was not only neat and clean, it had a welcoming feel to it with plenty of open space for a family of 4 ... plus itā€™s right across the street from the pool! Our family would stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Another Great Visit

We just finished two weeks at Ellie and Bill's town home. I think this is our fourth or fifth visit. This is a large and comfortable location, very private, very clean with a responsive landlord. The location is ideal for hikers as it is so close to Tucson's hidden gem, Sabino Canyon. A large south facing patio with excellent views over the city make this a perfect spot for morning coffee and sunset cocktails. The king bed is extremely comfortable and one wakes to the sunshine on the patio. We love staying here and will return again.

Great location, peaceful neighborhood

If youā€™re looking for a nice, quite, relaxing place to stay in Tucson, I would highly recommend Bill and Ellie's townhouse. The owners were very nice and responsive to our needs. There was a bottle of wine and fresh fruit on arrival. The townhouse was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed, including visitor guides, maps, and restaurant guides. They even supplied discount cards for the grocery store and pharmacy which are located near by. The townhouse sits in a beautiful subdivision and is just across the street from the well maintained community pool and tennis court. This is a very nice neighborhood where you can enjoy a scenic walk starting just outside the front door. This unit is very conveniently located on the Northeast side of Tucson close to Sabino Canyon, Mt. Lemon, and the Catalina mountains. We really enjoyed the back patio with a gas grill, comfortable furniture, and distant view of the Tucson Mountains over downtown Tucson. Out the front you have a beautiful view of the Catalina's over the community pool. We enjoyed outdoor dinning and happy hour at the nearby El Charro, and Ricks Cafe. There are many great restaurants and bars located close by. Thank you Bill and Ellie, we enjoyed our stay in your lovely townhouse.

Lovely Relaxing Place

We just returned from a wonderful week at this townhome. It is one level and has a very open and spacious feel. The home is nicer than the photos. It has great tile work on the floors and around countertops. The bed in the masterbedroom is firm with a cushy top. The bathrooms are both larger sized. The home was very clean and well stocked. We absolutely loved the patio. We fed the birds in the morning and grilled at night. The neighborhood is quiet and the grocery store is only 1 mile away. This is a great property that we would enjoy staying at again.

An ideal place to relax.

My wife , daughter and I stayed here for 6 days in Dec. and found it an extremely comfortable place. No negative surprises, and many perks not often found in rental units. The notebooks re: restaurants, hiking trails, etc. were great, as was the fruit, wine and crackers. The owner Ellie could not have been more accomodating; examples include a) crediting us when we arrived a day late due to illness, and b) sending us a phone charger we left in the unit.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen well, the house was spotlessly clean with attention to detail,everything you could possibly need was provided. A very quiet and peaceful location but within easy drive of local shops and restaurants. Even though it was December we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub and relaxing on the patio enjoying its spectacular views. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Restful home in quiet location

Enjoyed a few days here at Ellie's house for exploration by bicycle of the area. The home is in splendid condition, very clean and Ellie ensures that anything you might need is available. The back porch/yard area is wonderful for outdoor meals and has a delightful view for the sunset hour. There is a garage, laundry room and office with internet connection. A few minutes in thew car takes you to stores and places to eat. Perfect!

I stayed in Bill and Elli...

I stayed in Bill and Ellie's condo last summer and am enjoying staying there again this summer. It is in such a wonderful location, close to shopping, restaurants and many beautiful nature spots. Sabino Canyon is just down the street, Mt. Lemmon is close by, and Ventana Canyon as well. The view from the condo's back patio is fabulous - city lights at night, and a beautiful wash to look out on and view birds flying about and other lovely native desert creatures busy in this ideal setting. But don't worry, the condo is neat, clean and well- appointed and the creatures aren't coming inside! They have provided their guests everything necessary to feel like one is in their "home away from home." And should you need anything they will be right at your service. We stayed at Territory Lo...

We stayed at Territory Loop for a month in February and both of us hated to leave. We enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of the location as well as the comfort of the town house. Having a cup of coffee on the patio in the morning listening to the birds or having a glass of wine in the evening watching the lights of the city down below is a treat. It is just a few steps across a very quiet street to the pool/spa/tennis court. The house, itself, has everything you could need (extra linens, kitchen utinsels/appliances, internet hook-up). The owners are very quick to take care of any of your requests.

My wife and I recently spent a terrific long week at the townhome. It is as described - and better. I've rented a number of homes on VRBO and this property was not only the cleanest, it was wonderfully well appointed. The owner makes sure all your needs are met. There were fresh flowers and a bottle of nice wine on our arrival. The bed is perfect and the view at night is over the city and outstanding.
