This premium mountain retreat offers an open floor plan with over 2500 square feet of living area in an exclusive neighborhood next to the National Forest. Modern convenience is situated in a rustic mountain atmosphere. Hand-peeled log accents, granite counters, large windows, vaulted ceilings, and the cozy fireplace invite you to relax in true mountain style. The home is just around the corner (a five minute drive) from downtown Duck Creek Village with restaurants, shops and groceries nearby. You are minutes away from hiking, bicycling, fishing, hunting, ATV fun, snowmobiling, skiing, and horseback riding! After a full day enjoying the mountains, relax on the deck or take a warm bubble bath in the Jacuzzi tub.

5 bedrooms and 3 baths accommodate up to 15 guests on two levels. The Master bedroom has its own private bath with Jacuzzi! The master suite, 2nd guest bedroom, great room (living/dining), and kitchen are on the upper level, which also offers access to your grilling deck and patio seating. Enjoy a 42ā€™ flat panel TV in the upstairs living room with Dish-Satellite TV. Three bedrooms are on the lower level with a full bath. A 50ā€ Smart TV and entertainment system are located in the downstairs family room where you can watch unlimited NETFLIX or watch Dish-Satellite TV.

Mountain Cabin

We enjoyed our stay and the everyday snow fall. Easy access to both Bryce and Zion national parks. The snow on the red rock landscape was spectacular.

Great location and nice cabin. Our only complaint was cookware needs replaced and more kitchen amenities overall. That said, we would stay here again due to convenience to parks.

Annual Winter Trip

Loved the cabin, location and host. Iā€™ve rented a lot of VRBOs and this cabin wonā€™t disappoint. The host was responsive and the heater and water were on and ready to go when we arrived. Spacious and clean cabin. Highly recommend to any families and friends. We drove to Brian Head Sat and Sun, took the back side about 44 mins. Great trip

Daughter's 21st bday

The house was perfect for the 7 of us. We were in n out of house for much of 1st day, but overall it was everything we could ask for. Snow was slippery in some places, but that's expected. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for everything

We loved our stay in this cabin. It was just right for our family. We did a lot of cooking together, and the kitchen had what we needed. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed getting out into the surrounding area for some hiking, biking, and canoeing.

Spacious retreat

Cabin was spacious with plenty of room for all five guests. Only issue we had was walking into a cabin that had not been cleaned after the previous guests vacated the property. However, I contacted the owner, and he sent a cleaning crew over within an hour.

We had a wonderful stay at the Richards home in Duck Creek. 3 nights with 15 total guests and 7 ATVs. My grandchildren voted this there favorite vacation, and want to come back soon. The riding and wildlife was incredable. The home was clean, roomy, and enjoyable. We will be back.

Only issues the property owner could improve on is the refrigerator as it didn't work for the 1st day and a half but weirdly started working second issue was down stairs pull out bed couch is on its last legs for sure. Overalll4.9 stats pretty much unusable

Nice big cabin

We used this property for half of a large family group for a reunion. Pros: The location, trees, room arrangement, traditional cabin look and feel. Lovely, unique fireplace mantel, master bathroom showerā€”love the travertine! Cons: cleanliness was a concern. We found food wrappers and shoes from previous occupant. The overwhelming fragrance of plug in room deodorizers , which we unplugged when we realized what it was made us wonder what needed covering up. Carpet, particularly plush carpet when it is getting dated has a certain ā€œcreepā€ factor. New carpeting or flooring would solve most of our concerns.

A Wonderfule Trip

We had a mini family reunion in Duck Creek this year and from the moment we entered the cabin our family was enthusiastically impressed with the cabin, amenities and location! In fact they kept raving about how comfortable and homey it felt - Kudo's to the owner for delivering what he advertises. The cabin is quite spacious (the 5 rooms and 3 baths worked wonderfully for all 9 of us). It is well appointed with all the necessities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable (full kitchen with everything you would need - microwave, range, full refrigerator and all small appliances you would need, all the towels and sheets you would ever need, laundry and entertainment center). We are picky about cleanliness and we were very pleased at how well the property is maintained and how clean it was on our arrival (the previous renters left earlier the day we arrived so they did a great job turning around the property. Michael (the owner) was always prompt in responding to my emails when I had questions - both at the time of booking and shortly before our trip. The house is located within an hours drive of both Bryce and Zion National park (both are well worth the trip). An evening trip to Bryce to catch the incredible colors and the "Narrows" hike in Zion's are not to be missed The lava tunes are a short 20 minute drive away and provide for some fun exploring. While Navajo lake was low due to the lack of rain this year, still a beautiful spot for a day hike. (There is a small info center East of Duck Creek Village on H14 that provides great ideas for day trips in the area). Even the forest fire 6 miles away (but fortunately burning away from Duck Creek simply added to the excitment of our trip. We would definitely recommend this location and if we get back to the area we would stay here again!

Great Cabin

My wife and I hosted our kids and a few of their friends to a weekend in Duck Creek. The cabin was great, had plenty of room for everyone. The kids had a great time riding ATVā€™s and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. I would definitely stay there again!

Our family discovered Duck Creek Village over a decade ago while exploring Bryce Canyon and Zions National Park. We fell in love with it's peaceful charm. We knew it was a place where we'd want to spend a lot of time together as a family. Building a family cabin made perfect sense. We have loved getting away to the mountain as often as possible.

Some things we love about the cabin are it's proximity to ATV trails that lead to fantastic overlooks and wander through beautiful national forest land. We enjoy fishing at four pristine lakes that are close by and exploring interesting places like caves, water falls, slot canyons, lakes and streams. At the end of fun filled days it's always enjoyable to sit around the camp fire and talk about the good times.
